Performance Improvement of ACO Routing Algorithm in Ad Hoc Networks
A wireless ad hoc network is a decentralized type of wireless network. It does not rely on pre-existing infrastructure. Instead, each node participates in routing by forwarding data for other nodes. The nodes use the service of other nodes in the network to transmit packets to destinations that are out of the range. This plays an important role in future and being useful for providing communication support where no fixed infrastructure exists. In order to accomplish this task, the number of routing protocols is proposed by researchers. ACO is more popular because of its adaptive and dynamic nature. Ant colony routing is the major application of swarm technology. So here ACO based routing algorithm is proposed in this project. The proposed routing algorithm performs better compared with better existing routing algorithms in terms of Packet Delivery Fraction (PDF), Throughput and Routing Overhead
Secured Image Encryption and Decryption Using Blowfish Algorithm
By and large, we send numerous photos of ourselves and some other important ones to our acquaintances, close connections and so on.These pictures might hold private data and messages of a person, and thereexist a necessity to keep such data safe.Hence, in order to secure such data, image encryption and decryption process by using blowfish algorithm has come into existence. With the advancement in the exchange, sharing of data by computerized systems, there is an urge to protect the data from unauthorized persons. With the evolution of interactive media applications, the safekeeping of information turns into a prominent matter for the interchanging of photos.Thefocus of this paper isto encrypt and decrypt an image with the help of a private(secret) key block cipher which is of sixtyfour(64) bits. Blowfish approach is designed to improve the safety of the images but also to enhance the efficiency . This algorithm uses a variable key of size up to 448 bits. The blowfish algorithm is opposed to illegal attacks and works much more faster and efficient than the other algorithms. Here, the data bit stream of the primary image is split into the limit of the block of the Blowfish algorithm. Then with the help of a key and encryption algorithm, the initial image is encrypted which is not visible to anyone. Later the encrypted image is decrypted with the help of the same key used in encryption process and a decryption algorithm. The decrypted image is nothing but the original image. The images encrypted and decrypted by blowfish can be of any saved size in tagged image file format(TIF),bit map(bmp),portable network graphics(PNG) and joint photographic experts group(JPG) etc. The primary advantage of this algorithm is that it can encode and decode both black and white and colour images
A Study on Invisible Digital Image and Video Watermarking Techniques
Digital watermarking was introduced as a result of rapid advancement of networked multimedia systems. It had been developed to enforce copyright technologies for cover of copyright possession. This technology is first used for still images however recently they need been developed for different multimedia objects like audio, video etc. Watermarking, that belong to the information hiding field, has seen plenty of research interest. There's a lot of work begin conducted in numerous branches in this field. The image watermarking techniques might divide on the idea of domain like spatial domain or transform domain or on the basis of wavelets. The copyright protection, capacity, security, strength etc are a number of the necessary factors that are taken in account whereas the watermarking system is intended. This paper aims to produce a detailed survey of all watermarking techniques specially focuses on image watermarking types and its applications in today’s world
A Proposal towards Detection of Sybil Attack Using Sink Based Detection Mechanism in Wireless Sensor Networks
Recent advances in wireless and electronic communications have enabled the deployment of low-cost, low-cost, low-power, multi-function sensors and communicate in a nutshell. Intelligent and economical sensors, connected to the network via wireless links and distributed in large quantities, offer unprecedented opportunities to monitor and control homes, cities and the environment. In addition, sensors connected to the network use a wide range of applications within the defence area, generating new features for recognition and surveillance and various tactical applications. Sybil is one of the most terrible attacks is the cloning attack of the node, where the attacker captures the knot and extracts its secret information, create replicas and enter them in the network field other malevolent behaviour. In this paper, to detect and mitigate this attack, sink-based detection schemes have been proposed
Digital Video Watermarking Robust Against Camcorder Recording Based on DWT-SVD
In order to reduce the block effects in the dark regions and improve the flicker in the bright regions of the existing video watermark algorithms, we propose an improved video watermarking algorithm against camcorder recording based on DWT-SVD. In proposed algorithm, 3th level Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is applied to Y luminance of every single frame, and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is used on sub-band of DWT. Watermark sequence is embedded by fine-tuning the singular value of consecutive frames. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is robust against many different attacks such as geometric attack, signal processing and camcorder recording. Moreover, the proposed scheme can reduce the blocks effect and improve the flicker by embedding watermark into edge feature of video frame. Although, the method can provide high video quality than the existing schemes, however, it is not robust to strong compression such as MPEG
Implementation of Fuzzy Logic Control System to Enhance Stability of a Grid Connected Wind Farm: A Review
Power systems are the most complicated systems and have tremendous importance in modern life. They have direct impacts on the modernization, economic, political and various social aspects. Major blackouts and failures of power system depicts that voltage instability problem has been one of the main reasons of these disturbances and networks collapse. In recent years, fabulous and huge improvements have been achieved because of electric energy generation by utilization of wind energy. However, these achievements are accompanied by several issues for example grid stability and security. The transient stability issues of the grid connected wind farms have increased especially in case of severe disturbances and contingences. Static analysis is used to analyze the voltage stability of the system under study, while the dynamic analysis is used to evaluate the performance of compensators. The static techniques used are Power Flow, V–P curve analysis, and Q–V modal analysis. In this study, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission system (FACTS) devices- namely, Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOMs) and Static Var Compensators (SVCs) - are used as reactive power compensators. There are diverse techniques to compensate reactive power which are generated by circuits

Harmonic Mean Labelling For Some Special Graphs
A graph G=(V,E) with p vertices and q edges is said to be a mean graph if it is possible to label the vertices with distinct elements f(x) from 0,1,2,…..q in such a way that when each edge is labelled with if is even and if is odd, then the resulting edge labels are distinct. is called a mean labelling of G. Here, we investigate the mean labelling of caterpillar, dragon, arbitrary super subdivision of a path and some graphs which are obtained from cycles and stars
An Experiment Approach to Economic Load Dispatch Using Optimization Using Heat and Power
In service with the problem of determining the outputs of the generating units the Economic dispatch is concerned, keeping the fuel cost to the minimum, in order to meet the total load. At equal incremental costs all the units (excluding those who are at their limit) would be operating, it is well known that at the optimum point. At the solution point in addition to the power demand in systems having some co-generation units, additional constraints have to be satisfied. For such system the simple equal incremental cost based economic dispatch schemes cannot be used. On the type of co-generation units the additional constraints that one has to include into the economic dispatch problem is depend. The economic dispatch problem of the system having co-generation type of units is addressed by the several researchers. With combined cycle co-generation units the economic dispatch of systems having simple cycle co-generation units has been investigated in the ED problem. In scheduling of back-pressure cogeneration plants the daily operation scheduling of co-generation units having heat storage tanks has been studied, additional issues like the time of use rate, wheeling, etc., have also been included. For the combined heat and power dispatch of systems it is seen that the mathematical models having cogeneration units turn out to be different depending on the type of the units as well as the operating environment of the units
