    Tarikh-i-Shakir Khani is one of the most important histories on Later Mughal period history form 1719-1761/1132-1173. It dwells on the reign of Muhammad Shah and his successors, down to the beginning of the reign of Shah’Alam II. Munshi Shakir Khan presented eye witness accounts of many incidents and narrated many rare and important documents in this book like accession of Muhammad Shah (1719-48) fall of Syed Brothers, reign of Ahmad Shah (1748-17), Alamgir II (1754-59), Shah Jahan III (1759-60), accession of Shah Alam Sani Ali Gauhar (October 1761-1806) proclamation of ‘Ali Gauhar Shah’ Alam in Delhi, and the defeat of the Sikhs by Ahmad Shah Durrani (1761). The article focuses Persian histriography with special reference to Tarikh-i-Shakir Khani

Alphabets of any language have been formed and derived to facilitate the human to communicate feelings, emotions and concepts. The Alphabets (Abecedary) are signs, symbols and representatives of different meaningful human sounds. The word formation is based on Alphabets.     Syed Suleman Nadvi was a renowned literary personality of the Subcontinent. He was a biographer, researcher, historian, letter writer, linguist, Muhaddith, critic and travelogue writer. Besides editing journals like Al-Hilal, Al-Nadva and Muraif, he penned a number of books on various topics. He travelled to Afghanistan along Allama Iqbal and Sir Raas Masod on the invitation of King of Afghanistan Nadir Shah. The basic purpose of the visit was consultation for establishing educational system in Afghanistan especially the University of Kabul. Resultantly, Sir Raas Masod wrote some essays on education while Allama Iqbal composed his famous mathnavi Musafir and Syed Suleman Nadvi came up with a travelogue under the title of Sair-e-Afghanistan. This article is a special study of Nadvi's Sair-e-Afghanistan

    Twenty-first century's modern Urdu poem depicts strong feminist consciousness and elaborates variety of topics and themes related to issues faced by women in this region. These poems deliver an impression of negation and condemnation against all those social and ethical codes of discriminative behaviour which try to seize women rights and freedom. This modern feminist trend in 21st century's Urdu poem, expresses high magnitude on the both ends of behaviors, on the one side it mourns on deprivation of women's basic rights and on the other, shows strong rebellious behavior against this gender discrimination
