    Investigating the Determinants of the Livestock Sub-sector in Aceh Province, Indonesia

    This study analyzes the effect of livestock subsector farmers\u27 exchange rate, inflation, and human development index on the livestock subsector economy in Aceh Province. This study uses multiple regression models with a time series period of 2012-2021 totaling 40 observations. The results showed that the exchange rate of livestock subsector farmers had a negative and significant effect on the economic growth rate of the livestock subsector in Aceh Province. In addition, inflation has a positive and significant effect on the economic growth rate of the livestock subsector in Aceh Province, while the human development index has no significant effect. Therefore, various policies are needed to overcome the inequality of livestock subsector farmers\u27 welfare and improve the quality of human resources. This study is only able to describe Aceh Province in general. Still, it has yet to be able to capture inter-regional phenomena in Aceh Province to get a more reliable picture of the livestock subsector economy

    A Study of Experience and Performance of Midwife Independence Practice in Providing Antenatal Care Services in Batam City, Riau, Indonesia

    Good performance of health workers impacts the quality of examination services for pregnant women, including maternal and neonatal health. This study determines the correlation between midwives\u27 experience and the performance of midwife independence practice in providing antenatal care services in Batam Kota district. The population was collected using an accidental approach to midwife independence practice in Batam City District. Based on bivariate results, among 30 respondents who had a new experience, all respondents (100%) had a good performance, and 0 respondents (0.0%) had poor performance on ANC services. Meanwhile, among 21 respondents in the category of service length, 8 respondents (56.7%) had a good performance, and 13 respondents (43.3%) had poor performance. The chi-square test had a p-value of 0.02. The bivariate result showed a correlation between experience and the performance of midwife independence practice in providing antenatal care services with a chi-square p-value analysis of 0.002 <0.05. In conclusion, this study indicated that experience significantly correlated with the midwife\u27s performance in providing antenatal care services at Botania and Baloi Indah Public Health Center in Batam City, Indonesia

    A Study of Financial Literacy among Millennials during COVID-19 Pandemic to Reduce Poverty in Aceh, Indonesia

    Financial literacy among millennials during the COVID-19 pandemic is a knowledge of millennials financial management during a pandemic era. Society is generally experienced an economic downturn. Studying financial literacy among millennials to provide knowledge about financial management by millennials has an impact on steps to minimize poverty in Aceh, especially in the South West region of Aceh. This study is designed using a post-positivistic paradigm approach with a mix- method methodology. The results of this study suggest that managing millennials finances in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic is a measure of poverty alleviation in the people of Aceh because an excellent financial understanding of millennials can realize the economic independence of these millennials. However, the involvement of millennials in investing online is very little because millennials\u27 knowledge of financial management influences still needs to be improved. The constraints of online investment for millennials during the pandemic are due to the mistake of having a product in sales. The product being sold is a product that is not in demand by the public, so the product needs to sell better. In addition, another obstacle is choosing the wrong online investment, namely, choosing a fake one. In the end, the application disappears suddenly

    The Design of Indonesian Furniture as a Solution to Human Life Balance Issues Post-COVID-19 Pandemic

    The focus on achieving life balance has been widely discussed in various aspects of human life after the COVID-19 pandemic. The increased stress level results from losing boundaries between work and other aspects of life due to the lack of physical and temporal limitations, causing an imbalance. As one of the world\u27s furniture material producers, Indonesia needs to improve its design\u27s quality for the export market. This paper discussed the solution of interior product design for the European export market as an activity that helps to address the imbalance of human life after the pandemic. The authors applied the Kelley design thinking method through the stages of empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing. The wellness, sustainability, and home sweet home concepts were applied to the design as the emerging megatrends in Europe while also considering the sustainable global cultural and aesthetic aspects. Natural materials from Indonesia were applied with this consideration. The main focus of the design system is on the easy installation concept to achieve product shipping efficiency to the European market. Three designs are discussed in this paper, including the Rotan Storage Credenza, Multifunctional Lounge Chair, and Sisal Lounge Chair. The resulting designs are expected to solve the European market\u27s problems after the pandemic. The designs must still be tested in the market through e-commerce and internationally recognized exhibitions

    Examining the Factors that Influence Consumer Willingness to Pay of Bubble Tea among Generation Z in Bandung, Indonesia

    Bubble tea is a popular drink among Generation Z in Indonesia. However, the quality of bubble tea varies depending on intrinsic and extrinsic factors to make it more appealing. On the basis of consumers\u27 final economic activity, it is crucial to examine what factors influence consumer purchase decision behavior. Due to the bubble tea shop, owners will effectively meet customer expectations for bubble tea beverages. This study examines factors that may influence the consumer purchase decision (willingness to pay) of bubble tea and analyzes the price limit disparities. The research uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 300 Generation Z domiciled at Bandung, Indonesia. This study examines several aspects, including price, taste, product design, brand influence, and location accessibility. Also, it analyzes whether the consumers\u27 purchase decision factor and the price limit of the respondents are different when it is divided based on demographic factors. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression (MLR). This study found that taste, price, product design, brand image, and location accessibility individually and simultaneously affect the willingness to pay among Generation Z in Bandung City. Also, this study found differences in decision factors and price limits on bubble tea based on demographic factors. In conclusion, the current study has successfully examined the factors influencing consumer purchase decisions (willingness to pay) and analyzed the price limit disparities of bubble tea in Bandung, Indonesia

