India-ASEAN Trade Relations (2008-2018): A Decade of Redefining Bilateral Ties
Get PDFInternational Trade among ASEAN has been increasing and it has resulted in growth of regional trade in recent years. India and Southeast Asian Countries can be tracked from ancient time with common geographical proximity, cultural affinity, trade and investment, historical evidence have suggested there has been a flowing of trade relations between India and ASEAN. The trade between India and ASEAN has witnessed a change in the various policy reforms and trade agreements. The overall figure suggests that ASEAN is an export-oriented economy and has a great opportunity for India. India’s relationship to ASEAN has created a diplomatic initiative to promote economic and strategic connections across the region. The trade with ASEAN from the year 1992 has been underperforming but India compelled to look to its neighbors for better opportunities
Trust Building Techniques for Virtual Team Assignments
Get PDFLeaders of organizations frequently a failure to employ the process of gaining trust tactics required for virtual project team adoption to be successful (VPTs). The goal of this qualitative single case study, which was based on Meyerson et alquick.\u27s trust theory, was to see what tactics project management office leaders and project team leaders (PTLs) in philanthropic nonprofit organizations use in order to successfully create VPTs can be trusted. Six project management office leaders and PTLs from a benevolent a non-profit in the Beijing metropolitan area region took part in the workshop. Semi structured interviews and a study of organizational documents were used to gather data. A thematic approach was used to analyses the data. Trust, leadership, communication, and technology were the primary topics that emerged from the research. One of the most important recommendations is for leaders to create a climate that promotes good communication and the use of appropriate technologies to improve team collaboration and work efforts. The possibility for charitable groups in order to successfully use VPTs in support of disaster and humanitarian relief programmes for the benefit of communities and individuals all over the entire world is one of the positive social change implications
Trade Balance and Growth of Indian Agriculture Exports

(Current prices). Agriculture accounted for 10.5% of India\u27s total exports in 2017 with a value of $33.87 billion. The paper\u27s introduction, goals, review of literature, research methodology, growth rates in agricultural commodity trade, India\u27s agriculture trade, government agriculture foreign trade strategy, conclusion, and recommendations are among the sections of the paper that are included. Trade in agricultural commodities in India was studied using an exponential model of the form Yt = abteu. “Make-upping” the Suppression”: A Qualitative Inquiry in the Modelling Industry in Sri Lanka
Get PDFBecause of the rational job environment throughout the industrial period, where emotions would interfere with good judgment, workplace emotions were neglected. The idea of emotional labour, where people traded their emotions for money, has grown significantly with the rise of the service economy. More specifically, in order to enhance job results in the modelling industry, academics are starting to look into how companies manage emotions. Despite the stigma and preconceptions, the sector still endures as a result of the culture that has developed in the Sri Lankan environment, it is rapidly expanding. However, this industry receives relatively little consideration when it comes to performing research. Combining these two, the primary research question of this study attempts to answer is how the Sri Lankan models carry out emotional labour. By employing convenience sampling to choose a sample of female graduates, a series of eight (08) interviews were included since the researchers felt that they were knowledgeable about the phenomenon. Using thematic analysis, the two main themes were found to be "Charming Clients: Turning on the Fascination" and "Building Impressions: Replicating It." Despite the fact that the results were largely consistent with the global context, there were hints of the culture\u27s influence in Sri Lanka. The researcher hopes to draw the conclusion that changing women\u27s perceptions of modelling as a viable career path is necessary
Impact of Payment Bank in Financial Inclusion: A Case Study of India Post Payment Bank

It has been a vital challenge for Govt. of India and other financial regulators for a long time in spite of taking many initiatives. Derivation of payment banks emerged with the first budget speech of the Hon’ble Finance Minister; Mr. Arun Jaitley mentioned “RBI to create a framework for licensing small banks and other differentiated banks”. Considering socio-economic condition across the length and breadth of the country, Payment banks with special guidelines have been injected in the banking platform to be fully networked and technology driven in order to accelerate the periphery of financial inclusion by providing especially remittance services to the unbanked. This study attempts to review the parameter of financial inclusion and find the impact of India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) in financial inclusion. The present study is exploratory and descriptive in nature based on secondary data. The results show a positive impact on financial inclusion by IPPB as it leverages its Aadhaar enabled Payment System (AePS) services, interoperable doorstep banking services and huge network of postal employees. In the dynamic cyber world, the complex natures of frauds are creating a need for research in the forensic accounting area. Since independence, the Incremental growth of voluminous financial scams is a black spot in the Indian economy. Moreover, the list of challenges to better practices of forensic accounting in India is too extensive. There are few agencies in India, which are dedicated to the mission of combating fraud for example- SFIO, FEMA, RBI, CBI (Economic Office Wing) deals with big financial scams, Central Vigilance Commission deals with corruption. In view of India, the better practices of forensic accounting should be observed by stakeholders carefully to boost economic growth.

Youth Unemployment and Its Impact on Economic Growth: An Analysis
Get PDFEconomic life in emerging countries is dominated by challenges such as unemployment and inflation. For the period 2009-2015, this study attempts to estimate the short-run tradeoff between inflation and unemployment in the Indian economy in order to determine whether such a tradeoff exists. For a short period of time, inflation and unemployment have an inverse connection, with more inflation leading to lower unemployment. In the first model, the dependent variable is unemployment; in the second model, inflation; and in the third model, real GDP is the dependent variable. The results of the study show that unemployment has a statistically insignificant influence on inflation and real GDP. According to the data, unemployment has a negative impact on inflation and a positive impact on real GDP. With a large impact on employment, prices, the standard of living of citizens, and the real GDP of countries in developing regions, unemployment is a recurring issue in all of these economies. There is a strong correlation between unemployment and inflation, although this correlation is not substantial in our current economic situation. As a result, the most important policy
How Service Quality effects on Guest Satisfaction in Boutique Hotels: With Special Reference to Central Province
Get PDFFollowing the aftermath of the civil war, the Sri Lankan tourism industry begins to surge and enters its golden era. However, due to the Easter Sunday attack in 2019 and the COVID-19 global pandemic, Sri Lankan tourism is struggling to perform as well as it did previously. When contemplating the hotel sector, particularly with this COVID-19 impact, the boutique hotel category has become one of the world\u27s and Sri Lanka\u27s fastest-growing segments of the hotel industry. They are comparatively small but exclusive properties designed to cater to privileged clients with an exemplary performance at premium prices. Tourists prefer boutique hotels because they want to spend their vacation in a more private secure setting. Even though guest satisfaction has an effect on hotel performance and previous studies show that service quality has a high impact on guest satisfaction, this study was conducted to investigate how service quality effects on guests\u27 satisfaction in boutique hotels with special reference to the Central Province. The researchers chose four boutique hotels in Central Province and collected data from 100 guests who visited those four boutique hotels. The convenience sampling method was used and a structured questionnaire was used to collect data. The SERVQUAL model was used to evaluate service quality. With the help of SPSS 21.0, descriptive statistics, regression, and correlation were used to analyze the data. According to the findings, the tangibles, assurance, and reliability factors have the greatest impact on increasing guest satisfaction and the researchers recommend that service quality be enhanced by increasing the indicators that influence those dimensions
