An Empirical Analysis of Financial Performance of Selected Oil Exploration and Production Companies in India
After the United States, China, and Japan, India was the world\u27s fourth biggest consumer of oil and petroleum products. The nation is significantly reliant on crude oil imports, the majority of which come from the Middle East. The Indian oil and gas business is one of the country\u27s six main sectors, with important forward links to the rest of the economy. More than two-thirds of the country\u27s overall primary energy demands are met by the oil and gas industry. The industry has played a key role in placing India on the global map. India is now the world\u27s sixth biggest crude oil user and ninth largest crude oil importer. In addition, the country\u27s portion of the worldwide refining market is growing. India\u27s refining industry is now the world\u27s sixth biggest. With plans for Reliance Petroleum Limited to commission another refinery with a capacity of 29 MTPA next 16 to its 33 MTPA refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat, this position is projected to be enhanced. As a consequence, the Reliance refinery would be the biggest single-site refinery in the world. Comparative Analysis of Return, Net Flow and Expense Ratio of Selected Open – Ended Mutual Fund Schemes
Mutual fund industry in India has revealed a significant growth since its inception in the year 1963 even then it is far behind the developed as well as most of the emerging markets operating globally. One of the most important functions of the mutual fund industry is to mobilize the savings of the households and park their small savings in capital assets with the aim to provide them better risk adjusted return. The present study has tried to compare the return, net flow and expenses ration of the broadly classified mutual funds i.e. large cap, mid cap and small cap. Data on the selected variables have been taken for the period of 11 years from 2011 to 2021 and analyzed using one way anova. Outcomes of the study revealed that the mean return of small cap funds is highest followed by mid cap and large cap. On the basis of the outcomes this study concluded that in present there is no significant difference among the return of large cap, mid cap and small cap funds. For the variable net flow this study revealed that the average net flow of large cap funds is highest followed by small cap and mid cap funds. On the basis of the outcomes this study concluded that there is a significant difference among the net flow of large cap, mid cap and small cap funds. Average expenses of large cap funds are found lowest followed by small cap and mid cap funds. On the basis of the outcomes this study concluded that there is a significant difference among the expenses ratio of large cap, mid cap and small cap funds
Problems Faced by the Agricultural Sector and Solutions for the Impending Food Crisis in Sri Lanka
The purpose of this research was to pinpoint the challenges faced by Sri Lankan farmers as a result of the financial crisis, as the country\u27s government failed to boost domestic production of organic pesticides and fertilizers or offer farmers subsidies to purchase them. Crop yields were destroyed by the unexpected policy change. Average yields of rice, a staple food in Sri Lanka that was previously produced successfully and even exported, were reduced by about 30%. The Department of Census and Statistics Agriculture and Environment Statistics Division gathers, analyzes, and disseminates data pertaining to this crisis. The Division compiles statistics on the extent and production of paddy as well as other temporary and seasonal crops, livestock, and production costs. The main goal of this study is to provide solutions to the problems that Sri Lankan farmers face, such as those related to production, marketing, and finances. The “AgroPro” website, which we have implemented, is one of the best solution providers in Sri Lanka for the aforementioned crisis. The purpose of this website is to provide solutions and sample techniques, after investigating the goal, primary data was gathered from the farmers. Findings: To learn about the farmers\u27 experiences with production, marketing, and financial issues. This study aids in boosting agricultural productivity and encourages farmers to produce more goods. originality and value. Modern Control Approaches for a Wind Energy Conversion System based on a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) Fed by a Matrix Converter
This “paper proposes a super-twisting adaptive Control Approaches for a Wind Energy Conversion System Based on a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) Fed by a matrix sliding mode for tracking the maximum power point of wind energy conversion systems using permanent magnet synchronous generators (PMSGs). As the adaptive control algorithm employed retains the robustness properties of classical wind energy conversion system control methods when perturbations and parameter uncertainties are present, it can be considered an effective solution; at the same time, it reduces chattering by adjusting gain and generating second-order adaptive control methods. The Egyptian power system (EPS), a three-zone interconnected microgrid (MG), and a single machine linked to the grid are only a few examples of the power systems for which this article introduces the concept of direct adaptive control (SMIB).The goal of our work is to maximize the captured power by solving a multi-input multi-output tracking control problem. In the presence of variations in stator resistance, stator inductance, and magnetic flux linkage, simulation results are presented using real wind speed data and discussed for the proposed controller and four other sliding mode control solutions for the same problem. The proposed controller achieves the best trade-off between tracking performance and chattering reduction among the five considered solutions: compared to a standard sliding mode control algorithm, it reduces chattering by two to five orders of magnitude, and steadystate errors on PMSG rotor velocity by one order of magnitude”. The purpose of this article is to examine wind turbine control system techniques and controller trends related to permanent magnet synchronous generators. The article presents an