Folk poetry of Bulleh Shah is a creative expression of a mystic’s spiritual evolution whose ultimate destination is Divine Presence. He achieved the stages of self-annihilation and self-subsistence with utmost Divine love and intuitive realization of knowledge inherent in God. Metaphysical facts bestowed by gnosis, reflects the Divine unity among all beings of the world perfectly manifested in human self. Bulleh Shah expresses universal brotherhood, love, tolerance and peaceful coexistence through his Sufi metaphysical thoughts. These universal human values help to broaden the meanings of life and existence

Feminist movement had its impact on literature besides social, economic, political and psychologcal sciences. Several contradictory theories came forword in the western literature with reference to this movement. The female Urdu Pakistani poets have also got impacted by feminist theories. They have written within the context of these theories and discussed the economic, social and cultural changes taking place at local and international level. After the creation of Pakistan, feminist self conciousness appeared as a dominant trend in the poetry of almost all the female Urdu poets. The study of changing feminist consciousness in female Urdu poets of Pakistan has been helpful in understanding the artistic, intellectual and stylistic changes taking place in Urdu nazm/poetry
اکبر حمیدی کی خاکہ نگاری کا تنقیدی جائزہ
Akbar Hameedi was not only a poet but also a good sketch writer of Urdu language. He wrote two books on sketch: Qadd-e-Adam and Chhoti Dunya Baray Log. He covered literary as well as common folks in these books. Captivating style of narration of unknown people is the salient feature of his sketches. It is rather difficult to write pen sketches of one's family members, but Hameedi wrote very striking character sketches of his close relatives, and instilled life in them. He also highlighted social and cultural aspects of rural life through these sketches

Kashmir is famous for its natural beauty. It became prominent for its flourishing Islamic culture especially in the reign of Sultans. The Muslim saints played very important role in the spread of Islam and its civilization during 1339 - 1585. The traits of Islamic civilization such as Tauheed, Equality, Culture, Literature, Architecture, Calligraphy, Handicrafts and Language greatly influenced Kashmir and paved the way for spread of Islamic civilization. Sultans’ period is also characterized with rights of women, economy and education in Kashmir

The state of Bahawalpur was a very rich Muslim state. Its rulers were generous and fond of not only knowledge but also learned personalities. They encouraged literary activities on large scale by rewarding and valuing poets and authors. It is why a large number of writers travelled to and settled in Bahawalpur. The article is an effort to bring forth the patronage of the royal family of Bahawalpur and their endeavors to promote learning especially of Urdu language and literature. The article is divided into three parts and sheds light on Urdu literary activities carried out by locals, settlers and immigrants
حسن عسكری كی تنقید میں حالی كے مباحث
Hasan Askari is a modern critic, translator and fiction writer. He has expressed his specific views on the poetry and criticism of Hali. He has discussed Hali in an extraordinary way, because his thinking and attitude towards Hali is not formal and imitative, but is patriarchal. Instead of following Hali blindly, Askari has invalidated his popular literary ideas. Hali is a moderate, while Askari is a rigid critic. Hali evaluates and suggests the western literature as an imitable model for innovation and development of oriental literature, Askari imposes a condition of cultural sensibility on it and also wants to revive the eastern tradition in oriental literature. Moreover, Hali advocates the slogan of Art for Life sake, while Askari believes in Art for Art's sake.So theoretically, these are the points that distinguish them.The same points also exist as distinctive features in Haliyat of Askari.The article presents Haliyat of Askari with the same distinctions

The history of short story writing in the Kashmiri language goes back to the middle of the 20th century and that too under the influence of the Progressive Movement whose primary objective was to portray the true albeit harsh reality of modern day life. When the modernist literature reached Kashmir, socio-economic and political situation in Kashmir was rich for its acceptance. Kashmiri writers and poets were greatly inspired by the Progressive Movement and they began writing short stories on the real issues of modern day in the Kashmiri language
سید ابراہیم ٹھٹھوی کی شرح مخزن الاسرار کا تنقیدی جائزہ
Makhzan-ul-Asrar is the first and the foremost of the Khamsa-Five narrative poems- of Nizami Ganjwi. Makhzan-ul-Asrar, one of the most illustrious and outstanding elegant mystic poems in Persian, has both perfection of language and grandeur of thought. This poem was widely appreciated and warmly welcomed in literary and mystic circles of the Subcontinent, especially during the reign of great Mughals. Syed Ibrahim bin Ismail Thathwi-a Qazi and Mufti of Shah Jahan's period, wrote a significant commentary on Makhzan-ul-Asrar in 1628 AD-1037 AH. Its nineteen handwritten manuscripts are available in Pakistan, and three of which are kept saved in the Central Library of Punjab University, Lahore. These three important manuscripts are being introduced in this research paper

Lalla Arifa is the first great Kashmiri saint poetess, who defied social conventions and proceeded on the journey of self-realization. She was the pioneer of the style of mystic poetry in Kashmiri literature. Her poetry is an emblem of humanism and a treasure of wisdom, faith, love and truth which is unmatched till date. This paper highlights her poetical contribution to enriching mystics/spiritual traditions and her profound impact in shaping Kashmiri society

Munir Niazi is one of the leading modern Urdu poets. He is prominent among his contemporaries. His individuality pivots on his keen interest and observation of issues related to modern age. He is not a follower of the trends set by others rather he crushes them to tread his own way. He does not compromise his individuality as well as his liberty which can visibly be traced in his verse. Since he has comprehensive understanding of issues, confusions and complexes faced by modern man, he has addressed them in a befitting way.
