Exploring cloud technology to create a virtual learning system

    No full text
At the moment, the use of cloud technology is increasingly used in various areas of human activity. Creating a virtual private cloud is no longer a big problem and is used in practice more and more often. At the same time, distance learning systems and online courses and master classes are becoming increasingly popular. With the help of cloud technologies it is possible to organize virtual learning in a modern university. This solution is perfect for part-time students, evening students and full-time students who for various reasons can not attend classes. Conventionally, the solution can be divided into server and client parts

    Cloud technologies in architectural education

    No full text
Informatization of architectural design, in particular the increasing use of specialized CAD and software for static and dynamic visualization of architectural and design projects by architects in their activities requires adequate comprehensive modernization of all components of the methodological system for training future architects at university, which in turn determines the introduction of appropriate changes to the paradigm of higher architectural education. The implementation of modern Information Technologies for Architectural Design into the training process of future architects in university has actualized a number of problematic issues among which the most difficult ones are the necessity of modern computers and software, the need for continuous technical service of hardware, network and software, the appropriate level of professional competence of the teaching staff. These problematic issues require considerable financial resources and are mainly related to the use of traditional methods of teaching higher-education disciplines in the teaching process. At the same time, modern ICTs make it possible to abandon established methodologies to a certain extent and reduce the cost of the software and hardware support for the teaching process. Pedagogical innovation is based on the latest "cloud computing" technology and makes it possible to successfully overcome the above-mentioned difficulties in engaging students in mastering modern network technologies

Organization of the learning process by means of Google Drive at the IT-Academy Vinnytsia

    No full text
The organization of the educational process in Ukraine today requires both speed and quality. The educational process at the  IT-Academy Vinnytsia implies the use of Google Docs in the learning process, completely replacing paper data carriers. For example, in order to effectively conduct interviews, future students are invited to fill out a Google Docs form, the entrance to which is on the website of the institution. Once an applicant fills out the form, he or she is scheduled for an interview. After enrollment, each student gets access to a personal folder, which is located on Google Drive, where they will store their completed homework and other materials related to the learning process

The important role of information technologies is that they not only serve as tools for solving individual pedagogical tasks, but also stimulate the development of didactics and methodology, contribute to the creation of new forms of learning and education. Thus, modern network ICTs are the basis for distance education, the construction of instrumental environments for computer testing and training, and provide for the construction of an intellectual information and educational environment. ICTs provide qualitatively new opportunities for learning, with the development of computer learning tools, teaching methodology is also changing: new opportunities appear, new approaches - teaching becomes more communicative and modern. The computer helps to organize students' work on a qualitatively new level and make learning more appealing to today's youth

Possibilities of using cloud technologies in interactive e-learning courses

    No full text
The development of electronic courses in mathematical disciplines requires the use of the latest information technology. Information and communication network services are actively used for informatization of the educational process. The most relevant in the market of information and communication technologies is the SaaS (software as a service) model focused on providing services through the Internet. At this stage of development, the relevant concept is the use of cloud computing. In the context of building an e-course, the concept of "internal cloud" or in other words, the deployment model - "private cloud" is relevant: an infrastructure that involves the use of resources within the HEI by several consumers, namely teachers, students and administration. This concept raises the issue of using third-party software

Introduction of cloud computing technologies into the educational process of higher maritime educational institutions

According to the Law of Ukraine "About the bases of development of information society in Ukraine for 2007-2015" one of the priority directions of state policy is the development of information society in Ukraine and implementation of the newest information and communication technologies in all spheres of social life. The use of the newest information and communication technologies, mobile services and World Wide Web in the educational process of the higher school was a necessary condition for the training of a competent specialist and his successful realization as a navigator in the conditions of informatization of society. At a time when purchase and maintenance of modern powerful equipment and software requires significant financial expenses for higher education institution, cloud computing becomes a worthy alternative

Mobile mathematical environments as a means of cloud technologies

In the last few years, a new concept of electronic data processing based on cloud computing information technology has been developed in the field of information technology. According to the definition of P. Mell and T. Grens, "cloud computing is a model of providing a service for network access to a common pool of computing (computer) resources (such as network, servers, data storage, software applications, data processing services, etc.) that can be flexibly configured to the different needs of the user and provided with minimal management effort on his part or interaction with the service provider. Cloud computing is gradually entering all areas of society, including education. According to the national project "Open world", which is planned to be realized during 2010-2014 under the aegis of the State agency of Ukraine on investments and management of national projects, informatization of the Ukrainian educational system should be provided on the basis of the cloud computing concept

Cloud computing as the basis for mobile learning

Mobile technology in the educational process, mobile learning is no longer new - it is widely used in many educational institutions. Mobile learning offers many advantages: we are free from the institution, schedule, time, geographically. But there are a number of disadvantages that still make it unproductive to work with a mobile device, viz:- limited memory capacity;- The minimal computing power of a mobile device compared to a desktop PC;- limited or backed-down capabilities of editors (text, tabular, etc.);- lack of necessary software for a certain mobile operating system (platform);- limited ability to test and support web applications;- inability to create a virtualized workplace;- lack of ability to install the necessary operating system to test the software product

About the educational environment of a cloud platform for managing and modeling a variable structure in sliding mode

Poltava National Pedagogical University and Astrakhan State University as a part of the consortium, prepared a joint application for the competition of joint Russian-Ukrainian initiative projects on the theme: "Variable structures and control in sliding modes on the platform of cloud applications for virtual modeling and design of new composite materials of multifunctional purpose". The project proposes for the first time the design of new composite materials for multifunctional purposes to be elevated to a cloud application platform where variable structures are modeled and controlled in sliding mode. The created cross-platform cloud application platform based on human-avatar oriented interface of new generation virtual modeling with cyber-physical design of control and modeling systems will be enough for practical use in scientifically grounded design of composite materials of multifunctional purpose

The declaration "Education for Innovative Societies in the 21st Century", adopted at the G8 Summit in St. Petersburg in 2006, states the unsatisfactory state of education in the world. The declaration proposes measures for the universalization of education systems, the formation of a global innovation society, increasing international academic mobility, the development of life and work skills, and creating a unified global information network. In general, it should be noted that not much progress has been made in the field of education reform so far, and the main problem is that the declared goals are not supported by a workable mechanism for their implementation. In the field of economics and business, such a universal mechanism is logistics
