    Mahmoud Shaban is one the renowned poets of modern day Arabic language. He is widely read and referred for his treatment of elements of natural phenomena in his poetry. He has composed on various issues but elements of natural phenomena are very close to his heart. Majeed Amjad is one of the great poets of modern Urdu. He has also written on natural phenomena. Many similarities are found in both Shaban and Amjad's poetry. This article is a comparative study of dealing of natural elements by Arabic poet Shaban and Urdu poet Majeed Amjad

    Mirza Adeeb is a famous writer of Urdu. He has written fiction, pen sketches and edited literary magazines. He is also known for his play writing. His plays not only cover Pakistani society's issues but also focus international issues especially of Arab world's freedom movement. This article is a study of Mirza Adeeb's two plays namely 'Fatima Barnavi' and 'Jamila'. The study also focuses the women's role in the fight against the brutal occupying forces and depicts their valor very successfully.

    Quratul Ain Haider's works and that of Arabic fiction writer Nawal El Sadaawi's coincide with each other in terms of thematic and intellectual depth. Specifically, many similarities can be traced between Haider's novel 'Gardsh-e Rang-e-Chaman' and El Sadaawi's 'Woman at Point Zero'. These famous novels depict the character sketches of the poor and marginalized women. Caught in the mire of adverse conditions and cruel patriarchal behaviors of society, these women are sexually exploited by the malicious bigwigs of the society. These women could be everything but prostitutes, but they lose their chastity due to their tragically oppressive circumstances

    Rasheed Hasan Khan enjoys a prominent status as a research scholar and editor in the field of textual criticism of Urdu literature. He abides by the principles of research and editing very strictly and makes no compromise on them. His editing of Sehr-ul-bayan ,Gulzar-e-Nasim - most prominent 'Masanviyat' in Urdu- and Masnaviat-e-Mirza Shauq is an ample proof of this fact. Besides, the editing of 'Dastan'- long tales in Urdu- in the perspective of their linguistic and literary qualities and then original and solid scripts with complete authenticity is another important achievement of Rasheed Hasan Khan. Hence, he is regarded as the  forerunner in the field of editing of Urdu manuscripts

    Maharaja Chandu Lal Shadan served as a prime minister of Hyderabad Deccan during 1833-1844. He was a great patron of Urdu language and literature. His generosity attracted Urdu poets and writers of the time to his court. Despite his official responsibilities, he used to organize and attend Mushairas on regular basis. He himself was a good poet and wrote a diwan in Urdu. This article tries to introduce and analyze the rare manuscript of his diwan found in British Library, London. The manuscript is still in a good condition. It is in complete form so far and therefore can be used as copy text for further reserach. The second manuscript available with Asiatic Society Library, Kolkata- India is incomplete but still is very important for a bibliographer

    The importance of advertising or product promotion in business and industrial world has long been established. A product has its life cycle; comprised of four stages, and it needs a particular advertising strategy in each stage of its life cycle. However, a few basic steps are relevant at every stage, as these can provide answers to some basic questions. A carefully designed advertising campaign aims the positioning of a product, and thus, creates an appeal for a specific product in the consumers. Positioning the product is relevant, particularly in the recent age of media intensification. This research paper highlights the strategy for making successful ads, with an emphasis on positioning of products and the words attached to it. It is obvious that the ads are reached to the consumers through media; however, the mode of production, the selection of a particular media and media planning are beyond the scope of this paper

    Shahnama e Firdousi represents Persian culture and history. The epic and myth, historical narration and the language give immortality to this fantastic piece of literature. The immortality of this creative work is evident from the modern thoughts and concepts being reflected in it. It also contains elements of modern day literary theory of Existentialism. The feeling of self existence, battle between good and evil sides of soul and reluctance against negativity of insight are expressed in Shahnama. This proves its relevancy to the present times
