Using the hype cycle to identify cloud trends
oai:ojs2.acnsci.org:article/58Among the areas of ICT development, cloud technologies are among the most attractive for teachers. This is especially true for students' independent work in the process of distance learning and collaborative educational research, where the possibility of constant contact between students and teacher or supervisor is of paramount importance in order to monitor the quality of the subjects' work in order to make timely adjustments to their activities
Development of an IT project "Logistics" based on cloud technology
Among the ways to improve the quality of training of future IT specialists with higher education, to intensify academic-cognitive and research activities of students, to reveal their creative potential, to increase the role of independent and individual work, to increase their competitiveness in the IT market we can highlight the development of educational IT projects and start-ups using cloud servicesIn order to use innovative ICT in training of future IT specialists, as well as to implement the abovementioned approach, IT project "Logistics" is being developed at Cherkasy State Technological University at the Faculty of Information Technologies and Systems
Classification of attacks on cloud systems
In recent years, computing systems used in management and production have begun to be used for more tasks. At the same time, the speed and performance of a single physical server in some cases is not enough. In such situations, so-called "cloud" servers are created, which are a single virtual server that combines the physical and logical resources of several physical servers. This allows you to create a single powerful virtual system to perform more tasks.Cloud servers is a promising and popular technology nowadays, which also has a number of significant advantages, but it is a more complex system, so in many points more vulnerable than traditional physical servers
Empowering the teacher through cloud technologies
Every teacher today is already a bearer of some information, knowledge, and skills that society needs. Most teachers sell this information through only one or two intermediaries - the university or other institution in which they work. So far, few teachers offer this information in the marketplace through an information product. To solve this problem, cloud technology, widely used by MLM coaches, comes to the rescue
Educational opportunities of the latest Microsoft technologies
The purpose of informatization of vocational education in Ukraine is to improve the quality of training, ensuring the competitiveness of domestic educational institutions, their integration into the world educational space. As noted by V. Bykov, the modern stage of informatization of educational systems is characterized by significant target, content and technological changes occurring both at the level of computer-oriented learning tools and their complexes, and at the level of ICT-means organize and support the learning process. In particular, technological changes include the use of mobile Internet devices, Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, as well as cloud computing technologies, which are becoming basic tools for the learning process. At the same time, the integration of cloud services into professional education is the most urgent psychological and pedagogical problem
Application of cloud technologies in the study of higher mathematics
Under the conditions of Ukraine's transition from an industrial society to an information society and the globalization of the Ukrainian educational space, issues related to the development of cloud technologies in education become relevant. Reformatting the educational link is the restructuring of the learning process.A few years ago, to find out the schedule of classes, you had to go to the university, look for it on the bulletin board and write it in the diary. Today, such a need has disappeared, it can be done from the comfort of home. Using the Internet, you can also consult with a teacher, send him questions; work on a lecture, a practical lesson, for example in higher mathematics: find software packages for the construction of second-order surfaces, choose the best of them and apply them to calculate the volume of the body, finding the circulation or flow of a vector field, etc
Using the Wolfram|Alpha project to teach future mathematics teachers
Among the most significant Internet projects in the field of computer mathematics are the Sage open-source computer mathematics project (http://www.sagemath.org/) and the Wolfram|Alpha project (http://www.WolframAlpha.com), which uses the Mathematica system of computer mathematics. The Wolfram|Alpha project was launched in 2009, and now has an audience of about 17 million users, according to statistics. Wolfram|Alpha is a representative of the family of online directories, so-called knowledge bases. Unlike conventional search engines, such services do not work with external resources, but with its own structured database. In addition, they do not provide a link to the source, but a direct answer to the question posed by the user. In other words, it is a means of so-called factorial search. Wolfram|Alpha features proprietary intelligent query parsing algorithms, strong direct computational capabilities, flexible results display, visualization and illustration tools, and a wide range of data export options
Adaptability of innovative technologies to resource-based teaching of physics
The problems of formation of education and information policy in the conditions of modernization and informatization of education as a factor in the formation of innovation and information society, transformation of rationality in the field of education, representation of knowledge in the educational space, innovation education in the paradigm of information technology attract considerable attention of modern domestic specialists in the philosophy of education. On the plane of education functioning, the solution of the problem of rationality (a kind of "guide to action") is connected, first of all, with the development and implementation of new pedagogical technologies, based on the latest scientific discoveries, on the one hand, and with education management as a system with the determination of its general course of development, on the other hand. Innovative education is focused not so much on knowledge transfer as on mastering basic concepts that allow further acquisition of knowledge independently, and the center of education is the educational potential of an individual person, in relation to which his development takes place
Cloud technologies in the professional training of computer science students
Under the conditions of intensive development of information society, the actual problem is the training of future IT specialists, who should not only maintain the existing level of information technology, but also be ready to use and develop the next generations of computer equipment and information and communication technologies. The peculiarities of training future IT-specialists in universities include the fact that:- domestic and international IT labor market offers many vacancies for IT-specialists, with employers, in addition to high-quality professional training, focus on the ability of computer graduates to learn quickly, the ability to work in a team and communication skills, including Anguillian;- technologies in the sphere of future professional activity of IT-specialists change rapidly, especially software;- Higher education institutions in the training of IT-specialists feel intense competition in the market of educational services from both corporate training in IT-firms, and paid and free courses on current issues in the field of ICT
Integration of education, science and industry on the basis of cloud technologies: world experience
When developing system software tools for research, researchers need access to full-scale distributed data centers. In some countries, such as the United States, Amazon, Google, IBM, and Microsoft services are provided to researchers at the expense of the National Science Foundation budget. However, such programs are focused on application software developers, and the problem of access to such resources has not been solved for specialists in the field of system software development engaged in the creation of hardware and software infrastructures. One of the initiatives to create a cloud infrastructure open to researchers was the OpenCirrus project, aimed at creating an open test bed based on distributed data centers to support developers working in the field of creating application and system clouds
