Are You Happy with The Way Your Body Looks in Midlife?
No full textPurpose: The years between 40 to the early 60’s in the human life span is referred to as the Midlife period. It is also considered as an important period in one’s life, referred to as the transition period. By this age it is generally assumed that a person would have more free time in their hands, as they get settled/established in their career and with the children hitting their teens and no longer demanding a lion’s share of their spare time, one is free to socialise, introspect, explore new avenues etc. Traditionally it is believed that people are more fixated or obsessed with their outwardly appearance up until their 40, s and as they hit their midlife, they tend to become more relaxed on their outward appearance and physique. In the current scenario where people are locked up indoors due to the Covid19 pandemic. Working, Socialising, recreation is facilitated by some or the other social media platform. The issue here is that these platforms not only show us the other person, but you see yourself also on screen. Seeing themselves on screen is not something that the people in their midlife are used to. This over exposure of the unfiltered self, pitched against the others on screen make them conscious of their haves and have not’s. The massive boom of the beauty /fitness industry along with the new age/gen Selfie revolution has put a massive pressure on the human psyche to look perfect and flawless in every frame. People have become very aware of their body, body type, flaws and assets.
Objective: This research was done to Understand the extent to which the people from a fitness group and who follow an exercise regime are conscious about the appearance of their specific body parts.
Design/Methodology/Approach: Quantitative analysis with pre-established tool of body comparison scale.
Findings/Results: Results showed that contrary to the general understanding that people become relaxed towards their appearance during their midlife, both, males and females were bothered about their physical features and appearance. Both the genders were equally concerned about size, weight, waist, physique and overall shape. Males were more bothered about the muscular attributes while females were shown to be more conscious about non muscular physical attributes. Hence the results clearly indicated that due to social media influence, people in midlife are really conscious, comparative and critical about their physical attributes and body, irrespective of their gender.
Originality/Value: The study points out at how comparative the social circles make us towards our own bodies.

An Analysis of Indian Entertainment Industry – Past, Present, and Future
No full textPurpose: The entertainment industry (casually known as Show Business) is included in the tertiary sector of the economy and embraces fields so theater, films, fine arts, dance, music, television, radio, media, sports, cultural events, etc. This industry is continuously evolving with innovations and ideas for the industry. It is developing dynamically in terms of revenue and volumes employing creative and technical people. It witnessed explosive growth during post liberalization that led to internationalization and expansion of the market. This study explores the evolution, growth, threats, challenges, future trends, and impact of FDI on the Indian entertainment industry. This study uncovers the impact of internationalization and its potential for providing employment.
Methodology: This study is based on secondary data including Google, online journals, reports, and news articles.
Findings: Initially, the entertainment started with storytelling, a way to pass on their culture, traditions, values, and history. The introduction of television brought a big change in entertainment and now online entertainment is on-trend and this way the method of delivering entertainment has expanded progressively. The Indian government has increased the percent of FDI’s and many international collaborations have helped the Indian entertainment industry to grow nationally and internationally There is a lot of employment opportunity in the entertainment industry from the people who work on screen and behind the screen. But due to the pandemic, few classes of workers in the industry are suffering but others are surviving in the online platforms. Television has retained its position as the largest entertainment segment, while digital media overtook the print entertainment sector, and online gaming overtook a filmed entertainment segment. In the future, the online form of entertainment will overpower and the OTT platform will boom.
Research limitations/implications: Very few sources are available for references, few concepts are not highlighted and most of the information is outdated hence the collection of relevant information was a challenge.
Originality/value: This paper brings to focus the imperative of due consideration by the Government and other regulating bodies to adopt some incentive measures to boost the Indian entertainment industry, being a sunrise industry, and also try to work on the personal and financial safety and stability of all the stakeholders of the entertainment industry, especially during abnormalities like the present pandemic-.

