    Get PDF
Autism is a developmental disorder that affects communication and interaction ability negatively. There has been an increase in its prevalence in current statistics. Consequently, NASOM teachers have also increased the need to teach children with autism. The purpose of this study is to investigate how autism teachers in NASOM can improve their education strategies in terms of knowledge, formation, and competences. The study\u27s location is in Malaysia. The research data were obtained by means of the questionnaire quantitatively. 55 teacher interviews who teach autistic children in NASOM received the questionnaires. Issues were divided into sections like knowledge and competence. They showed, however, an interest in taking advanced courses to increase their skills strategies for autistic children. There is thus a need to improve training of trainers (ToT) and the module by adding more autism components. NASOM teachers also had to be given access to autism training because autism learning has progressed, and several scientifically effective strategies are now available. Several proposals were proposed by the researchers to improve the studies, training, skills, and ToT course presences of autistic students. Analysis was again analysed using t-test, correlation and Regression using SPSS version 20 software for the raw data obtained. The results showed that with their presence at the ToT course there was a difference in knowledge, training, and competency. The ToT course has been found to be effective but still the strategies teaching autistic children need to improve since the results showed moderate and low

    Get PDF
This study aims to determine the effect of using a virtual laboratory on student learning outcomes in Kirchhoff\u27s law material at the physics education study program at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar T.A. 2020/2021 by utilizing a virtual laboratory. This type of research is a true experiment with the research sample, namely the physics education study program group A as the experimental class and group B as the control class. The research instrument test was composed of 20 multiple-choice questions, the content validity was tested by a team of experts as validators as many as 2 people and student activity observation sheets. From the data analysis, the average post-test value for the experimental class was 78.46 with a standard deviation of 11.25 and the average post-test value for the control class was 66.50 with a standard deviation of 13.78. Normality and homogeneity tests at the level of =0.05 stated normal and homogeneous and one-party hypothesis testing t-stat > t-table (2.99> 1.67). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of a virtual laboratory can improve student learning outcomes in the basic physics practical subject of Kirchoff la

Analysing the Quality of Traditional Shipbuilding Production Processes through Integration of Ergonomics and Lean Six Sigma in West Aceh, Indonesia

    Get PDF
This study analyses the quality process using the integration of ergonomic and lean six sigma in the DMAIC cycle at CV. Wahana Karya shipyard. The ergonomic uses RULA tools while lean six sigma uses SIPOC diagram tools, current stream mapping, DPOM, Pareto diagrams, cause, and effect diagrams and FMEA. The improvement stage is recommendations for improvement through the highest RPN in the FMEA analysis and recommendations for improving ergonomics from work posture. The control stage is the supervision of the recommended improvements. The result indicates that there are 7 work postures that cause a decrease in quality where one of the risks of high work postures is in wood cutting activities with recommendations for improvement, namely designing ergonomic wood forming and cutting tools, on lean six sigma, recommendations for improving process quality are obtained based on analysis of FMEA tools for installing Advanced hull boards are tenuous hull boards with an RPN value of 384 with recommendations for improvement, namely replacing a new clamp press tool that is easy to install. Meanwhile, in the process of installing the ivory with an advanced level, which is not according to the size of the RPN 336 value, the recommendation for improvement is to make clear and written SOPs and work guidelines

    Get PDF
This study aims to identify the actual conditions of the current operational practices of the One Tambon One Product (OTOP) and the actual sales and income. This research summarizes and classifies the existing practices concerning different groups of OTOP products and presents empirical evidence on how and what practices correspond to the actual business performance. This research adopted correspondence analysis as a data analysis and visualization tool to summarize and present if clusters or relationships exist among categorical variables of OTOP groups, operation practices and their revenue performances. The results can then be used to define the right set of operations on the OTOP group for the Thai government to develop a supporting policy

This study determines the effect of sharia bank financing, sharia mutual funds, sharia shares and Sukuk on Indonesia\u27s economic growth in the long and short term and analyzes the balanced relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable using the ARDL method. Stationarity testing using the Augmented Dickey-Fuller Stationary (ADF) approach, from March 2011 to September 2021. The results found that the long-term estimation of Sukuk has a positive and significant effect on economic growth while sharia bank financing, mutual funds and sharia stocks have no impact on economic growth. In the short term, the Sharia bank financing variable has a positive and significant impact on economic growth. Then, the results of the bound test estimate show that there is a short-term and long-term equilibrium relationship. Through the results of this study, it is hoped that it can be used as material for consideration by investors in making decisions to invest in the sharia financial market and to the government, it can be used as material for evaluating economic policies so that investment in sharia finance in Indonesia is growing

Therefore, in order to remain active and productive, students are required to follow an online learning system. This will make the use of internet quota even greater. The number of cellular providers that provide internet services sometimes makes users confused in determining which provider is better to use. In this study, the Multiple-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) - Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods used to identify the decision support system in determining the type of cellular provider that is the most popular among students, especially in the Griya Martubung Area. This decision support system can certainly meet the needs of internet quotas and budgets. The results show that the most popular providers are Three, followed by Telkomsel, XL Axiata, Smartfren and Indosat

Designing the Assembly Capability Assessment Model for Thai Wooden Furniture

    Get PDF
There are many aspects to consider the good assembly model for Thai wooden furniture. The main idea is the assembly can be made in difference ways. As a result, the easy to assemble means the efficiency to produce.  The way how to make an assembly need to be considers. The assembly assessment model is evaluated from the assembly’s method, the assembly’s point, the assembly’s direction, the assembly’s difficulty and the assembly’s motion and time. All these assembly criteria needed to be set to make the assembly easier. Also, part’s size and weight and part’s direction can affect the result of the assembly. With these assembly criteria, Thai’s wooden furniture experts are choosing to select sub-criteria and compare all sub-criteria. Then, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to calculate the weight of each sub-criterion. With the weight of all sub-criteria when the assessors evaluate the way the assembly makes, the overall score is calculated. The higher overall score means a good assembly model. The second idea is because the assembly can be adjustable and changeable, therefore the assembly’s sequence needed to be considered. The sequence assessment model is developed to calculate the assembly time. The sequence assessment model will use assembly relationship chart and AND/OR graph to set up all the assembly sequence from the beginning to the finished furniture. The smaller assembly time shows the good assembly

This study aims to determine the chances of a person becoming unemployed in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic, which individual and household characteristics influence. The data were collected from National Labour Force Survey (SAKERNAS) in August 2020. The data were analysed using a logistic regression model. The result proved that there was a significant opportunity between individual characteristics, namely age, gender, household head status, marital status, education level, training, work experience, and household characteristics, namely the number of household members, against unemployment. While the location of the household is not significant because this research was only conducted in the city centre so that with the same characteristics of the city in each region, the labour force living in the city is less likely to become unemployed. The coefficient value showed that women are more likely to become unemployed.
