The Evolution of the Female from Suppression to Supremacy in the Select Novels of Postmodern Retellings of the Epic- A Review of Literature
Purpose: Man, in contrast to other creatures, is concerned with spiritual issues such as cognitive, social, artistic, and political concerns. A deep relationship has existed between faith and humanity since the dawn of time, if not before. The various religious and cultural beliefs are reflected in myths. As a result, the history of civilizations is primarily linked to and identified with mythology and religion. With the guidance of mythology and culture, people can better understand their world and the meaning of life. Thousands of years had passed since the epic narratives were penned. However, the astonishing stories continue to uncover conspicuousness in every genre of art and continue to engulf and overwhelm us even today. Epic narratives are still loved not only for their poetic grandeur but also for the highest philosophical principles they contain, which educate us about the art of living. As a result, the Mahabharata is one of the most important writings in Indian culture, and its stories, which practically everyone has grown up hearing, are still relevant today. It is a true embodiment of a useful scripture that offers the modern man with a traditional, moral, and liturgical grounding even in the contemporary society. It is not just a story of morality to be narrated from the generations, but an unending source of study. Plenty of critics have studied the text from many perspectives, still much remains to be discovered and researched. The study intends to read four new retellings of the Mahabharata novels and look afresh into the four powerful female characters, namely, Sathyavati, Gandhari, Kunti, and Draupadi. The study discovers the quest for self-crisis of the four prominent female characters by applying feministic study, power politics, and gender views. The study mainly focuses on the comparison and contrast between the concept of western and Indian feminism.
Methodology/Approach: The Literature Review is carried out by the information collected from different sources like educational websites, peer-reviewed journals, and online sources. The proposed research will be carried out relying on the data collected through research journals, doctoral thesis, scholarly articles, and websites. This qualitative approach is conducted mainly based on collecting, examining, and interpreting existing knowledge on the selected topic by focusing on the keywords "Feminism, Prominence, Relevance, Retelling, Self-Crisis, and Western". The methodology of the study is the textual analysis and comparative method.
Findings/Result: Vast reading of mythology will enhance the further areas of study. The gap between western feminism and Indian feminism helps to identify the discrimination of women in a clear way. The detailed study of the construction of gender views over the years makes it insightful about the issue. Discover that there is a connection between feminist studies with other theoretical frameworks. Modern retellings of the epic novels widen the scope and understanding of the original work. The scope and relevance of feminism in India are become more clear by comparing and contrasting the Indian and western concepts of feminism.

Role of Migrant Labours in the Kerala State Economy
Purpose: Migrant labour contributes to the economic growth of the economy. Agriculturalists, manufacturers, and service providers are increasingly turning to poor migrant labour for operations, according to field evidence and micro studies. Employers can practise a hire-and-fire strategy with migrant workers since they supply the most flexible workforce. Kerala has a large number of cyclical migrant workers. These workers have been crucial in keeping and growing Kerala's economy. The impact of migration of labour can be analysed in areas like the labour market, the public purse (tax revenue) and economic growth. The goal of this research is to see how much native labour is available in the rural labour market and to look at the current migratory worker structure.
Methodology: The methodology used in this study is Descriptive Research, which is mainly concerned with secondary data sources. Books, newspapers, journals, articles, and government websites are used to gather secondary data.
Originality: The breadth and function of migrant workers in Kerala's present labour market, as well as the availability of native labour in the casual rural labour market, are all discussed.
Value: By examining the sectoral-wise distribution of employment, the study will aid in determining the role of migrants in the Kerala economy.
Findings: In India, the rural labour market is shifting away from agriculture and toward secondary and tertiary industries. The overall employment in agriculture is declining every year whereas in the industrial and services sectors there is a gradual increase in the workforce. The lack of manual labourers is a key issue for the government. The influx of migrant workers into Kerala's labour market provided relief to the state's manual labour shortage since they provided a cheaper labour force. Migrant workers play a vital role in the labour supply and play a significant part to the state's economic development by imparting labour for a variety of economic activities that would otherwise be impossible to sustain owing to a labour shortage.

Analysis of the Aggregate Strength Variation along Different Sections of the River Basin
Purpose: There is high demand of aggregates material in the construction industry of Nepal. Till date, river borne aggregate material fulfills major part of the demand. Among various rivers, Biring River is one of the major rivers in Province 1. The objective of this research was to analyze the strength of Aggregate variation along the selected section river basin with a case of Biring.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The selected section of Biring River is about 20 Km of Arjundhara Municipality from which 6 sites along the river was selected on the basis of accessibility and deposition for aggregate sources. Lab Test for Physical properties and mechanical properties were conducted on that sample to evaluate their quality for the construction works. Also 18 cubes (3 each from 6 selected sites) were casted to evaluate their compressive strength variation. A linear relationship between the ACV, AIV and LAA value with longitudinal variation of river was established. Also the economic analysis of revenue collected by selling the aggregate of Biring River was done.
Findings/Result: After conducting the lab test of physical properties of aggregate, Fineness Modulus, Water Absorption and Specific Gravity were found in the range of (7.16-7.49)%, (0.72-1.15)% and and (2.616-2.712) %. A linear equation for the longitudinal variation in the LAA, AIV and ACV value was established. For a longitudinal variation equation for LAA value y=-0.352x+37.41 ACV value an equation y=-0.212x+29.88 and AIV value an equation y=-0.0189x+27.15 where y = Value of LAA, AIV and ACV value and x = distance in km from upstream origin point. The average compressive strength for 7 and 28 days of all cubes were found to be within standard required. The economic contribution of revenue collected by selling the river bed materials as aggregate of Biring River on the total internal revenue of Arjundhara Municipality was found to be significant that is about 30.86%.
Originality/Value: The study contributes that the aggregate material becomes more suitable in their hardness, toughness and strength on moving from upstream towards the downstream along the Biring river. The lower part of stream was assessed to have somewhat better quality of aggregates.