An Overview of Drugs Used in COVID-19: A Pharmacotherapeutic Approach
Get PDFCoronavirus originated pandemic disease also called Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is spread all over the world causing severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) called SARS-CoV-2 poses a difficult challenge to scientists, researchers, and practitioners to discover effective drugs for prevention and treatment. By using a huge amount of clinical data obtained from many SARS-CoV2 infected people, clinicians are trying to gather accurate evidence for effective treatment and also developing a suitable vaccine system for the prevention of spread of infection for many more people. With no proven therapies which can treat and prevent SARS-CoV-2 is developed until now, there is an opportunity for new researchers in virology to make such an attempt at this crucial time. In this regard, currently, two strategies are active. The first kind of strategy is on developing completely new molecules to prevent and treat this disease, or the second strategy is on testing the effectiveness of already available antivirals and antimalarials for possible potential recovery and prevention. This is done by testing several antivirals (Remdesivir, Favipiravir, etc) and antimalarials (Chloroquine, Hydroxychloroquine, etc) for their potential therapies. Studies show that the most promising therapy is the use of antiviral Remdesivir. Remdesivir has shown the potential ability to exhibit vitro activity to control COVID-19. The drug is currently being tested by ongoing randomized trials. Until a widely accepted drug reaches the global market, different antiviral treatment strategies are used under urgent investigation. In this article, we review the latest research developments related to the systematic treatments for COVID-19 reported from various research labs of different countries. The article also provides a summary of various clinical research experience, intermediate results, and treatment guidance to combat the novel coronavirus epidemic based on pharmacotherapeutic analysis, along with insights to the attempts on vaccine development across the world in order to curb the COVID pandemic
Work-Life Balance of Women Medical Professionals in the Healthcare Sector-A Systematic Literature Review
Get PDFPurpose: Healthcare employees frequently put their personal needs aside for their professions, making it a challenge to maintain a healthy Work-Life Balance (WLB), particularly for women. WLB is a delicate balancing act between the importance and priorities of one's personal and professional paths, which are closely interwoven in every aspect. The Healthcare sector is rapidly expanding with female doctors and nurses accounting for a large portion of the workforce. Their job entails a variety of issues which include night shifts, prolonged shifts, fewer breaks, and high work pressure. When there is a positive organizational culture and supportive environment at work and home, female medical professionals will be able to offer excellent medical care, be more efficient, and enhance the quality of patient care. Hence it is necessary to identify various factors affecting the personal and professional life of female medical professionals and discuss ways to improve their WLB.
Methodology: A systematic review was carried out on the existing literature of WLB of Female Doctors and Nurses using the keywords Work-Life Balance, Hospital, Female Doctors, Female Nurses in three search engines: PubMed, Google Scholars, and Academia. The eligible articles were screened using exclusion criteria before being analyzed for the conceptual framework of the study.
Findings/Result: The review identified personal and professional factors affecting the WLB of Female Doctors and Nurses. The study also discovered various research gaps in the domain of WLB and offered several recommendations to help healthcare personnel improve their WLB.
Originality/Value: The systematic research yielded a clear picture of the WLB in the healthcare industry. The study also discovered a link between female healthcare workers' WLB and personal and professional issues, as well as various ways for enhancing their WLB. Implementing these methods in the healthcare industry can help medical practitioners become more efficient and successful, allowing them to provide the highest suitable care to their patients.

