    The thesis is concerned to analyse the gradual criticism of urdu novel.It is examined after research that the criticism of Urdu Novel like literary criticism, instigated from prefaces and exordiums.Although its worth is only historical yet it is enough significant to include in early vestiges of novel.These initial notes extended about half of century.The criticism of later century can be divided into four parts.(1)Technical Studies (2) Thematic Criticism  (3) Criticism on novelists  4.Temporal and regional Studies. These readings are embellished with figurative language.There are multiple writings limited to teaching phenomena.However,the analysis,stimulated by voracious reading and keen concern in novel are also part of Urdu Novel's criticism.Thus,criticism of Urdu novel is such a vase in which different flowers are placed that leads to diversified forms of contemplation

    Lexical Borrowing: An Analysis of “Daily Dawn” and “The Nation”

    Borrowing is a typical term used for the process by which a language or variety receives material from other variety typically called “supporter language”. Borrowing does not mean to focus on the rented words but it also focuses on the other borrowed features of the language i.e. phonemes, morphemes and syntactic features. In addition, it is a traditional term having universally significance. Lexical borrowing is a process through which one language adopts the individual words. Furthermore, when two languages come into contact with each other and one language picks the lexical items from the other language however, the language which receives the words is called “recipient language”, and on the other hand, the language who shares the words is called “donor language”. This article presents a case study of  lexical borrowing in the light of two national newspapers of Pakistan “Daily Dawn” and “The Nation”

    This article is basically a critical interoperation of a religious myth, but it has a research sense in the historical context. It owns old text about the cultural history of Multan and Indus valley. The famous writers, Mirza Ibn-e-Hanif translated some old texts in Urdu which contributed to revaluate some historical and literary assumptions about the region called Sumerian civilization. Maloha and Dalmoon are two great symbols in literature woven in the olden days. This article analyses the symbols "Moon Land" with the help of the Ibn-e-Hanif Sibt-e-Hassan and M. Idress Sadiqui.