    The Effect of Financial Literacy on the Financial Welfare of Households of Genpro SMEs in Bengkulu City, Indonesia

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial literacy on the financial well-being of household actors of GENPRO members in Bengkulu city. Study of financial literacy of household actors and analysis of the relationship between financial literacy and financial welfare of household actors as economic welfare. Supervision was carried out on 150 respondents from GENPRO members. The method used is quantitative research, with primary data conducted offline. The results showed that financial behavior and financial knowledge had no significant effect on financial well-being, while financial attitudes had a significant effect on the financial well-being of household actors. It is evident from the results of smart PLS processing, and they realize that the components of financial statements follow experience, investment knowledge is still lacking. This research will have implications for the government and related agencies as well as household actors by describing the importance of adequate financial education facilities for household actors to improve their welfare

    The Effect of Hedonic and Utilitarian Values on Online Impulse Buying: Mediating Role of Browsing

    This study analyzes the effect of hedonic and utilitarian values on online impulse buying in Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. This study used a quantitative method, and online questionnaires collected primary data. The participants of this study consisted of 201 individuals and were dominated by middle-income people who used e-commerce platforms like Shopee and Tokopedia. Data were analyzed by using SEM-AMOS to explore the relationship between variables. This study confirms that hedonic value has a significantly positive effect on impulse buying while utilitarian value has a significantly negative effect on impulse buying. Additionally, hedonic value has a significantly positive effect on browsing, and utilitarian value does not affect browsing. Moreover, browsing has a significantly positive effect on impulse buying. After testing the mediates effect, this study finds that hedonic value positively affects impulse buying through browsing. Meanwhile, utilitarian value does not affect impulse buying through browsing

    The Influence of Direct Marketing, Digital Marketing and Insta-gram Celebrity Support on Purchase Decisions in Samarinda City, Indonesia

    This study examines the marketing strategy of the Momoo Milk Fresh micro business in Samarinda City. This research was conducted with the background that the local micro business has been running for more than six years with 15 branches in Samarinda City. This study aims to determine the effect of direct marketing, digital marketing, Instagram celebrity support that has been carried out by the micro business on their product purchasing decisions. This research is included in qualitative research. The population of this study were all buyers with the criteria of having bought before, and samples were taken from 15 branches of Momoo Milk Fresh in Samarinda City with a total of 152 respondents. The method used is a questionnaire, then documentation is done. The results of this study indicate that the direct marketing and digital marketing variables get a t-table value (> 1.960), while the Instagram celebrity support variable has a t-table value (> 1.960). From the results obtained, it can be concluded that direct marketing and digital marketing have a positive and significant relationship with purchasing decisions, while Instagram celebrity support does not have a positive and significant influence

    The Effect of Trust, Perceived Risk and E-Service Quality on the Intention to Purchase of E-Commerce Consumers in Indonesia

    This study investigates empirically the effect of trust, perceived risk and e-service quality on the intention to purchase of online shop\u27s customers in Indonesia. This research is a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The type of data used is primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. Respondents of this study were online consumers in Indonesia which were taken by accidental sampling technique as many as 333 peoples. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis and partial least square (PLS) analysis. Based on field research, the results obtained are: (1) Trust has a positive and significant effect on intention to purchase of online shop consumer; (2) Perceived risk has a positive and significant effect on intention to purchase of online shop consumers; and (3) E-service quality has a positive and significant effect on the intention to purchase of online shop consumers. The implications of the research are the importance of trust aspects, risk perception and quality of electronic services to online transactions. It is expected that e-commerce vendors can provide a comprehensive guarantee that sellers who join their vendors can be trusted, transactions made safe and comfortable and services provided quality

    The public continues to place a high demand on the Indonesian train as a mode of transportation.  However, the fact that there is a train does not guarantee dominance over other transportation such as planes, buses, and other modes of transportation. The rail transportation mode is lacking in making improvements through the provision of appropriate service quality that encourages the public to switch to using the train. This study aimed to identify the factors that comprise the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as well as to design strategies to improve service quality at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre I North Sumatra. This study used a qualitative method with descriptive techniques, such as data reduction, data presentation, and the conclusion of SWOT analysis. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Internal Factors Matrix (IFAS) and External Factors Matrix (EFAS) have several strength factors, namely safety, variations in ticket prices, skills or abilities, and facilities. Meanwhile, the weakness factors are facilities and infrastructure, public services, service performance, and timeliness. Opportunity factors are consumer satisfaction, comfort, passenger capacity, and technology. Furthermore, threat factors for the company include competition among modes of transportation, more efficient price competitiveness, consumer confidence, and insurance. These findings show that the quality of service in the company PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre I North Sumatra is in quadrant I with a very favorable strategic planning situation. This company also has opportunities and strengths that allow it to take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy that must be applied in the current conditions is to promote an aggressive growth policy (Growth Oriented Strategy)
