    No full text
Innovation in course curriculum is a continuous process in the higher education system (HES). As the amount of published information growing with time at geometric progression, it is necessary to increase the depth and breadth of the HES curriculum of every course with time. Engineering education is one of the prominent areas in science & technology education, finding many opportunities and facing many challenges in the 21st century due to the accelerated advancement of technologies in many areas. Keeping students in pace with such developments and adopting such newly emerging areas of technology in the current curriculum is an essential requirement of the education industry’s progress. In this paper, we have proposed improvement in engineering education in India at the undergraduate level by means of six innovations to improve the depth, breadth, and vigorousness of the B.Tech. programme by suggesting a Student integrated development Framework in engineering based on STEAM-Employability Model with a focus on experimental learning. The six innovations proposed in this model upgrades the B.Tech. (Pass) programme into B.Tech. (Honours). The advantages, benefits, constraints, and disadvantages from students, institutions, and job offering industries point of view are analysed to check this model of B.Tech. (Honours) for its effectiveness in its objective of enhancing competency and employability of graduates to secure better employment

Information Assurance, in short, is called as IA. This is responsible for securing informationsystems and computing. The term holds the highest degree of security related affairs. Ingenerally Computer Security considered as a branch and area of security but now apart fromthis, Information Security, IT Security, and Information Assurance considered as important. And among these, security related domain Information Assurance treated as broader andinterdisciplinary. Moreover, this Information Assurance holds all the areas and dealing of ITSecurity and Information Security but additionally, it is responsible for the designing, development of policies, regulation and guidelines of security related projects /proposal, etc.And among the administrative and protocol related affairs Security Content AutomationProtocol treated as important. In short, it is called as SCAP. It is a kind of method for usingspecific standards for the purpose of enabling vulnerability management systems in anautomated way for the measurement as well as policy compliance assessment regarding thesystems inbuilt in a company or institutions; that may include IT company or may not be.This is a conceptual paper, initially, it has discussed with the areas of Information Assurancebut gradually it has described about the Security Content Automation Protocol; including itsaim and objectives, versions, etc. paper mentioned all the areas in short and simple sense

Universities in India are globally famous for providing quality education with low cost. The privatization has further developed formal education with advanced technology, infrastructure and learning environment. It has become a matter of pride for the higher educational institutions to show case the innovations they do to provide quality education to the students. Sustainabilitycan be attained only by detecting the defects in teaching, learning and evaluation system in the educational institutions. There is a need to seek proper solutions to solve the existing defects in the educational system so as to provide good citizens to the society. The Students, Faculties, Parents, Employers, Collaborative Institutions, Regulating Bodies, Banks and financial Institutions, Sponsoring bodes etc. are the prime stakeholders of educational system. The expectation of each set of stakeholder differs in its magnitude based on its role towards the cause of education. Feedback is the process of knowing the self for every educational institution to rate its service towards its stakeholders. Educational Institutions shall establish and adopt Feedback Management System (FMS) to detect the best practices and defects existing in its system. The University Grants Commission has mandated the feedback on teachers. It has directed the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to seek feedback from the students to evaluate the quality of educational delivery. This paper describes about the regulatory norms, process, opportunities and challenges of Feedback Management System in the Higher Education system in India

Information is the core and most vital asset these days. The subject which deals with Information is called Information Science. Information Science is responsible for different information related affairs from collection, selection, organization, processing, management and dissemination of information and contents. And for this information related purpose Information Technology plays a leading role. Information Technology has different components viz. Database Technology, Web Technology, Networking Technology, Multimedia Technology and traditional Software Technology. All these technologies are responsible for creating and advancing society. Database Technology is concerned with the Database. It is worthy to note that, Database is concerned with the repository of related data in a container or base. The data, in Database normally stored in different forms and Database Technology play a lead role for dealing with the affairs related to database. The Database is very important in the recent past due to wider applications in different organizations and institutions; not only profit making but also non-profit making. Today most organizations and sectors which deal with sensitive and important data keep them into the database and thus its security becomes an important concern. Large scale database and its security truly depend on different defensive methods. This paper talks about the basics of database including its meaning, characteristics, role etc. with special focus on different security challenges in the database. Moreover, this paper highlights the basics of security management, tools in this regard. Hence different areas of database security have mentioned in this paper in a simple sense

Information Communication and Computation Technology (ICCT) also called as Digital Technology and is considered as a general purpose universal technology due to its ability to solve many problems in the human society related to basic needs, advanced wants, and dreamy desires. In this chapter, initially, we have identified various quality attributes of Digital Service and some prominent published works in digital service innovation. The important underlying technologies of ICCT which are emerging as technologies of 21st century including Artificial intelligence& robotics, Big data & business analytics, Cloud computing& storage, Digital marketing, 3D printing, Internet of Things, Online ubiquitous education, Quantum computing, Information storage technology, and Virtual & Augmented Reality are considered for possible innovations in such industries. The applications of ICCT underlying technologies in some of the prominent service industry sectors are identified and the management of ICCT underlying technology usage strategies for digital service innovation in tertiary sector industries are analysed

Unchanged Indian education system has blocked student’s interest in active learning in the classroom. All the time and all the ways students are demotivated, distracted and pressurized. Today class room teaching made the teachers get limited for completion of the portion and also the modern educational institutions are wordless in beyond classroom teaching. Corporalpunishments, exams and home works are only become the deferent parameters to measure the children. It made all the way children feel helpless, hopeless and worthless. In the classroommstudents are only expected by the teachers to be silent and pay attention towards continues sessions. Background : Age of children is the important demographic factor that is involved in nutritional status of children. The preschool age of children is the formative period in which growth and development of children occur. The deficiency of calories and minerals in the preschool age could result in to malnutrition in children. Participants and Methods : Present study was comprised of total 440 children which were selected through two stage random sampling method. The children between 2 years to below 5 years were the sampling units. The study was conducted at the city Fazilka in Punjab in Indi Results and Discussion : The study population was comprised of total 440 preschool which were categorized into three age groups as 2y to 3y with children (n/N=169/440) representing 38.4% in schools, other age group between above 3y to 4y with children (n/N=146/440) representing 33% in anganwadis and the age group above 4y to below 5 years with children (n/N=125/440) representing 28.4%. The stunting in children in 2-3 years age group showed 2.47 times higher chances than the stunting probability in children above 3 to below 5 years age. The Odd ratio between age groups and pallor in preschool children was (OR=0.1986/0.4728) = (0.42) at 95%C. I. of (0.260 to 0.628). Conclusion : Age of children is significantly associated with stunting, pallor and dental caries in children.&nbsp
