“Comparison Of Pelvic PNF And Lower Limb Strengthening Protocol For Prevention Of Fall In Post Menopausal Women”
Background: One of the most well-known physiological effects of menopause is hormonal changes. Women\u27s hormone levels decrease year by year during menopause, following which they are more likely to experience many changes as a result of this hormonal imbalance. Estrogen reacts directly and indirectly over muscle and results in condition leading to muscle loss, that brings about which in turn results in restrictions in physical abilities, muscle strength, and balance accelerating their risk of falling. Therefore this studycompared fall prevention techniques in postmenopausal women by incorporating proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) andexercises utilizing elastic bands.OBJECTIVES - To find out effect of pelvic PNF and lower limb strengthening to improve balance and strength for fall prevention.METHOD- It is a control group experimental study with a pre-test and post-test design. total no. of 24 postmenopausal women of age 45 to 65 were included in the study, Pelvic PNF along with lower limb PNF was administered to Experimental Group whereas lower limb strengthening was given to Control group. Along with the above intervention, home based exercises was also provided. All the subjects in the study underwent a basic assessment and then they were randomly assigned into one of two groups, the 4-week treatment plan of 3 sessions per week for 30-35 minutes was given.RESULT: After the 4 week PNF and elastic band exercise, both the experimental group and control groups showed statistically significant differences within the groups, except for POMA in the control group that showed no significant results. FTSTS inexperimental group with p value (0.008*) and in control group with p-value (0.000*). POMA with p value (0.02*) within experimental group showedsignificant results and POMA with p value (0.152) within control group showed no significant results. EFST with p value (0.005*) and (0.005*) showed significant result with in experimental and control group respevtively. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the scores of EFST, POMA and FTSTS (p>0.05).CONCLUSION: Given the findings of the present study, Pelvic PNF and elastic band exercise should be recommended as a practical approach in order to improve strength, balance and reduce fall in postmenopausal women

"Beyond Compliance: Crafting A Holistic Approach To Data Privacy In The Modern Age”
Data privacy and protection are becoming more than just legal requirements; they are becoming a comprehensive strategy that is necessary to successfully navigate the challenges of the contemporary world. In order to maintain long-term viability and foster stakeholder trust, organisations need to go above and beyond the requirements of regulations in protecting sensitive information.Developing an awareness culture within the workforce, incorporating strong security protocols, and adopting innovative technologies such as encryption and anonymization are all essential components of an all-encompassing data privacy plan. Encouraging user confidence through transparent data practices can help an organisation reaffirm its commitment to information ethics. In addition, the constantly changing environment necessitates constant adjustment to new risks and modifications to laws. Every step of the data processing process, from collection to disposal, must take privacy into account when privacy by design principles are put into practice.Essentially, an all-encompassing strategy for data privacy goes beyond compliance checklists and integrates itself into the core principles and functions of the company. In the digital age, firms which take this approach not only reduce risks but also establish themselves as responsible data stewards.

Microbiological Examination of Hand Towels Used in Public Restaurants
A total of five hand towels were collected from 5 different restaurants and taken to the laboratory in a sterile container. Nutrient agar, Macconkey agar, and Sabouraud dextrose agar media were prepared for the isolation of heterotrophic bacteria, coliforms, and fungi respectively. The total heterotrophic bacteria count for the various samples was (8.7×105 cfu/ml) with the highest total bacterial count, while (1.0×105 cfu/ml) had the lowest bacterial count. The mean values for the total coliform count showed (7.4×105 cfu/ml) as the highest coliform count, whereas (2.4×105 cfu/ml) was the lowest coliform count. Also, the mean total fungal count from the restaurants showed that the highest fungal count occurred (8.6×105cfu/ml), and (1.2×105 cfu/ml) lowest fungal count. The bacteria species identified and their prevalence include Staphylococcus sp 10 (4.4%), E. coli 22 (9.6%), Sarratia sp, 23 (10%), Proteus sp 14 (6.1%), Pseudomonas sp 21 (9.2%), Shigella sp 3 (1.3%), Bacillus sp 85 (37.1%), Micrococcus sp 14 (6.1%), and Salmonella sp 37 (16.2%). Fungi species identified were Penicillium sp, Fusarium sp, Mucor sp, Aspergillus tarmani, Aspergillus flavus, and Penicillium sp. Hand towels used in public restaurants contain different species of bacteria and fungi, which can be a source of infection to other users or customers. It is recommended that restaurant owners and their staff should regularly wash their hand towels, and ensure that sanitizers and disinfectants are made available to customers to prevent the spread of potentially harmful microorganisms
Influence Of Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Viral Infection On Antioxidant Content In Tomato (Lycopersicon Esculentum)
Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum) is one of the most significant and extensively grown vegetable crop all over the world. Tomato Leaf Curl Viral disease is one of the key viral diseases leading to loss in productivity across the country. Antioxidants existent in plants play a vital role in this defence. In order to understand the basis of the tolerance study of the variation in the level of antioxidants in tomato against viral infections was necessary. Our study therefore focuses on analysing the influence of TLCV infection on variation in antioxidant content in tomato plants. Various antioxidants including alkaloids, ascorbic acid, total phenol, saponin and flavanoids were compared in healthy controls and TLCV infected tomato cultivars for a period of 30 days post inoculation. Previous reports suggest an increase in the antioxidant content in tomato plants in response to bacterial and fungal infection. The mechanism of host plant tolerance to various infections consists of a series of changes in biochemical events. This study reveals significant increase in the amounts of antioxidants post infection with ascorbic acid showing maximum rise
The Role Of Metformin, Magnesium, And Vitamin D In Modulating Redox Enzymes In Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetes: An Albino Rat Model Study
This study investigates the role of metformin, magnesium, and vitamin D in modulating redox enzymes in streptozotocin-induced diabetes, employing an albino rat model. While numerous studies have explored the impact of metformin therapy in combination with various vitamins, there is a noticeable scarcity of research examining the effects of metformin therapy in conjunction with a combination of various vitamins along with manganese. The experimental design involved six groups of rats, each comprising six individuals. The control group (Group 1) served as the baseline, while Group 2 represented untreated diabetes induced by streptozotocin (DU). Group 3 received metformin for diabetes treatment (DTM), Group 4 received a combination of metformin and vitamin D (DTMV-D), Group 5 received a combination of metformin and magnesium (DTMM), and Group 6 received a combination of metformin, vitamin D, and magnesium (DTMMV-D).The organs, particularly the liver and kidney, were isolated after treatment for enzyme assays, including lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PDH). Results demonstrated that untreated diabetes led to significant increases in SDH, LDH, and G-6-PDH activities compared to the control group. While metformin treatments showed varying degrees of effectiveness in restoring these enzyme activities, the combination of metformin, vitamin D, and magnesium (DTMMV-D) consistently stood out, indicating potential benefits in mitigating diabetes-induced changes in redox enzyme levels. The study contributes valuable insights into the complex interplay of these treatments with redox enzymes, offering a foundation for future research on innovative therapeutic strategies in diabetes management
