    Efektivitas Sari Katuk dan Tomat terhadap Berat Badan dan Persen Lemak Tubuh Siswi Overweight

    Abstract—Overweight is a condition of excessive fat accumulation that results in excess body weight, which can affect health. Overweight in adolescents is a major health problem in society in both developed and developing countries. The prevalence of overweight in East Java reached 11.3%, higher than the national data of 8%. The effects of overweight include obesity, chronic diseases, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and others. This research method uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach with a control group design, which is divided into three groups: the control group, treatment group 1 (P1), and treatment group 2 (P2). The sampling technique used was total sampling with 30 samples. Body weight was measured before and after treatment in all groups. The treatment groups received 150 ml of Katuk and tomato juice in ratios P1 (0.5:0.75) and P2 (1:1.5) for 14 days. The statistical test results showed that the body weight of the treatment group (P1 = 0.019) and (P2 = 0.000), while the body fat percentage (P1 = 0.005) and (P2 = 0.000), which means there is an effect. Giving katuk and tomato leaf juice effectively reduces body weight and fat percentage. Treatment group 2 (P2) as the most effective dose in reducing body weight and body fat percentage in overweight students at MAN 1 Banyuwangi.  Keywords: overweight, katuk leaves, tomato   Abstrak—Overweight merupakan kondisi penimbunan lemak berlebih yang menyebabkan kelebihan berat badan yang menganggu kesehatan. Overweight pada remaja menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang besar di masyarakat baik di negara maju maupun negara berkembang. Prevalensi kejadian overweight di Jawa Timur mencapai 11,3% lebih tinggi daripada data nasional sebesar 8%. Dampak overweight yaitu menyebabkan obesitas, penyakit kronis, diabetes melitus tipe 2, dan lain-lain. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment dengan pretest-posttest with control group design yang terbagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol, kelompok perlakuan 1 (P1) dan kelompok perlakuan 2 (P2). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan 30 sampel. Semua kelompok diukur berat badan dan persen lemak tubuh sebelum dan setelah diberi perlakuan. Kelompok perlakuan diberikan 150 ml sari katuk dan tomat dengan ratio P1 (0,5:0,75) sedangkan P2 (1:1,5) selama 14 hari. Hasil uji statistik diketahui berat badan kelompok perlakuan (P1 = 0,019) dan (P2 = 0,000) sedangkan persen lemak tubuh (P1 = 0,005) dan (P2 = 0,000) yang berarti terdapat pengaruh. Pemberian sari katuk dan tomat efektif dalam menurunkan berat badan dan persen lemak tubuh. Kelompok perlakuan 2 (P2) menjadi dosis paling efektif dalam menurunkan berat badan dan persen lemak tubuh pada siswi overweight di MAN 1 Banyuwangi. Kata kunci: overweight, katuk, toma

    The Isoflavone Contents of Devon 1 Soybeans during Fermentation and Processing into Soybean-Tempeh Steamed Buns

