Enhancing Smile Esthetics by Management of Gingival Enlargement using Electrosurgery and Diode Laser
Smile plays a major role in human interactions and communication. It is a simple yet powerful gesture that can make a significant difference in how people perceive and interact with each other. Addressing dental issues that affect the smile can be crucial not only for aesthetic reasons but also for oral health and overall well-being. There are some ways in which teeth and gingiva can impact a person\u27s smile such as tooth color, size, alignment, gingival health and gummy smile etc. Short clinical crowns or gingival enlargement can be the reasons for gummy smile. Proper consideration of biologic width and the dentogingival junction is required to diagnose the etiology and plan an effective treatment. Cosmetic dentistry offers various solutions to enhance the appearance of teeth and gingiva, such as teeth whitening, orthodontic treatment, veneers, gum contouring and dental implants for missing teeth. The aim of this case report, is to enhance esthetics by treating gingival enlargement in single visit by two different thermal modalities
PRECLINICAL ASSESSMENT OF NITROGEN-CONTAINING HETEROCYCLIC DERIVATIVES FOR BREAST CANCER INTERVENTION IN ANIMAL MODELS
Due to their inherent adaptability and distinctive physicochemical characteristics, the majority of heterocycle compounds and generally frequent heterocycle units found in the majority of medications now on the market have established them as genuine bases of medicinal chemistry. In addition to the medications that are now on the market, several more are being researched for their possible effectiveness in treating a variety of cancer. Specifically, these molecules inherent adaptability and dynamic core scaffold have been used in anticancer research. However, much like every other potential anticancer medication, heterocyclic compounds have drawbacks. We give a succinct summary of heterocyclic active compounds and families in this study, along with an emphasis on their primary medical uses. While examining the primary biochemical mechanisms of action, biological targets, structure-activity connections, and fundamental limitations in the utilisation of these substances, we have concentrate on those that are appropriate for cancer therapy

Synthesis, Docking Studies And Biological Evaluation Of Thiophene-Oxadiazole Hybrid Derivatives.
The novel thiophene-oxadiazole hybrid derivatives were schemed and substituted, and then they were checked for docking scores against the Human topoisomerase I enzyme. From that, the 10 best docked compounds are selected and synthesized, and spectral data of the synthesized compounds was obtained from IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectroscopy. Then the ten compounds are subjected to in-vitro cytotoxicity studies by the MTT assay method with the MCF-7 cell line. Among the tested compounds, derivative T11 substituted with a salicylic aldehyde moiety shows a significant IC50 value (45.68 nM) in the tested cell lines and possesses cytotoxic activit
“Molecular Docking Analysis Of Alpha-Terpineol Against Matrix Metalloproteinases”
Objectives: The process of wound healing is crucial and complex within the human body, involving various enzymes. Increased concentrations of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) at the wound site lead to slowdown in the healing process. Small bioactive compounds produced from natural sources can be used to down-regulate or inhibit these over expressed MMPs. Alpha-terpineol, a mono-terpenoid alcohol with a monocyclic structure, is present in vitex negundo linn leaf, pemus boldus leaf, cajeput oil, coriander oil, and pine oil. It exhibits diverse biological uses, serving as an antioxidant, anticancer, anticonvulsant, antiulcer, anti-inflammatory, antihypertensive, and anti-nonciceptive agent. The work aims to use molecular docking to understand how alpha-terpineol binds to MMPs.
Materials and Methods: The MMPs was obtained from RCSB database and the alpha-terpineol was obtained from Pubchem. The Auto Dock software was used to create a molecular docking of alpha-terpineol activity on MMPs. Alpha-Terpineol binds to MMPs receptors. Auto Dock Vina was used to examine the binding box-related files, including a PDBQT file and PYMOL software was then used to analyze the receptor and ligand PDBPT files.
Result: Docking tests revealed that alpha-terpineol has a great binding affinity for all four MMPs tested. MMPs 3, 8, and 12 had free binding energies of around -9.1, -10.5, and -9.7kcal/mol, respectively.
Conclusion: Therefore, alpha-terpineol can be employed to regulate the function of matrix metalloproteinases and facilitate the process of wound healing
Integrating Multimodal Data For Enhanced Analysis And Understanding: Techniques For Sentiment Analysis And Cross-Modal Retrieval
In today\u27s dynamic digital landscape, the prevalence of multimedia content across various platforms underscores the importance of advanced techniques for analyzing data across diverse modalities. This paper explores the integration of text data with other modalities such as images, videos, and audio to enable comprehensive analysis and understanding. Specifically, the focus is on investigating methods for sentiment analysis in multimedia content and facilitating cross-modal retrieval. The paper addresses the challenges and opportunities in multimodal analysis, reviews existing techniques, and proposes novel methods for enhancing sentiment analysis and cross-modal retrieval through multimodal fusion and deep learning architectures. The challenges inherent in multimodal analysis include data heterogeneity, semantic gap, modality imbalance, and scalability. These challenges necessitate the development of robust techniques for multimodal fusion, feature representation, and cross-modal mapping. Existing methods, including early fusion, late fusion, and hybrid fusion techniques, are reviewed, alongside recent advancements in deep learning-based multimodal fusion architectures. Proposed methodologies aim to augment sentiment analysis and cross-modal retrieval through innovative multimodal fusion techniques and deep learning architectures. Experimental evaluations validate the effectiveness of the proposed methods in improving sentiment analysis accuracy and cross-modal retrieval performance. This research contributes to advancing techniques for analyzing and understanding multimedia content in the increasingly complex digital landscape, facilitating enhanced data-driven insights and decision-making processes across various domains

Oral Myiasis (Chrysomya Bezziana): Its Cause, Clinical Feature And Management
Oral myiasis, caused by the infestation of dipteran larvae, particularly Chrysomya bezziana, is a rare yet significant condition that poses challenges in its management. The infestation of live maggots in the oral cavity can lead to tissue destruction, secondary infections, and psychological distress. Prompt recognition and a multidisciplinary approach involving larvae removal, wound debridement, antibiotic therapy, oral hygiene education, and psychological support are essential in addressing this condition. In addition, addressing the underlying factors contributing to poor oral hygiene and infrequent dental care is crucial in preventing the recurrence of oral myiasis. This review underscores the importance of collaborative efforts among healthcare professionals, public health initiatives, and community education programs to raise awareness and promote preventive measures against oral myiasis caused by Chrysomya bezziana.
