Analyzing the Sharia Cooperatives Efficiency in Aceh Province, Indonesia
This study analyzes the efficiency level and the factors that influence the efficiency of Sharia cooperatives in 16 districts/cities in the Aceh province during the 2020-2022 period. The Data Envelopment Analysis method uses input, namely business capital and Islamic cooperatives\u27 assets and Sharia cooperative operations\u27 remaining annual income as the output. The findings show that Sharia cooperatives in Aceh Province are not fully efficient. Several things can influence the efficiency level of Sharia cooperatives. One is that every Sharia cooperative unit in Aceh Province has not recorded reports properly and correctly. It is because Sharia cooperatives in Aceh Province are still relatively new. Therefore, it is necessary to increase efficiency in using good inputs and outputs to produce the efficiency of Sharia cooperatives in Aceh Province
Investigating the Factors that Influence Repurchase Intention through Customer Satisfaction during COVID-19 Pandemic in Indonesia
The COVID-19 virus has interrupted economic activities, including buying and selling; even some branded shops, supermarkets, and small shops in Indonesia had to close amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The food and beverage industry, such as Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), still buys and sells during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, this study investigates the factors influencing repurchase intention through customer satisfaction during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Indonesia at KFC Sei Semayang, Medan Binjai City, Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach from respondents\u27 responses with a questionnaire as an analytical tool. This study used SEM (Structured Equation Model) analysis and was processed through the Smart-PLS 4.0 program. The sample in this study was 100 respondents who had purchased KFC in Sei Semayang. The findings revealed a positive relationship between the marketing mix and service quality, a significant effect on customer satisfaction, a positive relationship between the marketing mix and service quality, a significant effect on repurchase intention, and a positive relationship between the marketing mix and satisfaction. These findings show that KFC in Sei Semayang consider a few elements that can increase customer satisfaction and encourage them to keep buying KFC products. In this study, the dominant factor from the physical appearance aspect is the health protocol carried out during the pandemic, the reliability aspect is the presentation of clean and hygienic food, the taste aspect is a varied menu variation, the attention aspect is top of mind KFC products, the price aspect is the affordability of KFC products, and on the responsive aspect, food is prepared quickly
The Effect of Motivation, Commitment and Work Discipline to Optimize the Regional Income: Mediating Role of Organizational Behavior
Recently, income inequality in urban areas has increased sharply compared to rural areas, which is closely related to the economic downturn in the Riau Islands caused by the decline in the manufacturing industry sector which is generally located in urban areas. In the Regional Tax and Levy Management Agency of the Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. A total of 330 respondents representing the Riau Islands Provincial Government. Slovin formula is used to get the requirements to be sampled as many as 180 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. The software used for structural analysis is AMOS-24. The results indicated that commitment, motivation and work discipline have a significant positive effect on organizational behavior. Also, commitment and motivation have a significant positive effect on optimizing regional income. Besides that, work discipline does not affect optimizing regional income. In addition, organizational behavior has a significant positive effect on the optimizing regional income. This study also found that studied variables (exogenous) have contributed in explaining its relationship on organizational behavior is 91.18 percent and regional original income is 99.9 percent. It means that changes in regional original income is influenced by motivation, commitment, work discipline, and organizational behavior. In this study, we prove that there is a problem with the effect of the work discipline variable on the optimizing regional income variable is significantly positive
The Effect of Foreign Direct Investment and Foreign Exchange Reserves on Economic Growth in ASEAN Countries
This study aims to examine the effect of foreign direct investment (FDI) and foreign exchange reserves on economic growth in ASEAN countries during the 1995-2021 period. Estimation results on modeling Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) show that in the long run foreign exchange reserves have a significant positive relationship with economic growth whereas FDI in the long run has no effect on economic growth. The short-run estimation results show that foreign exchange reserves have no effect on economic growth, while FDI in the short run has a significant positive relationship with economic growth. FDI and foreign exchange reserves need to be increased in ASEAN countries to encourage economic growth
The Effect of Workload, Supervisor, and Coworker Supports on Job Performance through Job Satisfaction
Job satisfaction and employee performance need special attention from the organization because the better it is expected to impact organizational performance positively. Thus, this study examines the effect of workload variables, coworker and supervisor support on job satisfaction and work performance at PT. REA Kaltim Plantations. This study uses a quantitative approach through a survey questionnaire on 150 permanent staff of PT. REA. The data were collected through the census method and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square assisted by Warp-PLS. The result indicates that employee performance is affected by workload. Besides that, the workload has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Also, this study found that supervisor supports positively and significantly affects job satisfaction. Next, coworker support positively and significantly affects work performance. In addition, coworker support positively and significantly affects job satisfaction. Next, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on job performance. In conclusion, this study has successfully examined the factors influencing job satisfaction and performance. Also, this study concludes that workload affects employee work performance. Giving employees more work in a way that does not overwhelm them can improve their performance. Employees are given workloads that improve performance according to their abilities, do not provide excessive tasks, ensure comfort, demand completion of tasks as needed, and have the necessary skills
The Effect of Competence, Compensation, Workload, and Work Motivation toward Employee Performance
