Punjabi is the prominent language of sub-continent. It is spoken in wide area of Pakistan. It reflects the Punjabi Culture of this specific area. Punjabi Culture is rich in its values, norms, traditions and rituals. The poetry of this language reflects all this. The long tradition of mysticism is also found in this area that is represented in the Sufi poetry like Khana Freed, Bulhy Shah, Baba Freed, Sultan Bahoo, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh and so many other poets. Urdu literature has been playing a vital role in Pakistan since 1947. It has given importance to justice, education and tolerance. Literature has a deep relationship with society. When a society gets a status then its literature also gains importance. In this research article an effort has been made to show the deep relationship between a society and its literature. Literature can lead a society towards improvement and social justice. Writers of literature are vital charactrers of any society. They not only lead a society in all circumstances but aslo fix a target to achieve for a nation. Deterioration and conflict prevailing in our society is due to the lack of tolerance. This menace can be cured by the help of literature. For this purpose our critics and writers are ready to play this role for the betterment of our nation

There was a complete harmony between Quaid-e-Azam and Muhammad Iqbal. They were united on the ideology and for the movement of the separate country for muslims. Quaid and Iqbal wanted to build Islamic State as per rules of Islam. Quaid always admired Allama Iqbal as scholastic and lawyer having status of "spiritual father of Pakistan". Quaid considered him as a friend, guide for muslims of sub-continent. Iqbal stood like a rock and never flinched during darkest moments of Muslim League and United Muslims of Calcutta and Punjab. Shafiq-ur-Rehman is renowned as humorous writer in the world of literature, with the different diction of pleasant simple and impressive writings. ’’بزم ِآرائیاں‘‘ ازکرنل محمدخان
Colonel Muhammad Khan was a greatest Pakistan Army officer and a war veteran. He also served in the Indian Army of the undivided British India and was a Veteran of World War II. He was a soldier, at the same time a novelist and also a great humorist. While serving in Pakistan Army, he wrote his first book "Bajung Aamad" which was a humorous autobiography. The success of his first book earned him critically acclaimed prominence among Urdu humorists. In 1974, he went on a tour of the UK and later published his account of the UK in "Basalamat Ravi". The most important of which is "Bazam Arayan". A collection of semi autobiographical short stories. His other books are "Badesi Mazah" and "Tasneefat-ekernal Muhammad Khan". He served as an Army officer during the period of 1930-1972. In addition to being the protector of a country he was also the protector of pen. There is no doubt, about it that such writers are born centuries later