I-Three Learning Model (ITLM) to Improve Scholastic Performance- A Case Study
Get PDFThis manuscript introduces I-Three Learning Model (ITLM) intervention to build competency among scholastically backward children by facilitating easy input, processing and output of information. Child receives information through sensory path ways, learning ability is the capacity of the children to collect, process, retain and retrieve information. Children are unique in mental maturity and learning ability. Reasoning is influenced by the auditory, visual, kinaesthetic and tactile inputs. Competency of children with poor social and emotional skills, learning adjustment and academic performance can be improved by enriching their abilities connected to attention, self-learning, logical thinking, reasoning, adjustment, confidence, comprehension and problem solving. This manuscript is both descriptive and exploratory in nature. On the basis of standard Psychological Assessment, a child studying in the eight standard aged 14 years is identified to be poor in social and emotional skills, learning adjustment and academic performance. This case study is carried to derive the findings of these objectives and establishes that ITLM intervention has certainly improve capacity of receiving, processing and retrieving information in the children and recommends for the usage of model for building competency of scholastically backward students
Profitability in Commercial Bank – A Case Study of Nepal
No full textPurpose: Banking in Nepal is under the process of being systematized. Foreign aid is believed as key component for development in Nepal. This study aims to assess the impact, contribution and relationship of size, loans and deposit, inflation and capital on the profitability of the banks.
Design/Methodology/Approach: Secondary data from 2013 to 2019 from seven commercial banks along with the survey as primary data were collected. The correlation and regression along with ratio analysis have been used to assure a contributory association among return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE) and net interest margin (NIM).
Findings/Result: The size of banks is in increasing trend. The decreasing trend of standard deviation showed that the size of Nepalese commercial banks has lower variation in the use of total assets as the year increases. There is a negative relation between ROA and ROE with loan ratio, deposit ratio and capital ratio, while there is positive relation with bank size and inflation. However, in case of NIM, bank size, loan ratio, deposit ratio and inflation exhibit a positive relation while the capital ratio shows the negative relationship with NIM. Majority of the respondents feel that the publication of financial reports is one of the major influencing factors of bank profitability.
Originality/Value: It is an empirical research to signify the contribution of Bank Size, Loan Ration, Deposit Ratio, Capital Ratio and Inflation as determinants of Profitability.

An Inverse Kinematics Demonstration of a Custom Robot using C# and CoppeliaSim
No full textPurpose: Inverse Kinematics (I.K.) is not as easy as Forward kinematics (F.K.), where we get a definite result. I.K. algorithm provides several possible solutions. From those finding the best solution is such a critical task. For standard robots which are commercially available in the market, the user is not concerned about I.K.'s complexity. They provide the control board and programming IDE to make it easy. However, when we develop a robotic arm from our D.H. parameter and driver board, complexity arises due to lots of difficulties for executing and successful completion. To make life easy, keeping CoppeliaSim background can eliminate the calculation overhead and get good results. The custom robot is running with less computation power. It may be a good approach. We are using C# for User Interaction. Following step by step, anyone can create a robust I.K. engine with little effort. The complete code is available in GitHub to test and experiment further.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The data are propagated through Interprocess communication. For the user interaction, we use visual studio IDE using the most accessible language, C#. The user interaction data are sent to another application, CoppeliaSim, which calculates inverse kinematics, and effective results are displayed through robotic arm movement.
Findings/Result: Implementing this procedure can get the excellent result of the robotics arm. Furthermore, by imposing the Value on the real robot, we can get effective results. It minimizes the research overhead on I.K. calculation.
Originality/Value: Without knowing I.K. calculation complexity, receiving the Value, we can apply it to the real robot. Two issues we can solve here. One is the calculation, and another one is experiment overhead.

Creativity, Innovation, Sustainability, Motivation are some of the proven solutions for the same.
Research limitations/implications: The analysis and solutions mentioned in this paper are limited to companies whose business and annual turnover and experience are as close to Capgemini.
Originality/Value: This paper focuses on various factors and scenarios that have made the growth of Capgemini possible and taken it to the level of success.

As the history of project management reminds that most of the industries started to implement this concept by observing the success of mega engineering projects because of the effective utilization of project management concept.
Objective: This work is carried to understand the concepts of project management in software firms. To investigate the implementation and importance of these concepts and to know the role of project manager in managing the process in software development.
Design/Methodology/Approach: Kakunje Software Private Limited, Mangalore, provides excellent and state-of-the-art customized software and hardware solutions as per the necessities of customers. In order to manage the project activities CEO, CFO and CTO all together acts as project manager. The software development project management process starts by identifying needs and recommending solutions, which can be delivered to value its stakeholders. At the second phase the actual development will begin and the developed software will be tested according to customer requirements.
Findings/Results: Budgeting, cost management, finance planning etc., represented by CPM and PERT charts by using Microsoft Project and Atlassian JIRA project management software. The project resources, which are used to manage the project and allocation of technical staff are represented by histogram. With the help of Gantt Chart software development project schedule of 5 month are shown.
Conclusion: To manage Kakunje business in an effective and gainful manner, the company managed overall internal and external risks of the project. By using the project management software, the company condensed the project manager’s efforts and human errors to manage multiple projects.
