E-Commerce System
This paper presents the development of an E-commerce System (ECS) for users. ECS is able to manage the details of users who have registered to the system. Not only that but also this system can manage order details that are user has ordered. In addition, this system provides calculation service payment for items that are in the cart. The users of ECS are the customer and the admin. This system was developed using the MERN stack and MongoDB as the database platform
Tea Collector: Web Based Data Tracking Solution for Tea Smallholders
The sustainability of a tea factory also depends on the trustworthiness of the data collection and finance management. Collection of tea leaves and tea processing are the main two processes done by a tea factory. In the process of tea collection, they must handle a large set of data about the tea collection, selling, and payments. Data processing and summarizing can be identified as critical process because these summarizations finally sent to the factory for further analyzes. All these documentation processes are still handled mostly in a manual way. This manual process may lead to malpractices sometimes, especially when handling payments. So, there is a need to develop an easy way to manage all the documentation processes online. In this specific research, our idea is to implement a web application with features like adding, updating, and deleting data with a generation of summary reports. The main reason we need to shift from a normal manual process to an online managed process is that they can consume their time by managing the data more secure and trustworthy way. We have implemented this by using MERN stack as the technology where we use react.js for the frontend and express.js for the backend developments. Enhancement to Smart Cities in Sri Lanka using Cutting Edge Technologies
Advancement of technologies leads to greater innovative ideas and optimal solutions to real world problems. In Sri Lanka the “Port City” currently undergoing construction is an extension of land from Sri Lanka in which the goal is to build a self-sustainable city along with a mixed diverse community. The best use case to demonstrate the usage of modern technologies and the aim of this study is to turn the concept of a city into a “Smart Port City” which solves many different components in the 11th sustainable development goal, sustainable cities, and communities through the utilization of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, internet of things and blockchain in the form of a web application. Through this research, every aspect of a generic web application in terms of raw performance, security and privacy and convenience is outperformed by “Smart Port City” because of the utilization of modern technologies. The work done to implement and incorporate these technologies into a web application is extensively described with architectural diagrams. Additionally, deep dives into literature reviews was conducted to depict comparisons between before the usage of the advanced technologies and after the usage to interpret the results and findings to finally come to a decisive conclusion
Computerized System to Manage Business Functions of E-Commerce Web Application using MERN Stack Technology
In this research we analyze e-commerce web applications. This research focuses mainly on the advantages of having a web application to promote buying and selling all around the globe as a method to help solve the economic crisis. According to research, creating an online store with a web application is more productive than offline stores and makes buying and selling easier for the buyer and the seller. The method we developed helps ease the prevailing economic crisis as we need foreign currency and the web application developed helps solve that problem. The system was developed using MERN stack and was tested by performing the browser compatibility test and the functionality test in which both were successful with positive results. The system we developed solves many issues faced by offline stores and many other online store systems as our system was designed to accept payments in foreign currency and our store delivers to many areas around the globe
OAS: An Advanced Undergraduate Office Automated System for Automate Bank Work Routing
Office automation systems (OAS) have steadily gained popularity as a result of the information technology industry\u27s fast expansion. The promise of office automation, which is meant to increase productivity in the office setting, has caused organizations in both the public and commercial sectors to grow concerned. This issue becomes quite important due to the rising costs of new and enhanced office automation technologies. As a result, industries like banks have improved their front-end client operations using digital solutions. However, a large number of bank processors still depend on personnel and paper. This level of human processing is expensive, sluggish, and may provide results that are highly inconsistent, have significant mistake rates, and pose security risks. Through this research work, our aim is to consider existing significant opportunities in backoffice automation level increase and develop a pilot OAS to work smart with a higher level of efficiency in the office environment. The proposed solution is enriched with image processing methods to authenticate employees to ensure the security of the banking environment by enabling access control and providing a well-accurate employee attendance handling system through web and mobile app facilities which are enabled by GPS and API call technologies. To maintain on-time accurate customer support service, our study has proposed a smart customer handling facility with the help of an AI chatbot and some IoT device material
Bridge the Gap Between Deaf and Normal
Communication is the exchange of ideas between individuals. Humans communicate verbally, in writing, or visually. In everyday life, most people communicate verbally. This is because it is the easiest and most efficient method of communication. Although the hearing people communicate verbally, the deaf cannot exchange their thoughts in the same manner. Therefore, people with hearing impairments use the british sign language to communicate with each other. However, it is difficult for the deaf to communicate like the hearing people. In addition, they find it challenging to perpetrate the activities performed by the hearing people in their daily life. Thus, this paper proposes a system that not only enables the deaf to communicate with the hearing people but also performs their daily life activities. The proposed system is able to convert a text in a picture or video into a british sign language and a video in british sign language into standard text. In addition, hearing people can use it to learn the british sign language method
Robotics in Sri Lanka: Current Status and Future Potential
Sri Lanka is a technological leader around the globe. As a result, Sri Lanka’s software sector is conducting several trials with Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet of Things. This study places an emphasis on the application of artificial intelligence in a major domain, robotics, which will have a significant impact in Sri Lanka in the near future. Starting from an introduction to the robotics domain in Sri Lanka, we discuss what is robotics, the impact of robotics in the world, and Sri Lanka in brief. This paper examines the current state of robotics in Sri Lanka, with a focus on its potential for economic and technological development. We review the existing research and development initiatives in robotics and identify the key challenges and opportunities facing the field in Sri Lanka. We also discuss the potential applications of robotics in various sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, and education. Through a review of the literature and interviews with industry experts, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future prospects of robotics in Sri Lanka. The most important and popular robotics implementations are selected and further analyzed. Then the significance and contribution of those two studies to robotics are analyzed with advantages and disadvantages for robotics domain in Sri Lanka. Next, the technologies and key algorithms are discussed in light of recent research. Finally concludes with future works and robotics barriers in Sri Lanka
Centralized Platform for Managing Activities in E-Commerce Store
This project is a web-based online shop management system for an existing store. This online shop management system mainly considers managing and automating the tasks in the online store. One of the main problems raised on existing systems was that there is no control with the admin user to manage items in the store. This system has users as Customers (Buyers), Admins, and Sellers. This proposed system allows these three users to manage their activities in a central platform. This research paper mainly discusses the main functionalities available in this system, how these functionalities are performed by each user, and the way that these functionalities are implemented and tested. An in-depth discussion of the tools and technology chosen to develop this system and the reason behind those choices are also included in this research paper

The internet has been a best source for the medical service previously, anyhow the internet has been using to maintain the best patient-doctor relationship. Applications offering healthcare services on the move have recently become more prevalent on the market. They have been the trending in worldwide. Our online medical consultation is secured for the users to login individually and to process their services. This study presents an analysis of the published surveys and reports as well as the literature on online medical consultation from different databases. According to published studies, reports, and surveys, there has been a dramatic increase in online medical consultations due to several causes, including convenience, changes in illness patterns, cost-effectiveness, privacy, and second opinions
Travel Planning Management System
This project, "TRAVEL PLANNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM", is used to automate all processes of travel and tourism, which deals with the creation, booking, confirmation, and user details. The project is designed with React JS as the front end and Spring boot as the backend, which works in any browser. A travel planning management system is used to book a tour from anywhere in the world by a single dynamic website which will help the user to know all about the places and travel details in a single web application. The admin can add travel packages to the system, transport services, place management, and hotels to create travel packages. Then the users can sign in and book each travel package, and also, they can book custom travel packages. The user can confirm their bookings by paying for the package. It is the most accessible platform for travellers who can easily book and know all details
