اردو تاریخ گوئی كی روایت اور داغ دہلوی
The composition of chronograms (Tareekh Goi) is an art based on numerical value of the letters. In 19th century it was so popular that almost every poet was not only well versed in it but also composed it in Persian, Arabic and Urdu languages to prove his poetic excellence. A famous Urdu poet Dagh Dehlvi also composed chronograms and rendered more than two hundred chronograms. The chronograms of Dagh are found in his three Diwans and various published and unpublished books. This article deals with this art form with special reference to Dagh Dehlvi's.
Abul Fath Busti: A Poet Philosopher
Abul Fath Busti, a Ghazvaniv poet of Abbasid era promoted philosophical thoughts in his poetry. He dealt with The Creator, the human being, life, death, spirit, soul, youth and social attitudes etc. He encouraged man to become a useful part of the society by discarding laziness, ignorance and luxurious living style. He not only infused the spirit of hope in his own age but its light is glowing unto the present age.

Syed Fateh Ali Gardezi was a great poet of Persian of the Sub-continent. He belonged to a family of Syed of Gardez, a town of Afghanistan. His grandfather settled in Punjab and earned high honour in the reign of Farrukh Siyar. He was known for his piety and was famous among people of Delhi as a saint. He authored many books on different topics but his Diwaan is considered to be a wonderful contribution in Persian poetry of that time.

Though the ancient Arabic poetry was not without meter yet Khalil bin Ahmed was the first Arab who discovered the meter and introduced it in Arabic poetry. After Khalil’s introduction of the meter, another interesting aspect of the Arabic poetry’s came forward and many a poet and scholar dedicated their energies on this topic. Hadith of the holy Prophet (PBUH) is a major source of guidance for the Muslim Ummah. The companions of the holy Prophet (PBUH) practiced the Hadith in a way as it became part of their daily life. They took pains to save the Hadith of the holy Prophet (PBUH) as they did in case of the holy Qur'an. It is why that the tradition of an organized and continual narration of the Hadith is strong and rich even in modern times. Books on Hadith literature have been compiled in different styles in different periods on the basis of the tradition set by the companions of the holy Prophet (PBUH). This article focuses upon the continuity of Hadith transcription from the period of the holy Prophet (PBUH) to the period of Hadith compilation.

There are considerable numbers of poets in Pakistan who have opted Arabic language to express their feelings and emotions in it. There is no denying the fact that to express in verse is more difficult as compared to prose. And that every native is not a poet of his/her respective language. Poetry is a God-gifted and an instinctive quality. Composing verses requires a lot of skills including grip on the target language, its different styles and other linguistic skills. Ibn e Batuta's name is proverbial in the history of travelogues.He traveled around the world in 14th century and compiled his travelogue'' Tohfatun Nazzar fi Ghraeb ul Amsar wa Ajaeb ul Asfaar'' which is called "Ajaeb ul Asfaar'' shortly. It is not only a travelogue but is the important source of the history of the world.It has been translated into a lot of developed languages of the world.It has been paid attention due to its historical importance in the literary circles of Urdu.Till now, it has been translated many times.Translators have written detailed comments with references along with translation of origional text and have pointed out its historical mistakes also.The discussions of those translations have been alluded to in this article.

This article focuses on the influence of Globalization on Urdu literature. The phenomenon of Globalization has penetrated not only in our society and literature but it also brought many transformations especially in literature by means of literary topics, genres, techniques and forms. It has been tried to present the impact of Globalization on Urdu in light of examples of 21st century Urdu literature. Modern Urdu literature is greatly influenced by the West under Globalization in terms of idea, forms, terminology, syntax and expression.
بیسویں صدی کا پنجابی زبان و ادب اور ڈاکٹر فقیر محمد فقیر
Dr. Faqir Muhammad Faqir is a 20th century renowned poet, author, researcher, critic, historian and above all, a lover of Punjabi language. He rendered valuable services to Punjabi language by compiling classical Punjabi literature along producing new prose and verse. He was given the title of "Father of Punjabi Language" and "The Omer Khayyam of the Punjab" by the literary circles. This article covers his literary contributions to Punjabi language and literature besides determining his status in 20th century Punjabi literati.