    Abstract—The soybean Devon 1 variety is a superior variety developed in Indonesia. The isoflavone content makes this soybean a top choice for a functional food. However, fermenting soybeans into tempeh and processing them into other products can affect the final isoflavone content. The objective of this study was to analyze the total isoflavone and its derivatives content in Devon 1 soybeans, soybean tempeh, soybean tempeh flour, and buns made from tempeh flour. The content of each isoflavone type was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography at λ249 and λ260 nm wavelengths. The buns were made from tempeh flour with variations of tempeh flour substitution of 0, 10, 20, and 30%. The results showed that the fermentation of Devon 1 soybeans and further processing of tempeh significantly altered the isoflavone components and content. The concentrations of daidzin and genistin in tempeh were decreased, while daidzein and genistein were increased. Further processing of tempeh into flour increased all isoflavone levels significantly, which might be caused by the isoflavone transformation during drying and enzymatic activity. Substitution of wheat flour with soybean tempeh flour increased these four isoflavones content of the buns. Therefore, tempeh flour made from Devon 1 soybeans has the potential to be used as a functional food ingredient rich in bioactive compounds that promote health. Kandungan isoflavonnya menjadikan kedelai ini sebagai pilihan utama untuk pembuatan pangan fungsional. Namun, proses fermentasi kedelai menjadi tempe, serta pengolahan lebih lanjut menjadi berbagai produk turunan dapat memengaruhi kandungan akhir isoflavonnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kandungan total isoflavon dan turunannya pada kedelai Devon 1, tempe kedelai, tepung tempe kedelai, serta bakpao yang dibuat dari tepung tempe. Kandungan masing-masing jenis isoflavon diuji menggunakan kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi pada panjang gelombang λ249 dan λ260 nm. Adapun bakpao dibuat dari tepung tempe dengan variasi substitusi tepung tempe sebesar 0, 10, 20, dan 30%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fermentasi kedelai Devon 1 dan pengolahan tempe lebih lanjut secara signifikan mengubah komponen dan kandungan isoflavon. Kandungan daidzin dan genistin dalam tempe menurun, sedangkan kandungan daidzein dan genisteinnya mengalami peningkatan. Pengolahan tempe menjadi tepung lebih lanjut meningkatkan seluruh kandungan isoflavon secara signifikan, yang kemungkinan disebabkan oleh transformasi isoflavon selama proses pengeringan dan aktivitas enzimatis. Substitusi tepung terigu dengan tepung tempe meningkatkan kandungan keempat jenis isoflavon pada bakpao. Dengan demikian, tepung tempe kedelai Devon 1 berpotensi digunakan sebagai bahan pangan fungsional yang kaya akan senyawa bioaktif untuk menunjang kesehatan.     OPTIMIZING SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIES TO ENHANCE CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT: A CASE STUDY OF PT ICONNET (ICON+)

    In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, social media has become a crucial tool for businesses seeking to build lasting relationships with their customers. This study investigates the role of social media in enhancing customer engagement at PT ICONNET (ICON+), a broadband internet service provider and subsidiary of PT PLN, amidst the fierce competition in Indonesia’s telecommunications market. Despite having strong infrastructure support from PLN, PT ICONNET faces significant challenges in optimizing its social media strategies, which impacts customer interaction and loyalty. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, including interviews, observations, and document analysis, this research identifies both the internal and external factors that influence the company’s social media effectiveness. The findings highlight the strengths of PT ICONNET, such as its reliable infrastructure and public sector reputation, but also reveal key weaknesses, including slow decision-making, inconsistent content strategy, and evolving social media algorithms. Based on SWOT, IFAS, and EFAS analyses, the study proposes strategies for improving engagement, such as content optimization, leveraging new social media features, and enhancing the digital team's capabilities. Given the    urgency of adapting to the digital demands of today’s consumers, the study concludes that PT ICONNET must adopt a more data-driven and adaptive social media strategy. This will help the company foster stronger customer connections, improve brand loyalty, and solidify its competitive edge in Indonesia’s dynamic ISP industry

    STUDI PENDAHULUAN PENGGUNAAN VIRTUAL REALITY TERHADAP PERUBAHAN QUALITY OF LIFE (QOL) PADA PENDERITA INSOMNIA DI UNIVERSITAS SURABAYA

