    Get PDF
Scabies, caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite, is a significant global health issue, especially in tropical and subtropical areas. This study examines factors affecting scabies incidents at Pondok Pesantren X at Karimun Regency, Indonesia, in 2023. Data from 106 participants, including 37 scabies cases, were analyzed using a cross-sectional design and quantitative analysis. The results indicated a significant relationship between scabies and knowledge, attitudes, practices, and perceptions of humidity. Lower knowledge, attitudes, and practices increased the risk of scabies, as did perceptions of humidity. Effective health post-management at the boarding school also significantly influenced the incidence of scabies. These findings highlight the need for interventions to improve knowledge, attitudes, practices, and environmental conditions to prevent better and manage scabies. There is a clear link between knowledge, attitudes, practices, humidity perceptions, Health Post management, and the occurrence of scabies. To address scabies among students at Pondok Pesantren X, targeted interventions are essential, including education on prevention, good hygiene practices, and timely provision of medical help. Maintaining optimal room humidity and improving health management are critical. Collaboration with local health authorities and ongoing monitoring and evaluation is recommended for effective implementation. Islamic boarding schools can reduce scabies incidents and enhance students’ well-being by fostering partnerships and collective action

Does Gross Regional Domestic Product Fully Mediate Poverty Reduction? An Inter-District Analysis in Aceh Province

    Get PDF
Over the last two decades, Aceh Province has been one of the provinces with a high poverty level that will reduce people\u27s welfare. This study investigates the impact of fiscal level, human capital, and Zakat on poverty in Aceh Province, considering the mediating role of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Using panel data regression analysis and path analysis, this study examined data from 23 districts/cities in Aceh from 2010 to 2022. Four models were developed to explore the relationships between variables. The results showed that fiscal level positively affected poverty, whereas human capital and Zakat had negative effects. The fiscal level negatively influences GRDP, whereas human capital and Zakat positively impact it. GRDP demonstrated a significant negative effect on poverty. When all variables were considered together, fiscal level positively affected poverty, while human capital, Zakat, and GRDP showed negative effects. Mediation analysis revealed that GRDP partially mediated the relationship between fiscal level and poverty, with fiscal level negatively affecting GRDP but positively influencing poverty. GRDP also partially mediates the effects of fiscal level, human capital, and Zakat on poverty. These findings suggest that the Aceh Government should focus on effectively managing central government transfer funds and regional revenues to improve public welfare and reduce poverty. This study highlights the complex interplay between fiscal policies, human capital development, zakat distribution, and economic growth in addressing poverty in the Aceh Province. Further research and policy interventions should consider these relationships to develop more effective strategies for poverty reduction in this region

This paper discusses the implementing fund empowerment productive Zakat through the social microfinance program conducted by LAZISMU. Also, assess the impact of MSMEs empowerment by LAZSIMU in the city of Medan and find out what are the supporting factors and obstacles in the implementation of MSME empowerment carried out by LAZISMU. This study is designed using a qualitative approach through content analysis. Observations, interviews and documentation studies are techniques that researchers use to collect data and then interpret accordingly with the phenomena and problems found in the field during carry out research. This study found that Zakat\u27s productive through the social microfinance program is important in helping business actors who experience difficulties developing their businesses. Also, this program has a significant impact on increasing business outcomes. The existence of a network of work, increase in family income and increased knowledge, skills, as well as independence. In addition, this study indicates that the factors supporting this program include human resources. There is a good organizational structure in Muhammadiyah. While the inhibiting factors and obstacles faced include the mentality of some members, there is no professional amil in the LAZISMU, so assistance has not been maximized, and there is no special organization in this program

Using Routing Heuristics to Improve Cost Interoperability: Strategy, Modelling Annotations, and Dynamism

    Get PDF
Routing systems mechanisms have piqued researchers\u27 interest in heuristic components for routing problems that could alter problem complexity. As a result, myriad routing strategies were proposed that minimize deployment costs while maximizing traversal coverage. Several constraints were considered, including deployment times, load capacities, and projected coverage. Research into routing systems has focused on heuristics to optimize complex routing problems. Multiple strategies have been proposed to optimize deployment costs and maximize route coverage, focusing on deployment times, load capacities, and coverage. This literature study examines data interpolation for cost optimization features coupled with relative scheduling systems, with the primary purpose of supporting heterogeneity subjugation towards cost interoperability based on varied goals and objective functions. A total of 250 papers were analyzed for relevance regarding routing scheduling from relevant academic-based user-accessed scientific journal databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, Hindawi, ACM, and Google Scholar to perform a concise analysis of the relative cost interoperability measures in routing strategies, including single objective purposes undertakings. The research evaluated the application, niche problem-solving methodologies, and viability for future refinement or integration with comparable solutions. This qualitative study aims to present an information synthesis based on the PRISMA (Systematic Literature Review) framework on various recognized developments and trends for routing heuristic research works that will serve as a benchmark for refining improvisation on current solution strategies. Ultimately, this study presents a comprehensive review of the applicable field, an analysis of existing problem-solving strategies, and a comprehensive overview of the possibilities for incorporating them into further research

Investigating the Innovation and Application of Jackson Pollock\u27s (Drip Painting) Elements in Fashion Design

As a unique cultural carrier, clothing always reflects people\u27s way of life and aesthetic concepts. With the continuous development of global economic integration and the mutual integration of multiculturalism, people\u27s aesthetic needs for clothing are becoming increasingly diversified. The painting process of Jackson Pollock\u27s “drip painting” is carried out in an unconscious mental state, which is very subjective and random. It uses a combination of lines, colors, and shapes to portray nature in his imagination. At the same time, he also pays great attention to applying comprehensive materials. His creative idea can also be used in clothing, which can enrich the artistic language of clothing and improve the artistry of clothing. This study applies acrylic and colors hot melt adhesive to clothing fabric in a way similar to Pollock\u27s "drip painting" through practical research to test its fluidity and coloring effect on the fabric and the layering of lines. The experimental results conclude that the adaptability of hot melt adhesive stick and canvas fabric is very high, and its fluidity and stability can confirm the feasibility of applying it to clothing design. However, the performance effect of acrylic pigment in this practical research is not ideal. This study found that atypical clothing materials can make clothing more abstract and play a positive role in the personalized expression of clothing
