عذاب ، آزمائش اور سماجی رویے: تحقیقی جائزہ
The pain and suffering of trial and punishment are physically the same, but in terms of spiritual condition, there is often a difference between the earth and the sky between them.Trials do not come to humiliate the righteous but to refine their abilities، Elevation is not possible without trials، Temptation is atonement for sins، The main difference between a believer and an unbeliever is that a Muslim endures grief by being a figure of patience and steadfastness, while a denier of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, so a man of courage, suffers from problems and shows ungratefulness and disrespect to Allah. Hanging on the trap of suicide, one suffers the eternal sufferings and torments of hell, which lives forever. When people live together in the form of a society, individual collective faults and defects take the form of crimes. When these crimes become part of national traditions, customs and habits, then the real culprits of this collective indifference are the individuals and the society Abandonment of the duty of enjoining good and forbidding evil, jihad for the sake of Allah and hatred of martyrdom, love of the world and following lusts are the source and cause of collective punishment, calamities and accidents. Trial is to give higher ranks in heaven while punishment is due to the calamity of sins Trial comes on the quality of faith while punishment comes on stubbornness, arrogance and insistence of sins Trial is the wisdom of Allah Ta'ala, while punishment is the masterpiece of Allah Ta'ala's power and vengeance
DECODING POLITICS, CLASS AND POWER DYNAMICS: A MARXIST ANALYSIS OF OSMAN HANEEF’S THE VERDICT
The present research study provides a Marxist analysis of Osman Haneef's The Verdict, exploring the intricate dynamics of politics, class, and power. The novel serves as a lens through which the struggles between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat are examined, highlighting the systemic exploitation and oppression of the working class. By analyzing the ways in which the bourgeoisie use legal, economic, and religious power to maintain their dominance, this study uncovers the mechanisms of control and marginalization that perpetuate class divisions. The novel also emphasizes the emergence of class consciousness among the oppressed, which is central to Marxist theory. Through a detailed examination of class struggle, alienation, and the labor theory of value, this analysis reveals the inherent inequalities of capitalist society as portrayed in the novel, shedding light on the enduring relevance of Marxist critique in understanding social and economic power dynamics. Haneef’s The Verdict powerfully explores the intricacies of class and power, depicting the persistent conflict between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. This analysis delves into various episodes within the novel where the bourgeoisie wield their power to oppress the proletariat, emphasizing the exploitation and domination carried out for their own advantage. Conversely, the proletariat endures ongoing oppression, marginalization, and discrimination, which are enforced through legal, economic, and religious structures. These oppressive experiences contribute to an increasing awareness of class, a key focus of the novel. Grounded in Marxist theory, this study highlights the theme of class struggle, which is fueled by the uneven distribution of wealth and power. Marx's labor theory of value is examined to expose the exploitation of labor under private ownership, leading to the alienation of workers from both their labor and society within the capitalist framework

صحابی کی تفہیم: اصولیین اور محدثین کے نقطہ نظر کا تجزیاتی مطالعہ
The concept of a "Sahabi" (Companion) holds significant importance in Islamic scholarship, particularly among the scholars (Uṣūliyyīn) and traditionists (Muḥaddithīn). This study examines the definitions and interpretations provided by both groups, drawing from the work of Allama Syed Shah Hussain Gardezi in his book Tafazaniya. Gardezi emphasizes that there is no definitive scriptural definition of "Sahabi" in the Quran or Hadith. Instead, the definitions emerged in the third century Hijri and are inherently interpretative, leading to inevitable disagreements among scholars based on their preferences, aspirations, and intellectual frameworks. While Gardezi upholds the Uṣūliyyīn's definition as more robust due to its inclusion of specific conditions that delineate the status of companionship, he also acknowledges the perspectives of the Muḥaddithīn. Despite this, he critiques their views for lacking substantial evidence. The study further explores the implications of these differing definitions, noting that strict adherence to certain criteria can exclude numerous companions from the esteemed status of "Sahabi." Ultimately, this research seeks to elucidate the complexities surrounding the definition of a Sahabi within Islamic scholarly discourse, highlighting the interplay between different interpretative frameworks

GENDER DYNAMICS IN PAKISTANI MEDIA CONVERSATIONS
This study assesses the gender aspects of Pakistani media interactions, specifically the gendered aspects of turn-taking in Pakistani podcasts and TV shows. It analyses interruptions, turn-taking, and language use between different combinations of genres and formats. Results show that despite the gender representation, males are still the most dominant in the reporting of TV shows, with dominance coming from the amount of time they speak, the level of interruptions, and a panel of men. On the other hand, the ‘power’ relations are more evenly distributed in the podcasts. However, the guest male members still have absolute control over the dynamics of the subject matter and provide comprehensive answers to the issues at hand. This study examines the problem of balancing cultural aspects and mediatised forms of conversation, pointing at the necessity to balance the representation of various voices and meaningful communication in a social context
