    Process of creating an Electronic Identity Card : Implementation of Population Administration service’s at the East Sumba Population Office of Malang State

    The purpose of this study is to explain and assess the creation of an Electronic Identity Card (e-IC), which was implemented at the East Sumba Population Office in accordance with the provisions of Constitution Number 24 of 2013, which replaced Constitution Number 23 of 2006. The research approach employed is qualitative, outlining the implementation of the creating IC policy in explicit, methodical detail. The Head of the Office of E-IC Making, the Secretary of the Service, and Employees served as the information source, and the data used in this study were both primary and secondary data with research subjects consisting of the Head of the Office of E- IC Making, the secretary of the service, and employees at the East Sumba Population Office, which are directly related to the developing of electronic identity cards. Then the data that can be analyzed and interpreted through the picture is obtained. The results showed that the speed of making electronic identity cards at the East Sumba Population Office was quite good, the speed of making e- IC, in terms of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. In terms of communication, it is pretty good. The employees have socialized with the community about the importance of making e- ICs. In terms of resources, it is still not good because the existing staff is still lacking, so it can be slow to make e- ICs. In terms of disposition, it is pretty good; employees have carried out their duties with a good attitude in carrying out their responsibilities. In terms of the bureaucratic structure, it is pretty good; they already have their respective fields in manufacturing electronic identity cards

    Determination of Reservoir Capacity from Catchment Area of the Proposed Dam in the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Nigeria

    A proposed dam is to be built at a North Core watershed of the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi. Reservoir capacity based on the mean inflow from the catchment yield into the proposed dam was assessed. The hydrological soil group of the area was studied. Mean annual rainfall for a period of 31 years (1987 to2017) was used to determine the runoff from catchment areas. Reservoir capacity was estimated using an analytical, mass curve, and residual mass curve methods. The area of the catchment was 8.82km2. The mean annual runoff from catchment areas was 1222.59mm. The mean annual catchment yield (inflow) was 10,783,243.8m3. Cumulative inflow was used to prepare mass curve inflow into the reservoir at drafts 60% and 80% on the cumulative draft line, superimposed on the cumulative mass curve. At draft 60%, reservoir capacity of 9,513,000m3 resulted; at draft 80%, 10,549,000m3. The residual mass curve of the inflow from the catchment area at a draft of 60%, gave a reservoir capacity of 3,632,000m3, while 80%, gave 4,426,000m3. An annual sediment discharge of 1302.02 tons was expected. A reservoir capacity of 11,000,000m3 was recommended for the proposed dam. Installment of an upstream sedimentation basin, soil conservation systems, vegetative screenings are recommended to reduce sediment load into the reservoir.

    The problem of waste, especially at the household scale, is no longer a new phenomenon in urban areas and is not a problem that can be underestimated, but trash has become a fairly complex problem that requires difficult handling. This is due to the breakneck pace of development, which will significantly affect the condition of environmental cleanliness. When viewed from a health point of view, waste management efforts are significant because cleanliness is one of the elements necessary for the maintenance and improvement of public health status, which ultimately affects the community's quality of life. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of household-scale waste management policies concerning Regional Policies and Strategies for the Management of Household Waste and Household Waste Similar to Household Waste carried out by the Batu City Environmental Service; To describe and analyze the driving and inhibiting factors for the implementation of household-scale waste management policies carried out by the Batu City Environmental Service. The research method was carried out in observation, interviews, and informal conversations, all of which were sources of qualitative data. The most commonly used data sources are observations, discussions, and documents, sometimes used together individually. The results show that the Batu City Government supports the implementation of household-scale waste management by issuing regulations in mayoral instructions and participating in every household-scale waste management activity. In addition, there is a Standard Operating Procedure in household waste management

    Stunting Describes chronic undernutrition status during growth and development since early life. Indonesia still faces nutritional problems that severely impact the quality of human resources. Based on the number of toddlers in the Turen Sub-district, the number of stunting in 2017 was 1203, 2018 was 1855 in 2019 as many as 2063. Efforts made by the local government issued Malang Regent Regulation concerning Stunting prevention efforts. This study aims to determine the implementation of Malang Regent's regulation  regarding stunting prevention efforts in the Turen District. This research helps increase public knowledge and insight about stunting prevention in Turen District. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with secondary data collection techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are the implementation of the Malang regent's regulation  regarding stunting prevention efforts in Turen District is still not optimal because there is still a large number of stunting in Turen District, as well as sanitation and clean water development and there is still no special team of Turen Health Center in preventing stunting in Turen District. And also the administration of Fe tablets which is still not evenly distributed. Integrated Healthcare Center administrators and those directly related to the stunting problem, as well as sanitation and clean water development and there is still no special team of Turen Health Center in preventing stunting in Turen District.     The COVID-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia at the beginning of 2020 significantly impacted health, socio-culture, and economy. Various prevention and handling efforts involving all components of the nation, from the center to the village, have been carried out to reduce the number of fatalities and losses that are getting bigger. This condition makes the town have to change the Regional Revenues and Expenditures Budget Village (APBDes)sourced from village funds to handle the pandemic. The research was conducted in Panggungrejo Village, Kepanjen District, Malang Regency. This study aimed to describe and analyze how the implementation of village fund management policies during the COVID-19 pandemic in Panggungrejo Village, Kepanjen District. The data collection technique used in this research is observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Then the data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a theoretical approach that is by the existing problems and adapted to the arrangement of the data presented through the stages of data collection, data presentation, condensation, and conclusion/verification. The village fund management policy implemented by Panggungrejo Village, Kepanjen District, Malang Regency is based on George Edward III's theory related to elements of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure that implementation is on track, meaning that the Panggungrejo village government has fulfilled these elements, Kepanjen District, although there are still some shortcomings. . The communication built between policymakers and policy implementers is adequate. The bureaucratic structure of the village apparatus has a high commitment to dealing with the pandemic; the disposition is evident so that the instructions for implementing policies are carried out correctly. Externally, the synergy of vital stakeholders has made the procedure very well supported

