Forming the informational and educational environment of the vocational school by means of blogs

    No full text
The almost unlimited potential of blogs as a teaching tool has the potential to spark an explosion of innovative projects, partnerships, and methods in vocational education and training. The ease with which blogs print researched material for presentation on the Internet makes them an ideal tool for attracting new participants to study groups and creating educational and professional societies that go beyond the traditional walls of vocational schools, i.e. an information and educational environment is formed

Using cloud technologies to enhance students' independent work

Improving the quality of higher education today involves abandoning the transfer of knowledge from the teacher to the student in ready-made form. It is necessary to transform a future specialist from a passive consumer of knowledge into an active searcher of knowledge, who can formulate a problem, analyze the ways of its solution, find the best result and prove its correctness. Strengthening the role of students' independent work means a fundamental revision of the educational process organization at a higher education institution, which should be built so as to develop the ability to learn, form a student's ability for self-development, creative application of acquired knowledge, teach ways of adapting to professional activities in the modern computerized world. Independent activity is one of the most accessible and reliable ways of improving the effectiveness of learning and enhancing the learning process

Using cloud services in training for Intel's Learning for the Future program

At Kryvyi Rih National University trainings based on the Intel "Learning for the Future" program have been held for six consecutive years. A significant part of the projects on school mathematics topics developed by 4th year students of the specialty "Mathematics" is placed in e-learning courses, in particular, from the school geometry course (access mode: http://kdpu.edu.ua/moodle).On the program version 3 participants created 16 basic portfolio documents using the toolkit of local programs Microsoft Office. Under the new version - 10.1, recommended on the official website of the program (iteach.com.ua), for the creation of 13 mandatory documents is assumed the possibility of using the tools of the network office package as a cloud service. In addition, participants are trained to provide support for the developed project at the stage of its implementation on wiki pages, pages of sites and blogs, for the creation and publication of which it is assumed to use automated means

Approximate private cloud model in teaching higher mathematics

Despite the fact that the availability of ICT tools in the Ukrainian educational system has grown rapidly over the past decade, however, there is a small percentage of higher mathematics teachers in technical universities who are focused on making full use of the opportunities offered by modern computer-oriented teaching tools. This is due to the fact that a large proportion of teachers simply do not understand how ICTs can enhance the effectiveness of teaching. To a large extent, this also applies to the introduction of innovative teaching methods based on cloud technology.According to experts, the direction of informatization of education, which consists in the implementation of cloud computing technology, is extremely promising today

Today, cloud technology is growing in popularity in various areas of human activity. Cloud technology is providing the user with the ability to use programs, services, and disk space remotely via the Internet. All this significantly simplifies human life and does not overload a home computer or a mobile device with excessive heavy information. The use of cloud technologies in education significantly reduces the demands on the resources of personal computers

Cloud technologies in problem-based learning in computer science disciplines

The modern system of professional training of future technology teachers involves the use of many computer-oriented learning technologies. Among them, today, the use of "cloud" technologies deserves attention, allowing to place educational materials, electronic libraries and editorial offices, websites, presentations, archives, e-mail reports, etc. on the virtual server of the educational institution and provide remote access to them. This technology also makes it possible to place and execute programs used in the educational process on virtual servers, as well as to store the results of the execution of these programs

Trends in the development of big technologies determine the growth of their role in the development of mankind. This necessitates the modernization of the educational and scientific environment of a higher education institution in order to bring it in line with the modern level of science and technology development. It is cloud technology, which is now the most advanced technology of the information society itself, can play the role of the leading instrument of informatization of higher education

Current educational processes are unthinkable without the use of information technology. This demand for them forces educational institutions to constantly increase the financial cost of purchasing and maintaining hardware and software. The problem can be partially helped by cloud services, which under certain conditions allow you to save money by directing them only to pay for cloud services, and in the case of using free services - mainly for the educational process.Already now, cloud providers offer quite reliable services to educational institutions for free or for a small fee. The most active providers of cloud services for education globally are Google and Microsoft. They provide educational institutions with a number of free communication tools, such as email, task manager, data storage, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, etc

Using a private cloud based on the ProxmoxVE distribution in the educational process

Training specialists in computer science requires the formation of students, in addition to theoretical knowledge, modern practical knowledge and skills. However, the performance of some practical tasks in general use laboratories can lead to temporary incapacitation of both individual workstations and the laboratory as a whole. The use of virtualization systems in the educational process allows full access of students to operating systems without the risk of incapacitation of PCs. Deployment of private clouds based on ProxmoxVE distribution ensures that computer science students learn cloud technologies on their own equipment of a higher education institution, which reduces hardware costs and increases the reliability of support for the learning process

Modern society with its constant development, gravitation to the processes of globalization requires an increase in the level of automation of all information processes, including in the field of education.Over the past few years we have seen a growing interest of scientists and IT specialists in the Software as a Service model. SaaS should be considered a particular case of the more general service-oriented software architecture, which actually defines that software components act as common services and can be used independently or recombined in other programs
