A Survey Paper on Optimization Based SDN Powered by Fog Computing
The demand of cloud computing is increasing day by day due to their wide range of applications. But cloud computing suffered from various demerits like lack of mobility, unreliable latency, and position awareness. These drawbacks are overcome by the fog computing or edge computing which providing elasticity to the resources and reliability to the latency. In this paper we are studied various researches related to the cloud computing and fog computing for different applications. Several challenges are also discussed while implementing edge computing to the network. The chances provided by the fog computing system also elaborated for the future work. Different applications are discussed with their advantages and outcomes of fog computing system. The real time applications like IIOT fog computing provided better computational time. All the characteristics and key features of fog computing are discussed in this work. We get an idea of using fog computing with optimization algorithm for our IIOT applications
Enhancing Security and Privacy on Smart City’s Collected Data: A Fog Computing Perspective
Smart cities use information and communication technologies to deliver services to their citizens. Use of ICT makes them to be more intelligent and efficient in usage of resources, resulting in cost and energy savings, improved service delivery and quality of life. Smart cities are expected to be the fundamental pillars of continued economic growth and improved services delivery. Smart City technology is having ability to constantly gather information about the city, sharing the data with people, devices and technologies or borrowing relevant data from elsewhere, for analysis to enable informed decision making. For instance internet of things has emerged as a technological driving force in real time service delivery in smart cities. These applications provide new abilities, enhancing monitoring, and provision of action oriented process on control and device management. Smart devices are a major source of big data in smart cities. With expected increase of billions of smart devices and sensors in smart city by the year 2020, more data will be generated which will reduce efficiency of cloud access, due to increased volume. Security and privacy of data is a challenge in smart city, negligence in data security and privacy can be amplified in folds resulting to faulty applications, services along with paralyzing the entire city through Denial of Service (DDoS) attack, Spear Phishing Attacksand Brute-Force Attacks among others.Fog computing FC is a new paradigm that is intended to extend cloud computing CC through deployment of processing and localized units into the network edge, enabling low latency, offering location awareness and latency sensitiveness. Homomorphism for encryption, authorization, authentication, and classification are performed on collected data in smart cities to improve security and privacy. In this paper assimilation and analysis, is performed with fog computing aspects of decentralization, different policies for datacenter transferstrategies being analyzed.Processing time, access time, request time, response time and cost analysis show system efficiency

Analysis of Producing Real Time Device Knowledge Exploitation IOT and R Programming to Discover Early Errors
Nowadays, cyber physical systems (CPS), big data analytics, cloud computing and Internet of Things (IoT) are more significant in industries and day-to-day life with its autonomous, design and implementation. Still now, many industries are doing manual checking of their hardware which prompts loss of cash and notoriety. So every time it is not possible to monitor the hardware and generate reports whenever it is required. So for the betterment, it is proposed to make a device which wills monitored all the time and generate reports when needed. In this proposed technique, various sensors are proposed to record the details of the device such as the vibration frequency and temperature levels at different time intervals to detect the health of the hardware. Those real sensor data are obtained into systems, processed using Eclipse IDE using java language and are saved in data storage. The data which is used by everyone including the workers, operating officers, owner, supervisor, service team, service vendors and admin will store in public cloud so all will be able to view the real time data whenever and from wherever they are. Using code written in Eclipse will gather the require data, then the data is processed in an excel file to R studio where it is converted to a csv file and then used as a data-set. Then, with the help clustering and classification technique the big data is been is processed. Finally, the data is summarized, and the status of the device is predicted. Thus, the workers will be notified in advance when the device is about to get damaged. This aims at evolving the physically operating factories into smart factories which make every device resourceful
