The study conclude that the exist a strong negative and significant relationship between tax strategic behavior and financial performance and recommends that amongst others that companies should put in place appropriate tax strategic behavior that will decrease their tax liabilities and therefore improve their overall corporate financial performance
APPLICATION OF BIOSENSORS IN FISHERIES: A REVIEW ON REAL-TIME QUALITY ASSESSMENT AND MONITORING FOR SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE PRODUCTION
This manuscript provides a comprehensive review of the potential and utilization of cassava peel as a fish feeding redient. Agro-industrial activities in Indonesia generate substantial waste, including cassavapeel, which can serve as avaluable carbohydrate source in fish feed. Cassava is the third most important food crop commodity in Indonesia, and its productivity has been increasing over the years. Cassava possesses a good nutritional profile, with high starch content and energy value. Fermentation of cassava peel can enhance its nutritional value by increasing crude protein content and reducing anti-nutrients such as cyanide acid. Fermented cassava peel products have been shown to reduce reliance on imported feed ingredients and lower production costs without compromising fish growth. The utilization of fermented cassava peel waste presents a sustainable solution for converting agro-industrial waste into a suitable fish feed ingredient.
Effect of Calcium on the Growth of Melon (Cucumis melo L.)
Melon (Cucumis melon L.) is an important crop for the world economy, and it is one of the most valuable crops in the market. The cultivation of melon in Cambodia is still low due to the unclear use of varieties and the inappropriate cultivation techniques that cannot achieve high yields. This is the reason why this research is conducted. The objectives of this research are: 1. to compare the growth of melon varieties with calcium in Svay Rieng province condition, 2. to study the appropriate level of calcium fertilizer on melon yield in the supplementary stage, and 3. to study the fruit quality of the five melon varieties. This experiment was arranged into Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 4 replications and 20 treatments equivalent to 80 plots totallyat the Agricultural Station of Svay Rieng University. The results showed that the application of calcium fertilizer and foliar spraying once every 7 days resulted in the highest growth of melon plants. The use of different varieties showed that the melon varieties V4 (Lady Green = 547) and V2 (Lady Gold = 518) received the highest number of seeds. Thus, in summary, comparing the growth of 5 melon cultivars with 4 levels of calcium fertilizer, the results showed that the application of calcium fertilizer and leaf spray every 4 days, every 7 days, made the melon crop. Growth, yield, and fruit quality are excellent. The use of different varieties showed that only the melon varieties V4, V1, and V2 are the best
Examining the Health Benefits of Olive Oil: A Review Tailored to the Libyan Setting
The health benefits from olive oil are now a fact backed via laboratory experiments rather than a scientific hypothesis, epidemiological and clinical evidence. Plenty of epidemiological studies have correlatedthat the consumption of olive oil was associated with better overall health. In recent years, remarkable studies have been carried out to show the possible use of olive oil and derivatives for improvement of both animal performance and product quality. More Olive oils are produced and consumed in Libya. This review highlighted the most recent advances of medicinal value of olive oil', furthermore; this
review explores the most significant attributes of olive oil in health and pharmaceutical applications. For instance, reduced pure olive oil considerably lowers the risk of cholesterol- related and other vascular diseases. Also exhibits excellent pharmaceutical properties for curingoxidative damage linked to cancerand neurodegenerativediseases. Invivo application of olive oil and its derived products has shown to maintain oxidative balance owing to its polyphenolic content. In addition, this review highlights the medicinal, nutritional and food benefit of olive oil
Psychological Well-being at Work and Professional Motivation of High School Teachers in Douala
This study begins with the observation that primary and secondary school teachers have expressed discontent due to delayed payment of bonuses, lack of financial support even after several years of work, non-recognition of their seniority, and failure to implement promised career advancements. They have reached agreements with their administration to resolve this professional crisis, and some resolutions have begun to be implemented. This should ideally lead to a change in their attitudes in the classroom. However, it is noted that some of them continue to arrive late, fail to grade assignments, and are generally lax in the classroom. This raises the question: what are the reasons for this professional demotivation? The objective of this study is to verify if there is a link between psychological well-being at work and professional motivation of teachers. Dagenais-Desmarais's (2010) theory of psychological well-being at work enabled the operationalization of the general hypothesis into five alternative hypotheses. A quantitative design was employed, and data was collected through a questionnaire administered to 150 secondary school teachers in Douala. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman correlation, yielding the following results: for HR1: Rho=-0.308; HR2: Rho=-0.351; HR3: Rho=-0.134; HR4: Rho=-0.230; HR5: Rho=-0.324. The results confirm all our research hypotheses. Therefore, we can conclude that there is a significant link between psychological well-being at work and professional motivation of teachers
