نگاھی بہ ھنر شعر فارسی امام بخش صہبائی
Imam Bakhsh Sehbai was a great scholar, author and poet of the Subcontinent. He composed verses both in Persian and Urdu languages. He was a prolific writer and left behind him many memorable books on different topics. He was acknowledged for his scholarly achievements at home and across the Subcontinent and his books got published from Iran. He was a maestro of composing verses in Persian language. This article analyses Sehabi's poetic rendition in Persian on technical ground.

Ghulam Mohiyuddin Qasoori was a renowned religious and spiritual personality of the subcontinent. He was a great scholar, mystic, writer and poet. He was well versed in Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Punjabi. He composed his verse both in Persian and Arabic. He had composed a Qasida in Arabic language in praise of the holy Prophet (PBUH). He very aptly used words in it giving them innovative meanings which made this rendition a veritable contribution to the Arabic literature.

Persian preface of the Kashf al-Mahjub by Hazrat Sayyid Ali Hujveri has its own significant importance regarding Hujveri Studies. It provides some authentic information about the great author and his masterly work . It introduces the book, its theme and narrates the multi dimensional questions of Abu Said Hujveri which was a basic factor in compilation of the book. The rich content and simple and impressive style of the preface has been discussed in this article.

نثر فارسی دردورہٴ سلاطین مملوک (۶۰۲ ۔ ۶۸۴ق/۱۲۰۶۔ ۱۲۸۷م)
The Muslim Rule expanded to the outskirts of Lahore in the Ghaznavid Period. It was Qutbuddin Aibak, a slave of Moizzuddin Ghouri who was also chief of his army and heir to his kingdom, who established Mamluk's dynasty in Delhi and took it to the northern parts of India. Kings belonging to Mamluk dynasty learnt patronising literary activities from Ghoury royalty. Persian language and literature tremendously flourished in the Indo-Pak subcontinent in the reign of Mamluk. The article sheds light on the literary scene of that period especially in light of Persian prose written by the authors of the subcontinent in Mamluk's period

The erstwhile state of Bahawalpur was famous for its richness and peacefulness. The state delightedly patronized literary activities and literary figures. It is why there rose many poets and prose writers. Azam Bahawalpuri was one of them. He was the first poet of the state of Bahawalpur who had a diwan to his credit. He wrote many books both in prose and verse. Some of them are Jawahir Abbasia, Diwan Azam Bahawalpuri, Iqbal Nama, Maulood al-Nabi and Hulia al-Nabi (PBUH). Hulia al-Nabi is in Masnavi form which he wrote on request of notables of the state like Maulvi Muhammad Amin, Sheikh Raheem Shah, Qazi Pir Muhammad, Sheikh Abdullah and Mian Ilahi Bakhsh. This Masnavi is in four languages including Persian. Most of the verses are in Persian. The Masnavi was firstly published from Bahawalpur in 1879.

The treasure of hidden meanings can be discovered by interpreting its symbolic and metaphorical usage. In this article, metamorphosis of Tajulmoluk and its effects on the protagonist of Mazhab e Ishq has been discussed in light of psychological theories presented by Jung and other psychologists of his school of thought.

There are many poets of Urdu who employed mystical and metaphysical issues in their verse. Khawja Meer Dard's was an established example of such poetry. Shah Hatim had also written on the same topic. Hatim enjoyed a very high status among Urdu classical poets. He lived longer to compose poetry. He had written less or more on almost all aspects which made him distinguished among classical poets of Urdu. His poetic renditions are rich in mysticism like that of Khawja Meer Dard but with a different tone and tenor. At times it seems as if mystic colour especially oneness of God has been presented through various angles. This article deals with the mystic aspects found in Hatim's classical poetry along a comparison with Dard's.
حاتم طائی کی شاعری کے اخلاقی پہلو
Hatim Tai is a well known personality. Generosity is his claim of fame. He was also a famous Arabic poet and a respected chieftain of the pre-Islamic period. Books are replete with stories of his acts of generosity which made him an inspirational figure in history of the Arabs. Hatim is one of the rare breed blessed with high moral values. He always kept away from immoral activities prevalent in his time. He was so popular for his virtues that the holy Prophet (PBUH) also admired and esteemed him. Hatim is mainly famous for his generosity but the detailed account of chastity, truthfulness, supporting the oppressed, non-violence, hospitality, valour, fulfilment of promise, self esteem and contentment proves him to be a person of high morals and aptly he composed his verses on these topics.
مولاناجوہرکی غزل سیاسی جدوجہدکے آئینے میں
Muhammad Ali Jauhar is an important leader of our Freedom Movement. He has been instrumental in arousing political awareness among the Muslim. His dynamic and conspicuous political engagment eclipsed the poetic dimension of his personality. Nevertheless, he is rightly bracketed among the distinguished Urdu poets. Though the tradition of arousing political awareness is deep seated in the lyrical poetry, however Jauhar and his contemporaries especially Hasrat Mohani gave it a new orientation. Jauhar's lyrical flavour is drenched in politics, religion and nation, therefore his poetry reflects the agony of the Muslims. The concept of freedom is projected as the representative of the spirit of love in his poetry. Sacrifice---a dominant element of his personality reflects in the form of 'philosophy of martyerdom' in his poetry.
