His contributions include four short story collections and a column collection, showcasing his mastery of language and depth of thought. This article honors Kamalzai's personality and literary legacy, highlighting his impact on Urdu literature.

Guided by the underpinning of Eco-criticism, the study investigates various poems of the Aftab Iqbal Shamim and traces how the poet incorporate the features of Eco-criticism.
Being influential figures of society, literati, poets and academic researchers bring into their creative ambit the conditions affecting their surroundings. However, it is surprising that Eco-criticism has not been a popular investigative field in Urdu literature in general and poetry in particular. The current study traces the important aspects of Eco-criticism-Biocentrism, Bio-community. The study finds that poetry has keenly brought into limelight the core issues of Eco-criticism. It analyses the poems both philosophically and critically. The primary sources are the original poems of the poet, secondary sources obtained from different libraries, books, magazines and the internet. The critical investigation reveals that the poet, through their poetry, not only introduce various dimensions of Eco-criticism, but also extend its scope through different environmental and societal perspectives.

In his 1970 book "S/Z," Roland Barthes presents a comprehensive analysis of five narrative codes that contribute to the structure and progression of a story. These codes, which encompass semantic symbols and cultural references, enrich the narrative by adding layers of meaning and complexity. Barthes also explores how the sequence of statements in a poem gradually merge to form a coherent whole. This paper aims to apply these codes to the Urdu novel "Khuda ki Basti" by Shaukat Siddiqui, a highly regarded literary work that offers a profound social commentary and intricately depicts the post-partition era in Indo-Pak. Through its portrayal of poverty and division, the novel sheds light on the harsh realities faced by its characters, who reside in a slum. It follows their arduous journey as they grapple with destitution, exploitation, and the erosion of societal values

Existentialism is a Philosophical theory or approach which emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will. Major themes of this philosophy are Existence precedes essence, Absurdity Nihilism, condemned to be free, lack of meaning in life, Absence of the hand of the power who create this world. Many writers in 21st century utilized existentialist streaks in their writings to depict the poor plight and helplessness of individuals in the society, among those Khalid Javed Mout Ki Kitab Khalida Hussain Kagzi Ghat and Musharaf Alam Zouqi Lay sans Bi Aahista and Murda Khana main Aurat are notable. Existentialist which are present in Dr. Arifa Shahzad’s Novel are discussed in this Article. Dr. Arifa Shahzad is one of the famous writers in the 21st Century. “Main Timsal Hoon” is the first Novel of Arifa Shahzad which is an Existential Novel.

This is depicted through character-driven plots where internal conflicts mirror broader societal tensions. Azad Kashmir is a region whose literature has multifaceted characteristics. In the poetic literature of Kashmir, there are influences of classical and modern literature as well as the effects of various literary movements. This is maintaining its identity despite the influences. The poets of Azad Kashmir have progressive elements, romantic elements, Islamic elements as well as the influences of literature from other worlds. The form of revolutionary ideas is prominent in the poetry of Azad Kashmir. These poets write for their love for their homeland, love for their soil, their culture and identity. There is no doubt that individually the influence of Urdu literature on the poetry of Azad Kashmir is significant, but there is no formal movement. There has been no such school of thought in Azad Kashmir that is directly related to the Urdu literature movement. Influenced, scattered trends can be found, but the effects of a regular movement are not seen. Progressive thought, romantic ideas, Islamic movement, Sufi and regional movement as well as Pakistan movement, Allama Iqbal, Hafeez Jalandhri and other poets. The influences on the poets here are individual. All these figures and movements have shaped the literary landscape of Azad Kashmir, influencing themes, styles and forms of Urdu poetry in the region. It is human nature that he often feels bored with the uniformity of the environment. To remove this effect, he wants some kind of change. This desire for change makes him willing to travel and he tries to overcome his boredom and by visiting new places. The desire to get more information about the history and geography of new countries and the manners and customs, customs and culture of the nations also made people to travel. A link in the same chain is the travelogue. In the history of Urdu travelogue, from the nineteenth century until now, various travel writers have been associated with the travelogue genre one after the other. One of the travel writers who have kept this tradition alive till date is Dr. Altaf Yousafzai. So far many of Dr. Sahib's works have come on the ground, but the literary genre that gave his name prestige is there is an itinerary. Three of his travelogues have been published so far. These travelogues of his are a great treasure for Urdu literature, from which the reader of literature is benefiting in a rich way. These travelogues are a testament to Dr. Altaf's services. Which is defined as the national language of nation. And where a national language comes into being, the concept of a nation as a collection of regional groups also emerges. Regional groups have their own unique identity with slight variations. Different regions also have different languages. Which is the source of their daily interactions. It is also important to note that regional languages are spoken within their own region and do not have any particular identity or function outside of it. . In this sense, their role is important and noteworthy in all respects. Thus, the linguistic and vocabulary strength of these regional languages is limited. In these situations, the national language becomes the language of communication and connects the region with the nation. We can say that although regional languages have their own importance, which cannot be denied in any way. But the importance of national language is many levels higher than regional languages because no matter how popular and well-known the regional language is, the national language becomes the means of communication at the national level. It is the only language with which the entire nation is familiar. Punjab is also very important in terms of grains as well as literature. Punjabi stories, folk tales, Punjabi poetry and Punjabi culture also have a special place in literature. . Colors of Punjab are reflected in literature. Punjab is also closely related to Urdu language. Various poets have combined the words of Punjabi with great beauty and elegance in their fictions. Apart from this, the connection between Urdu and Punjabi has been highlighted by the fiction writers in their fictions. Among them, Brigadier Nazir Ali, Mumtaz Mufti, Krishan Chandra, Rehman Maznab, Muhammad Khalid Akhtar, Sakina Jalwana, Balwant Singh, Ashfaq Ahmed, Qaratul-Ain Haider, Hafeez Ahsan, Anwar Zahidi and Mubeen Mirza are notable fiction writers.They painted the colors of Punjab on fiction. Even the village life of Punjab has been clarified. . Punjabi words have been used in such a way that every aspect of life in Punjab can be seen from them. We cannot find such connection of Urdu and Punjabi words anywhere else except these legends

Flashback is a technique that is the confluence of the past and present thinking of any poet or writer. In this, the author combines past events and recent observations and presents them to the reader by carving them with words. Throughout this process, the writer also uses tactics such as comparison with the foreground, his imagination passes through the past. In short, imagination is the force that can be echoed in all times in the form of flashbacks and flash forwards. As far as travelogue is concerned, a travel reporter travels through the past and the present, mixing his personal feelings and experiences during the journey, combining his personal emotions and impressions and the high flight of imagination. In such a situation, where the experiences of civilization come to the fore, the internal feelings of the travel reporter are also expressed. Dr.M. Altaf Yousafzai's travelogue ”تھائی لینڈ کے رنگ“ is not only a beautiful addition to modern travelogue, but in it, only the colors of culture but many colors of the author's self are seen around in the form of flashbacks.