overview of the most popular control strategies for PMSG wind power conversion systems. There are several kinds of nonlinear sliding modes, such as direct power, backstepping, and predictive currents. To determine the performance of each control under variable wind conditions, a description of each control is presented, followed by a simulation performed in MATLAB /Simulink. This simulation evaluates the performance of each control in terms of reference tracking, response times, stability, and signal quality. Finally, this work was concluded with a comparison of the four controls to gain a better understanding of their effects. “Moreover, it reduces the above-mentioned steady-state error by four orders of magnitude compared to a previously-proposed linear quadratic regulator based integral sliding mode control law. A dynamic model is simulated under both variable step and random wind speeds using the DEV-C++ software, and the results are plotted using MATLAB. The obtained results demonstrate the robustness of the proposed controller in spite of the presence of different uncertainties when compared to the classical direct torque control technique
The Hospital Management System
The hospital\u27s management system includes improved profitability, improved administration, and better patient care. The goal of this study is to create a digital management system that will boost the hospital\u27s effectiveness and systems integration standards. It was able to produce a module that would provide some facilities, like booking doctors, booking lab test slots, pharmacy services, and getting health programs. This system consists of an admin handling part, which means admin can manage users, pharmacy systems, health program management, and manage booking of doctor\u27s appointments and lab tests. And through this system, the admin can generate multiple reports according to his needs[7]. A module that would manage the admission bills and pharmaceutical payments; and a module that could monitor the medicine inventory of the hospital pharmacy. Problem statement because hospitals are associated with ordinary people\u27s lives and daily routines the manual handling of the record is time-consuming and highly prone to error. The purpose of this project is to automate, or make online, the process of day-to-day activities. Each phase guided the researchers in the development of the study and helped them organize the workflow of each task. In conclusion, the researchers found that the system could speed up the working progress and productivity of hospital employees. It could also generate hospital reports that could help the users to provide an overview of the hospital transaction within specific date. It also provided the facility for searching for the details of the inquiring patient in the receptionist module. The system could reduce the workloads in the hospital, resulting in better management and working performance. In general, the study resulted in a better improvement of hospital transactions. It has been recommended that there is a need to enhance the frontend design of the system
Reversing Negative Trends in Spare Parts Control
The consumer SPARE BROTHERS’ a Colombo, Sri Lanka company, commissioned the implementation of the online e-commerce management system. The users currently manage its employees\u27 significant amounts of data manually using a manual approach. The suggested solution enables consumers to store and manage data in own database, greatly improving the efficiency of their data handling methods. The suggest system is designed to handle all the steps involved in managing a spare parts business, including consumer, store, cart, payment, delivery, order, and rider management. Firstly, if a user is already a consumer, user can connect to the system with users’ credentials and be redirected to user’s responsible side. If not, user can sign up for the system. Here, it includes with this system set up as a distinct site for the user and the administrator. The system\u27s spare parts can be added by the admin, and those parts will then appear on the user side. Hence that consumer can purchase products based on user’s interests. Users can manage cart items here, and if user’s wish to proceed to check out, users can enter own payment and delivery details. After the order is complete, the administrator can designate a rider to transport those things to the appropriate location. Lastly, the admin can edit, delete, and generate certain essential reports to manage all the user, product, order, delivery, and rider details. Consequently, the administrator can add notifications, search relevant categories, and allow users to add wish lists. The solution decreases data manipulation errors in the present process, leading to a significant improvement in the utilization of human resources. It enhances consumers\u27 interactions with their customers, increasing revenue for the company. The process is simple to use, dependable, and effective, and its statistics meet the needs of consumers
Effects of Metaverse Technology and Drone Delivery: Online Mobile Accessories Shopping in a Virtual Shop
In the busy world most people don\u27t have time for shopping. So, in that situation online shopping is more popular in many countries including sri lanka. So, we intend to use the metaverse technology to make mobile accessories shopping easier in our busy life by this research. In addition, we also intend to introduce an improved drone delivery system through this research so, in the future we have an idea to develop our previous web application by using metaverse technology and drone delivery system. As the functions of our previous web application, we used manage user profile, manage accessories, purchase order part, add to cart part, manage delivery and manage feedback & complaints. This research paper discusses the creation of a virtual world in a way that appeals to the customer while using the metaverse technology and how to provide the customer with the experience of shopping from home in the future. Furthermore, through this research, the problems that occur while shopping in shopping malls are predicted. It aims to provide a superior shopping experience by reducing transaction costs. This type of research is useful for the development of the future e-commerce industry