In today\u27s era of competition, every company must develop and improve the performance of its employees. Many factors are involved in improving company performance. One of the important factors that the company must consider in achieving its goals is the human resource (HR) factor. This quantitative study involved as many as 140 staff of PT. PLN (Persero) UIP Sumbagut. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including multiple linear regression. The result shows that competence and compensation significantly and negatively affect employee performance. Besides that, the workload significantly and positively affects employee performance. Also, this study found that compensation significantly and positively affects work motivation. In addition, the workload negatively and significantly affects work motivation. The motivation variable has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, and the competence variable negatively affects employee performance. Also, the compensation variable has a significant negative effect on employee performance. The workload Work motivation does not mediate the relationship between competence, compensation, and workload on employee performance. In conclusion, this study has examined the mediating role of motivation and found that its variable does not play a significant role in the relationship between competence, compensation, and workload on employee performance
The Relationship of Executive’s Leadership Skills in 21st Century towards Staff’s Work Performance in Thailand
This study investigates the 21st century leadership skills of executives and their relation to the work performance of staff. A sample of 30 staff members was selected using simple random sampling, and two questionnaires were used to collect data on leadership skills and work performance. The reliability of the questionnaires was established at 0.87 and 0.89, respectively. The statistical method used for data analysis included descriptive statistics, such as mean and standard deviation, and Pearson\u27s correlation. The findings revealed that the 21st century leadership skills of executives were overall at a high level, with the highest average scores obtained in the planning and directing skills and creativity, followed by communication, technology, and information. However, decision-making and problem-solving skills and team building skills received the lowest average scores. On the other hand, the development of work performance of staff was also overall at a high level, with the highest average score obtained in the performance aspect, and the lowest average score in the relationship with the community. Furthermore, the results indicated a positive moderate-level correlation between the 21st century leadership skills of executives and the development of work performance of staff at a statistically significant level of 1 percent
Analyzing the Effect of Organizational Commitment, Spiritual Motivation and Spiritual Leadership on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction
Organizational commitment has become a topic of discussion in various literatures, such as the public sector literature (non-profit sector) and the private sector, which are generally profit-oriented (profit orientation). These are listed in various kinds of literature, for example, industrial and organizational psychology literature on education, theology, health, hospitality, social workers, and medicine using processed data using SEM with Amos version 24 software, the sample of respondents is 165. The results indicated that organizational commitment, spiritual motivation, and leadership significantly positively affect employee job satisfaction. Also, this study found that employee satisfaction, organizational commitment, and spiritual motivation significantly positively affect employee performance. Besides that, spiritual leadership does not significantly affect employee performance. In conclusion, this study has successfully examined the effect of organizational commitment, spiritual motivation, and spiritual leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction

The great resignation is an unprecedented labour force phenomenon that has garnered significant attention in contemporary employment dynamics. This multifaceted phenomenon, characterised by an exodus of employees from their current positions, has initiated a profound transformation in the work landscape. The paramount concern of this research endeavour is to elucidate the intricate relationship between the Great Resignation and its consequential impact on work-life balance. A compelling exploration of the shifting priorities of the modern workforce is paramount to understanding the underlying dynamics of this phenomenon, especially in light of the profound influence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Central to this examination is an in-depth analysis of the concept of work-life balance itself. By scrutinising the varying definitions and perceptions of work-life balance, we aim to unveil the underpinnings of this critical construct. Also, the study delves into the emergence of hybrid work models as potential solutions to the challenges posed by the Great Resignation. Employers, recognising the significance of work-life balance as a pivotal driver of employee retention, have begun to implement strategies and adaptations to address the evolving needs of their workforce. This study scrutinises the measures taken by organisations to facilitate work-life balance and explores their efficacy. Complementing this, we scrutinise the expectations and demands of employees in the post-Great Resignation landscape, shedding light on the pivotal role of benefits and perks in influencing workplace choices. Lastly, the research offers a forward-looking perspective on the future of work-life balance, envisioning the contours of post-pandemic work culture and predicting long-term implications stemming from this seismic labour market shift
Analysis of Government Rice Absorption in Indonesia
This study analyzes the government\u27s absorption of rice in Indonesia. The government\u27s rice absorption has decreased in the last three years (2018-2020). The decrease in absorption is in line with the decline in farmer production and the difference between the government\u27s purchase price of rice and the market price. The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the difference between government rice prices and market prices (PBR) and the amount of rice production circulating in the community (JPB) on the government\u27s rice absorption capacity (DBP) in 34 Indonesian Provinces for the 2011-2020 period. Regression results with the Panel Model show that (PBR) and (JPB) have a significant positive effect on (DBP). Government policies and roles are urgently needed, especially in setting purchase prices for government rice and sustainably increasing the amount of production by facilitating agricultural facilities and infrastructure so that they can affect the government\u27s rice absorption capacity in Indonesia
