Evaluating Risk Factors Affecting Employee Overload in Healthcare Institutions Using Machine Learning Models: Predictions Based on Health Screening Indicators
Taiwan’s National Health Insurance (NHI) system only utilizes 6-7% of the nation's GDP, yet it provides high healthcare quality and highly affordable services. However, healthcare staff are under considerable pressure, further exacerbating the strained workforce. This study applies six machine learning algorithms to explore important risk factors related to the excessive workload (overload) of healthcare institution staff, highlighting the significance of understanding these factors. Workload overload refers to the physiological state caused by long-term high stress, a serious 21st-century health issue. In Taiwan, the standard for recognizing overwork is based on workload during the six months and before the onset of illness, as outlined by the "Guidelines for Preventing Diseases Triggered by Abnormal Workload" from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) of the Ministry of Labor, Taiwan. These guidelines serve as a reference for defining working hours and overwork for both employers and employees. The Ministry of Labor mandates annual health checkups for workers across various industries in Taiwan, which includes an assessment of employee overload using the "Employee Overwork Assessment Scale.".補正完畢國際Beppu, JapanJP

Zero-delay FPGA-based odd-even sorting network
Sorting is one of the most well-known problems in computer science and is frequently used for benchmarking computer systems. It can contribute significantly to the overall execution time of a process in a computer system. Dedicated sorting architectures can be used to accelerate applications and/or to reduce energy consumption. In this paper, we propose an efficient sorting network aiming at accelerating the sorting operation in FPGA-based embedded systems. The proposed sorting network is implemented based on an Optimized Odd-even sorting method (O2) using fully pipelined combinational logic architecture and ring shape processing. Consequently, O2 generates the sorted array of numbers in parallel when the input array of numbers is given, without any delay or lag. Unlike conventional sorting networks, O2 sorting network does not need memory to hold data and information about sorting, and neither need input clock to perform the sorting operations sequentially. We conclude that by using O2 in FPGA-based image processing, we can optimize the performance of filters such as median filter which demands high performance sorting operations for realtime applications.補正完畢國際Langkawi, MalaysiaMY

台灣民眾靈異經驗之研究
本文經由文獻回顧,為當代臺灣民眾的靈異經驗,做一定義:所謂靈異經驗,專指人和鬼、祖先、神直接相遇而發生的事。然後本文分析臺灣社會變遷基本調查的資料。從1994年至2023年,看到靈魂附身在別人身上,數值在12.5%至14.9%之間變動。看到神顯靈,7.7%至10.8%之間。看到鬼,6.7%至11.7%。聽到神跟我說話,5.3%至7.0%。經驗到神明附身,3.1%至5.1%。講天語/方言,2.9%至4.3%。靈魂附身的經驗,1.7%至2.6%。靈動/氣動/聖靈充滿,8.2%至10.3%。其次,2023年的資料顯示,這些靈異變項是高度相關,但至少有一項靈異經驗者,佔全體樣本的22.48%。再者,外省族群在「聽到神跟我說話」、「靈動/氣動/聖靈充滿」和「看到鬼」也有較高的勝算。原住民族群在「看到鬼」此變項,有最高的勝算,是閩南族群勝算的3.8倍。另外,離婚者是比較容易有各種的靈異經驗,尤其在神明和靈魂附身這兩項,有很高的勝算。料理家務且沒有工作者,以及高齡/身心障礙/生病不能工作者也日容易出現神明或靈魂附身。最後,基督宗教在「講天語/方言」、「靈動/氣動/聖靈充滿」、「聽到神跟我說話」、「靈魂附身的經驗」有最高的勝算。「看到神顯靈」有次高的勝算。佛教和神有關的靈異經驗是有最高的勝算,但和鬼有關的變項,勝算為最低。補正完畢國內台北市,台灣TW
