The role of work facilities in moderating the influence of placement on employee performance
Placement and work facilities are the two main pillars in determining employee performance, but research that discusses both is still rare. This research aims to explore the role of work facilities in moderating employee placement on employee performance. This research involved 83 respondents from various fields of work at PT X with the aim of understanding how work placement and facilities influence employee performance. Samples were selected proportionally from various company divisions using probability sampling techniques. The research results show that work placement has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Work facilities were also proven to have a positive and significant effect on performance. However, the hypothesis regarding the role of work facilities as a moderator of the effect of placement on performance was not proven (P value: 0.200). This means that work facilities at PT X do not significantly strengthen or weaken the relationship between placement and employee performance. Practically, these findings can serve as a guide to better understand the factors that influence employee performance and design more effective human resource management strategies
Online newspapers and banner Ads: Understanding advertiser credibility and informative advertising
Rapid growth in online advertising revenues indicates that World Wide Web advertising is viable as an alternative to traditional media. In this new environment, academics and practitioners acknowledge the importance of establishing credibility and providing informative information in commercials. The current study analyzes the effectiveness of banner advertising and examines the impacts of (1) advertiser credibility and (2) informative advertisement on consumer attitudes toward advertisements and brands advertised on the online newspaper website detik.com. A survey of 104 respondents aged 16-35 was conducted using self-administered structured questionnaires. Structural equation modeling was then used to test and refine a model representing correlated relationships among the variables. The findings implied that advertiser credibility and the substance of informative advertising influenced attitudes toward advertising, whereas attitudes toward brands were affected by all variables investigated. For business practitioners, this study suggested that to improve customer attitudes toward advertisements and brands advertised; advertisers should assess the credibility and information delivered in advertisements
Does credit risk management impact the financial performance of commercial banks?
Commercial banks take deposits and lend for consumption and investment purposes. This study examined the impacts of credit risk management on the financial performance of commercial banks, using five (5) first-tier banks in Nigeria as a case study. Fifteen (15) years of panel data (2005 to 2019), extracted from the audited financial reports of five first-tier listed banks, was used for the study. All the banks used are Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. This study used Non-performing loans (NPL) and the expected credit loss impairment provisions (ECL) as credit risk management indicators and Return on assets (ROA) as the financial performance indicator. The long-run co-integration results revealed that NPL negatively and significantly affects ROA in Nigeria, and ECL positively and substantially affects ROA in Nigeria. The findings suggest that credit risk management has insignificant positive impacts on the financial performance of commercial banks in Nigeria. The study recommends that banks undertake thorough credit risk assessments before giving out loans to ensure sound credit risk management, protect depositors\u27 funds, avoid banks\u27 distress, and enhance their profitability

Based on the research results, it is known that social media communications made by companies positively influence brand attitudes. User-generated social media communications positively influence brand equity and brand attitudes. Brand attitude positively affects brand equity. Institutional and individual factors enabling the growth of Lesotho’s MSMEs in the manufacturing sector: Linking industrial and entrepreneurial ecosystems
As a means of seeking more effective ways to curb the unemployment levels in Sub-Saharan countries, governments are beginning to include the development of the manufacturing sector in their country\u27s strategies, and Lesotho is not an exception. This paper aims to determine the role of various institutional and individual factors which when present and collaborating in an entrepreneurial ecosystem can contribute to the successful growth of MSMEs operating in the manufacturing sector. This paper is also aimed at developing a conceptual framework suitable for the growth of these MSMEs in Lesotho by linking concepts of industrial and entrepreneurial ecosystems. This study utilised a qualitative exploratory research approach and data were collected using semi-structured interviews. In total, 12 candidates from government, financial, and educational institutions as well as the media were interviewed. Data were analysed using thematic analysis. The main findings of the study demonstrate that a suitable ecosystem for MSMEs in the manufacturing sector in a country such as Lesotho should consist of policies and regulations that support and encourage financial institutions to assist MSMEs. Government regulated media institutions disseminate regular information relating to existing policies, regulations, and opportunities and educational institutions provide adequate skills and knowledge to enhance an individual’s entrepreneurial alertness, creativity, and innovativeness. An inclusive ecosystem for MSMEs in the manufacturing sector in Lesotho should also involve the collaboration of MSMEs with larger firms and the establishment of independent regulated quality assurance institutions to assure the quality of products and increase customer confidence

Examining the impact of cargo and ancillary revenues on net profit for full service carrier airlines
In this study, the relationships between cargo revenues, ancillary revenues and net profitability of airline companies were examined in the examples of three full-service airline companies (Turkish Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines). Methodologically, a logarithmic econometric model was used in which cargo revenues and ancillary revenues were included as independent variables and net profit as the dependent variables. The data used for the period 2014Q1-2019Q4 were collected from the annual reports on the official websites of related airline companies and The International Air Transport Association (IATA). EViews 10 and STATA-15 versions, which are the most modern econometric analysis programs that can be used to control the stationarity, were used in the analysis of the data. In addition to econometric analyzes and general statistics, Cross Section dependency tests, CADF second-generation unit root tests, Delta slope homogeneity tests, Panel cointegration analysis, Westerlund Panel cointegration tests and Dumitrescu Hurlin Panel Causality tests and Breusch Pagan LM Tests were also performed. The study revealed that there is cointegration between cargo revenues, ancillary revenues and net profit, and there is a one-way causality relationship from both cargo revenues to net profit and from ancillary revenues to net profit. The study also indicated a positive correlation between cargo revenues and ancillary revenues and net profit. In other words, cargo revenues and ancillary revenues have a positive effect on the net profit of airline companies. In addition, the study found that aviation ancillary revenues provide an important resource for airline companies; furthermore, two US companies are among the top three companies with the highest revenues in the world in terms of cargo and ancillary revenues; also showed that Turkish Airlines\u27 ancillary revenues are lower than those of these two US companies. On the other hand, the study showed that the contribution of Turkish Airlines cargo revenues to net profit is much higher than the other two companies
