الأخطل الصغير: شاعر الحب والهوى
Bishara Abdullah was born in 1885 in Beirut and died in 1968. He adopted the name of renowned Umayyad poet Al-Akhtal. He was so prominent and famous in the Arab world that after great contemporary poet Ahmad Shauqi, he was honoured with the title of the poet laureate in Beirut in a colourful ceremony in 1961 and he administered ‘Ba’ya’ as the poet laureate. His poetry revolves around three topics: Lebanon, 2 Arab Nationalism and 3 sufferings of mankind. The article presents his brief life sketch, poetic qualities, topics and views of his contemporaries about his work. Besides Al-Akhtal Al-Saghir, he is also famous with the name of poet of love and romance

Naseem-e-Layyah belonged to a far off city of Punjab Layyah. Naseem boasts of a plenty of poetical and literary dimensions. Along with Ghazal, Nazm, Masnavi and Marsia, genres such as literary Essay-Writing, Column-Writing, Translations, Dohra and Kafi seem to have become his identity. The present study deals with the critical as well as research and context-oriented aspects of Naseem's life and work.

The Inciting expression is meant sometimes to goad upon to do something and sometimes is used to forbid from doing something. This element has special meaning with reference to Arabic literature where it has been used abundantly both for goading and forbidding. The holy Qur’an too has employed it at many places. رشید امجدکی افسانوی تنقید
Rasheed Amjad is a renowned fiction writer of Urdu. He is also an established name in the field of Urdu Criticism especially of fiction. His critical work includes different aspects of Urdu fiction in term of technique and theory. After 1960, he wrote on symbolic Urdu fiction and presented his views in many of his critical articles. This article sheds light on Rasheed Amjad's views on Urdu fiction in light of his articles and books in this regard.
بیاض وارستہ: نقد وبررسی
Warastah was a prominent figure of Persian literature of the subcontinent in the 12th century. He is known as a scholar, critic, lexicographer and eminent writer. His work is an ample proof of his vast study and knowledge of primary literary sources of Persian language. Biyaz-e-Warsata is one of his note-worthy contributions. Its manuscript is available at the Sherani Collection, Punjab University library, Lahore. This Biyaz comprises verses of hundreds of classical and contemporary poets. The article is an effort to introduce the manuscript and determine its writer's status as a scholar of Persian language.

Badee al-Zaman is one of the renowned Islamic scholars of the 20th century. His work “Rasayl al-Noor” has been translated into many languages of the world. The article highlights the importance and inevitability of the prophethood in the light of Zaman’s books. His views on the meaning of prophethood, its importance and inevitability have been discussed especially prophethood of holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Moreover, it explores his methodology of affirmation of prophethood and consequences of its negation. The article includes discussions on Oneness of Allah Almighty, belief in the Hereafter, worship of Allah, welfare of humanity, salvation from wrong path, high morals with reference to prophethood incorporating excerpts from “Rasyal al-Noor”
أثر اللغة وضعا في استنباط الأحکام من القرآن الکریم
Profound knowledge of Arabic language including its rhetoric is a prerequisite to comprehend the holy Qur'an in its true sense. The Islamic jurists differed from one another in the interpretations and exigencies of the holy Qur'an due to the rich rhetoric and the wide linguistics diversity of the Arabic language and not due to their own inclinations or mindsets. Hence, it proves that in the derivation of the Qura'nic laws, the role of Arabic language is very much relevant and important.
واسوخت اور لكھنوی معاشرت
Wasokht is a typical genre of Urdu poetry. Like many other sub-genres within Urdu poetry, this genre is also Persian in its origin. According to a research, Mir Taqi Mir is the first poet of Wasokht in Urdu. The characteristic feature of Wasokht is the resistance and mutiny of the lover against the behavior of the beloved. This genre developed in Lakhanvi environment. So for as its structure is concerned this genre reflects in Musaddus , Musamman and Mukhammus. The present study is an attempt to highlight the Wasokht's Lakhnvi style.
CONTRIBUTION OF KASHMIR TO ARABIC LITERATURE
Kashmir has been a prominent seat of learning for centuries. People of Kashmir contributed to every field of knowledge. Though Persian remained an official language of Kashmir in the past yet Kashmiri have given special attention to Arabic language as well. Their renditions in Arabic language are of much importance and hence considered invaluable contribution to the Arabic language and literature. This article deals with the contribution of Kashmir to Arabic literature.
THE EARLY PERSIAN EPIGRAPHS AND PETROGRAPHS IN PAKISTAN
Persian language enjoyed the status of official language of the subcontinent for centuries. The local took special interest in it and used this language in every sphere of life. It is why that even epigraphs and petrographs were inscribed with this language. Today, Persian epigraphs are found far and wide in Pakistan. But many of them could not bear the climatic effect and lost their original shapes. Only some of them could survive and these survived epigraphs and petrographs are the focus of this article
