    Get PDF
This study analyzes the government\u27s absorption of rice in Indonesia. The government\u27s rice absorption has decreased in the last three years (2018-2020). The decrease in absorption is in line with the decline in farmer production and the difference between the government\u27s purchase price of rice and the market price. The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the difference between government rice prices and market prices (PBR) and the amount of rice production circulating in the community (JPB) on the government\u27s rice absorption capacity (DBP) in 34 Indonesian Provinces for the 2011-2020 period. Regression results with the Panel Model show that (PBR) and (JPB) have a significant positive effect on (DBP). Government policies and roles are urgently needed, especially in setting purchase prices for government rice and sustainably increasing the amount of production by facilitating agricultural facilities and infrastructure so that they can affect the government\u27s rice absorption capacity in Indonesia

Combination of Zero Waste Patterns to Maximize Multi Fabric and Wastra Nusantara Applications

    Get PDF
The fashion industry has long been known as the ultimate source of waste in landfills. Many designers and fashion enthusiasts tried to introduce slower fashion to promote sustainability. Among many approaches, the zero-waste pattern (ZWP) has been known as the keyword that captures the attention of many. The baseline is to produce any fashion pieces with 15% waste or up to nearly 0% waste from a piece of cloth. Because of this definition, many designers are trapped into thinking that Zero Waste Fashion (ZWF) products should only use mono fabric. Indonesia has various local fabrics (wastra) that can be explored. The initial bottom line of wastra is to use the whole fabric with no cutting at all. Therefore, the same spirit of ZWF is found relatable to the use of wastra in the modern context. This study aims to find the right multi-fabric combination using zero waste patterns on wastra. This study uses a design thinking method with an experimental approach. The fabric used in this research is limited to plain modern fabric and wastra with the tie-dye technique. This study found that the sustainable cutting technique is highly efficient when applied to fabric with a width of 115 cm to produce five clothing items. The wastra used should have a pattern that can be rotated without considering the position of the motifs that must meet each other

    Get PDF
The purpose of this study is to test the ability of the ARIMA model to predict the value of Ethereum, especially during economic shocks such as the current COVID-19 pandemic. The population in this study is Ethereum value weekly data for the period January 2017 to December 2020, so there are 208 samples in this study. The results showed that the use of the ARIMA method in predicting the value of Ethereum got poor results, where the forecast value was very much different from the actual value. This is evidenced from the results of the accuracy test using MAPE which got a result of 51.94%. On the other hand, the economic conditions that are experiencing uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the emergence of deficit (decentralized finance) in early 2021 have pushed up a very significant increase in the value of Ethereum so that the error standard is higher and reduces the ability of the ARIMA model to predict the value of Ethereum. Further research is recommended to use a more advanced model such as the Autoregressive Fractionally Integrated Moving Average (AFRIMA) in order to obtain a better forecast value
