    Meer Taqi Meer, who is the "God of Poetry" has a Particular place in Urdu poetry. He portrays the colours of life in the form of poetry similarly he lived.     Iqbal's thought is a marquee of many virtues. To improve it, one must have full love for Iqbal. Many aspects of Iqbal's life are hidden in his letters. Though many experts of Iqbal wanted to collect and edit these letters, but this hard nut was cracked by Mr. Burni who edited and saved them in four volumes with extreme hard work and enthusiasm. Experts consider this work the most important and useful achievement which also shows Mr. Burni's expertise on the topic as there were no. of issues of dates, marks on them obscure the writing, Persian poems etc. He used his scientific insights and technical skills to complete this research work.     Mir Taqi Mir is one of those classical poets who introduced Urdu poetry to new topics and manners with his beautiful expression, style, imagination and modern perspective and for that, he was called "Khuda-e-shukan" and "Sartaj-ul-shura". Many wonderful poets like Mushafi, Nasikh, Ghalib, Haali, Sheefta, Hasrat Mohani, Majrooh and Yagana were appreciative of Mir Taqi Mir's greatness. The life of Mir tells a dreadful story of political upheaval, ecomomic revival, anarchy and loss. Delhi was in the midst of internal disparity and external attacks which had dismantled their culture, civiliaztion and grandure. Same disruption was present in Mir's personal life. The severity of these tragedies affeted his mental heath and his heart was full of sorrow which could be felt through his poems and Elegies, in perticular. Despite this, there is not much criticism and research done on his elegies. Doctor Masih u Zaman published a collection in Sarfraz Qomi Press Lucknow in 1951 with the name "Mirasi Mir". The elegies of Mir,not only reflect his literary excellence but also depict the psychological aspects of his personality. These elegies of Mir are also important for knowing the social life of people as they show of their mouring and other customs of that time. The following proposition of misfortunes will analyze the uniqueness of Mir's elegies by looking into the disasters, adversities and internal and external defeats of his life

    Mir Muhammad Taqi was an urdu poet of 18th century Mughul India,and one of the Pioneer who gave style to the urdu language itself. He was born in Akbar abad in a family of very modest means. Meer is generally supposed to be a poet of angst but his greatness lies in how he unravelled the existential dilemmas. One of the most remarkable features of his poetry is that he has expressed himself with complete Sincerity and disarming frankness on almost every aspect of life and leaving six divans of urdu and one of persian Ghazals he has left behind, apart of his mas masnavi, musddas, qasida, hajw and wasokht. He also wrote "Nukatushurra", "Zikr e meer" and " Faiz e meer", which ensure him a place of prominence in the annals of urdu literature as a poet, biographer and critic of sorts. He was one of the principal poet of the Delhi school of urdu Ghazal and is often rememberd as one of the best poet of urdu language