    Abstract—Background: Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep with a minimum duration of symptoms of 1 month. A body that does not get quality sleep can affect a person's physical, mental health, thinking and daily functioning. This can cause a decrease in the quality of life of insomnia sufferers. Objective: To determine the effect of using VR therapy on changes in quality of life and sleep quality in insomnia sufferers. Methodology: This research uses a true-experimental type of research using a one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample in this study consisted of 30 respondents selected using non-probability sampling techniques and purposive sampling methods. Results: Based on the results of the paired t test and Wilcoxon test for the four domains, it shows a p-value <0.001 which indicates a significant change between the pre-test and post-test in the quality of life of University of Surabaya students. Test results also indicated improvements in sleep quality after the intervention. Conclusion: There are indications of changes in quality of life and quality of sleep after being given VR intervention, characterized by an increase in quality of life and a decrease in the severity of sleep quality for University of Surabaya students aged 18-22 years. Tubuh yang tidak mendapatkan tidur yang berkualitas dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan fisik, mental, pemikiran, dan fungsi keseharian seseorang. Hal ini bisa menyebabkan penurunan kualitas hidup penderita insomnia. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan terapi VR terhadap perubahan kualitas hidup dan kualitas tidur pada penderita insomnia. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian true-experimental dengan menggunakan desain one group pre-test and post-test. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 30 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik non-probability sampling dan metode purposive sampling. Pada akhir penelitian dilakukan uji statistik wilcoxon, uji t berpasangan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perubahan signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji t berpasangan dan uji wilcoxon keempat domain menunjukkan p-value <0,001 yang mengindikasikan adanya perubahan signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test kualitas hidup mahasiswa Universitas Surabaya. Hasil uji juga mengindikasikan perbaikan kualitas tidur setelah intervensi. Kesimpulan: Terdapat indikasi perubahan kualitas hidup dan kualitas tidur setelah diberikan intervensi VR ditandai dengan peningkatan kualitas hidup dan penurunan tingkat keparahan kualitas tidur mahasiswa Universitas Surabaya usia 18-22 tahun.     Abstract—This study aims to determine the effect of logistics service quality, namely personnel contact quality, timeliness, order conditions, order discrepancy handling, and operational information sharing on customer satisfaction among Shopee Express courier service   users in Surabaya. This research method uses a questionnaire with a total of 180 respondents in Surabaya who have used Shopee Express in the last 6 months. The regression model in this study is SEM (Structural Equation Model) with AMOS 23 software. The results of this study indicate that the variables of personnel contact quality, timeliness, order condition, order discrepancy handling, and operational information sharing have an effect on customer satisfaction.     Development of A Self Nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery System for Atenolol using Soybean Oil, Olive Oil and Virgin Coconut Oil

    Oral formulations remain the primary method of drug delivery, however, the solubility and lipophilicity of compounds such as atenolol present significant obstacles. Atenolol, a β1-selective antihypertensive agent, exhibits limited solubility in both aqueous and gastrointestinal environments. Atenolol is developed in a lipid-based delivery system, specifically the Self-Nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery System (SNEDDS), to enhance its bioavailability and resolve this issue. SNEDDS can improve drug solubility by generating spontaneous nanoemulsions in the gastrointestinal tract. This study aims to evaluate and improve the main components of SNEDDS, specifically oil, surfactant, and co-surfactant, according to the parameters of % transmittance, polydispersity index (PI), and zeta potential. The research findings suggest that the nine formulas have not yet achieved the optimal attributes concerning clarity and durability against dilution. Differences in oil types and amounts of surfactants and cosurfactants influence droplet size, polydispersity index, and zeta potential.     Optimization of Papaya Leaf Extract Cream Using Stearic Acid and Triethanolamine via Simplex Lattice Design

    Papaya leaves (Carica papaya L.) are known to contain bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, and saponins, which exhibit antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial properties, making them promising for topical pharmaceutical preparations. However, achieving optimal physical characteristics in cream formulations requires careful selection and proportioning of emulsifiers. This study investigates the effect of varying ratios of stearic acid and triethanolamine on the physical properties of creams containing ethanol-extracted papaya leaf extract. The extract was obtained via maceration using 96% ethanol and confirmed to contain active compounds through phytochemical screening and thin-layer chromatography. Eight formulations were developed using a Simplex Lattice Design (SLD) with stearic acid concentrations ranging from 15–17% and triethanolamine from 2–4%. Physical evaluations included tests for pH, viscosity, adhesion, and spreadability. All formulations met standard of cream quality requirements, but the optimal formula was identified at 15.20% stearic acid and 3.79% triethanolamine, offering the most desirable physical characteristics.     BUSINESS STRATEGY INSIGHTS FROM HER HAVEN: A FEMALE-FOCUSED GUEST HOUSE IN JAKARTA

