No full textPakistan is a country with special culture, social and religious traditions. The ideology of Pakistan can not be ignored in the context of the establishment of Pakistan. This aspect is alsways considered in social evaluation. However, translation from different languages have paved the way of intellectual expansion and mental evaluation. Regardless of Arabic and Persian language translations, the translation of Western and Eastern literature including Europe, America, Russia, Japanese, Chinese, Saarc countries have introduced regard of the new colours of life. These translations can be brought under discussions by two statuses. First: People's intellectual, theoretical training and effort to determined direction. Second: Developing literary tastes to high creative writing. This article examined the impact on Pakistani Society of world literature from these two statuses. The scope of global translations is very broad some it is limited to global literary translations only.

No full textIn 2014, when the fifth book "Sham-e-Shair-e-Yaran" by the great Urdu Humorist Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Yousufi was published, many literary circles or certain media tried to make it controversial. Some said it was not printed with Yousifi's consent, some pointed fingers at its literary quality and some even called it Yousafi's "dustbin's trash" in opposition to those who arranged the publication of the book. However, the fact is that this book is in no way inferior to the standard set by Yousufi.
The article under review attempts to provide an unbiased analysis of the book as well as to give a reasoned answer to the objectionable arguments and objections of the protesters

Couple of her poetry collections ie. "Ankhen"and "NeendKa Rang" are published. As a result of bitter realities and experiences of life, her poetry overflows with female sentiments. All the calamities she suffered are reflected in her works. Urdu Nazm will never forget the uniqueness of Sara Shagufta ever.

He used Sanskrit, Arabic and Persian, similes and metaphors, allusions and compounds, obsolete and contradictory words. Therefore he is considered a master of style and an imam of unique fiction.

No full textGender discrimination in secondary level Urdu textbooks in Sindh province. Gender discrimination or inequality is to prefer one gender i.e. man or woman to another one. This behavior deeply affects the life of individuals.In this article, this point is discussed from different perspectives. The war of women rights in Europe, Islamic ideology regarding the equal rights of men and women, an embarrassment in the name of women rights in Pakistan, are the topics that are discussed in great detail. Moreover, there is a bunch of examples from different walks of life which speak about the inequality of men and women in their workplace.In the end, how the female writer's rights were stolen in the light of texts books, that are used to teach in various educational institutes have been discussed. Then few suggestions and directions are given on how one can get rid of this inequality and injustice.

No full textIn the 20th Century, postmodernism has emerged and influenced the society, economically socially and politically;. It has also changed the parameters of understanding the literature. In the history of literature, the position of the reader has never been acknowledged correctly However, postmodernism has given the importance to the reader ignored by the triangle of text, author and reader and presented the idea of content understanding and interpretation in the shape of the reader-based criticism. Wherein, the reader instead of depending on the assigned meaning understands an artifact according to his study, priorities, and mental abilities. Apparently, the reader-based criticism has caused the damage to the authority of the author but in reality, the variety and different interpretations of an artifact is an acknowledgement of the creative highness of the writer along with the reader and content. In this article it has been tried to extract the possible meanings by applying reader-based criticism on a Mirza Ghalib's verse. By this, the implementation challenges and advantages of such type of study have been revealed widely.

No full textSarwat Hussain is one of those Urdu Poets who are believed to be the most modern in terms of their look and countenance, not merely among their coevals and contemporaries but also in comparison with the arena of the previous era and they are recognized as “trendsetters”. Sarwat’s work still needs to be appreciated in a due manner. Although his Ghazals are equally significant, they aren't discussed here as this essay is solely an attempt to encompass different aspects of his novelty in his poetry and esp. in his metric/rhythmic poems and for this purpose, many of his important poems are analyzed and valued critically keeping his topics, techniques, and diction in view. Studying these poems’ text required both textual and contextual ways, and both are followed. Modern Poetry usually contains various layers of meanings and its decoding calls for a continuous process of envisaging the innate and distinctive characteristics of the poet’s demeanor which takes time and so is Sarwat’s case that his due appreciation not just hadn’t been possible before his untimely death but it is still awaited. This essay is an endeavor, a strive to pay the debt which is overdue by now.

In the under discussion thesis, stimuli, style and analysis of discussing biographies are described. These biographies are written with reforming point of view. Mostly biographic books are written with research method but they lack modern research technics. The important quality of discussed biographies is that they are also suffice the aims and objects of monastic literature

No full textAhmed Faraz`s poetry is replete with diversity of thoughts and attributes. His Poetry comprises diverse themes (Especially resistance and romance, etc), it has a specific artistic mode. He is wellversed in subtlety of language and expression. In this article, the reseacher has concentrated on those huroof (words) which Faraz has frequently used in his poetry. While using huroof (words), Faraz has completely observed the rules. In his verse, huroof (words) are used in such a manner that they are no more huroof (words), rather they seem an integral part of nouns and verbs along with the observance of rules and regulations. The use of words is specialization of Faraz`s poetry at a creative level.
