شِکستِ نَارَوا کے توسیعی مباحث (بحوا لہٴ حسرت موہانی)
Shikast-e-Narava means improper discontinuation of diction in the pause of 'Caesurus Metres'. There are many aspects and types of it. Hasrat Mohani was the person who discussed it for the first time as a poetic defect in Nikat-e-Sukhun. Apparently, it is a prosodic matter and it should be analyzed in the perspective of prosody. However, it is also a matter of grammatical rules and regulations. Hence, it is necessary to judge it from grammatical angle because this drawback happens because of disharmony between prosodic and grammatical structures. It is due to the occurrence of Shikast-e-Narava that impropriety is observed in poetic rhythm and consequently aesthetic beauty gets spoilt. Therefore, a poet must avoid it completely. An extended study of Shikast-e-Narava has been presented in this article