    The increasing demand for safe and exclusive accommodations among female travellers highlights a significant gap in the hospitality industry, particularly in urban centers like Jakarta. Her Haven Guest House aims to address this need by offering women-only lodging that prioritizes safety, comfort, and personalized experiences. This study analyses the marketing strategies required to establish Her Haven Guest House as a leading provider in this niche market. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, observations, and secondary data analysis to assess consumer preferences and market dynamics. Primary data was gathered through an online survey of 165 women aged 21-54 in the Greater Jakarta area, revealing a strong preference for women-only accommodations. The study applies the 8Ps marketing mix framework—Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Packaging, Programming, and Partnerships—to develop actionable strategies for the guest house. Additionally, a SWOT analysis identifies key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, guiding strategic recommendations. The findings indicate that Her Haven Guest House can leverage its unique concept and strategic location to attract female travellers seeking security and exclusivity. The results highlight the importance of digital marketing, loyalty programs, and themed events in building brand awareness and customer loyalty. Furthermore, the study provides insights into managerial strategies to enhance service quality and policy recommendations for government support in promoting inclusive tourism. By addressing the specific needs of female travellers, Her Haven Guest House has the potential to contribute to the broader landscape of sustainable and inclusive hospitality

    PENGARUH MARKETPLACE, PRICING, KUALITAS DAN INOVASI PRODUK TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENDAPATAN UMKM SURABAYA PASCA PANDEMI COVID-19

    The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken the economies of almost all countries, including Indonesia. The use of marketplace technology is one way to make MSMEs survive, especially during a pandemic that requires all activities to take place online or without face-to-face contact. This study aims to determine the effect of marketplace, pricing, quality and product innovation on increasing MSME income in the Surabaya Region after the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is quantitative with primary data. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling technique so that the results obtained were more relevant to the research title. The sample obtained was 104 respondents in accordance with the research criteria. Researchers used the help of WarpPLS version 8.0 software using the PLS-SEM model. The research results show that Marketplace has an impact on increasing MSME income, but pricing, quality, and product innovation do not have an impact or no effect

    Penjaminan SHMSRS pada Hak Guna Bangunan di Atas Tanah Hak Pengelolaan oleh Orang Asing

    In realizing a welfare state, Indonesia’s government must manage land as part of the earth properly. As is known, land is fixed and does not increase in area meanwhile the population continues to increase. Therefore, it’s necessary to build and arrange flats. In normative juridical terms, flats can be built on HGB over HPL land. Ownership of the flat is proven by SHMSRS, furthermore SHMSRS owners are only those who are designated as holders of land rights. In accordance with UUPA, holders of HGB over HPL land consist of Indonesian citizens and Indonesian legal entities. This regulation of the UUPA is a reference for the Condominium Law and the Mortgage Rights Law. The problem is that with the promulgation of the UUCK, foreigners are regulated to have the right to own SHMSRS on HGB over HPL land, giving rise to conflicting norms between UUCK and UUPA, the Condominium Law, the Mortgage Rights Law, and the principle of nationality that all applies in Indonesia. This research is based on normative research methods as well as statutory regulations and conceptual approaches with data sources and types of primary and secondary legal materials. Through the research, it shows that these conflicting norms result in the absence of legal certainty regarding the ownership of flats in HGB over HPL land which mutatis mutandis creates legal uncertainty in SHMSRS guarantees needs to be solved by using the legal principle. Nevertheless, in fact, there is still legality in guaranteeing SHMSRS on HGB over HPL by foreigners