    Study of Structural Analysis of Damaged Concrete Beams Strenghted with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer

    It is necessary to repair the cracks in the concrete structure to prevent further damage that can lead to the collapse of the structure. Repairs can restore and increase the strength of structural elements so that they are able to withstand the load in accordance with the design load, finally further decisions can be made for the next function. The results of the flexural strength test of K-150 collapsed concrete beams were 100% able to withstand a load of 58 kN, K-250 collapsed 100% able to withstand a load of 64.33 kN, K-150 coated with CRFP tensile part collapsed 100% able to withstand a load of 82 kN, K -250 is coated with CRFP, the tensile part collapses 100% able to withstand a load of 91.67 kN, the quality of K-250 collapses 60% is able to withstand a load of 39.17 kN. K-250 strength concrete beam collapsed 60% maximum CRFP repairable to withstand a load of 87.67 kN. For testing of concrete beams with f'c quality of 20.71 MPa, 100% collapse with a maximum average of 29.00 MPa. The flexural strength of the concrete beam with f'c quality is 20.71 MPa, 60% collapse with an average load of 19.00 MPa. For the flexural strength of the f'c 20.71 MPa concrete beam, improvements were made to be able to withstand an average load of 52.86 MPa. Analysis of the test results by increasing the area and CRFP can increase the bearing capacity of concrete blocks. If in construction work there is a doubt from the user about the portal being built, then CRFP can increase its flexural strength

    Scientific evidence is one of the fundamental principles of dental practice. Evidence-Based Dentistry (EBD) integrates the use of the best evidence by taking into consideration the expertise of clinicians and the needs and preferences of patients to inform therapeutic decision-making. Therefore, the practitioner needs to acquire this skill. Considering the constant development of new therapeutics, and technologies and the demand for quality of treatment in contrast to the lack of training in this field, the integration of EBD in the curriculum has become a necessity. Our work aims to define the interest of EBD, to make an inventory but also to highlight the applicability of evidence-based dentistry by focusing on the organizational aspect and the various constraints that can accompany the integration of EBD in the learning of dental students. Materials and methods: A search and review of the literature were conducted to highlight the importance of the acquisition of this skill and its application in the field. Results: The integration of critical thinking and EBD into the undergraduate curriculum prepares graduates to maintain a state-of-the-art evidence-based clinical practice. EBD has the potential to change the future course of oral health education, patient care, reimbursement, research programs, and evidence-based health policy

    Study of Adequacy of Drainage Channels in Suburban Residential Areas: A Case Study of Residential Wirolegi Regency 2 Jember City, of Indonesia

    Wirolegi Regency 2 Housing is located on the outskirts of the city which is located in Pakusari District, Jember Regency, when there is quite heavy rain, puddles of water often occur, this is caused by environmental damage. The impact of environmental damage can be of various kinds, one of which is due to climate change. In the dry season, it can have an impact on drought and in the rainy season, it can have an impact on flooding. When there is high rainfall, it has the potential to cause flooding in the residential area. Another factor is the condition of the existing drainage channels which are inadequate and affect the occurrence of flooding in the housing area. On the basis of the above, it is necessary to conduct a research entitled "Study on Adequacy of Drainage Channels in Suburban Residential Areas". From the results of the study, it was concluded that the watershed in the residential area of ​​Wirolegi Regency II Jember has a watershed area of ​​148.75 km2. The value of rainfall intensity at the 5-year return period is 9.02 mm/hour, the design flood discharge value is 12131.7 m3/second, the runoff discharge value is 1473.8 m3/second, the total discharge is 157.280 m3/sec, dirty water discharge is 7.058 m3/second, total capacity discharge is 84.7 m3/second. For the drainage network, there are primary, secondary, and tertiary canals, totaling 3 outlets where all outlets lead to rivers. For channels that are not able to accommodate discharge, namely channels F, G, H, I, J, K, L, and M channels. For channels that require repairs, the dimensions of the channel are changed from 0.8 meters to 1 meter. It is recommended for each housing estate to pay attention to the discharge flowing in each channel by using a calculation formula that is in accordance with the conditions and criteria requirements of the formula and method used

    Development of a smart liquified petroleum gas stove with real-time protection and notification using IoT : A Case Study of East Africa region’ Domestic users

    The world is advancing technologically in all sectors including the use gas as cooking energy. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is one of the gases used for cooking. The use of LPG by cooking protects the environment against deforestation and air pollution. But people are not very comfortable using it due to some issues related to the manual frame regulation that sometimes cause fire sparks, manual switch and LPG cylinder explosion that are causing many accidents in daily life. The previous related works reviewed have provided some solutions like alerting notifying and closing the Gas flow while there is a Gas leakage and auto fire extinguisher system against the fire caused by that Gas. But still, those solutions did not help users to maximize the benefits of using that gas.     Study of Impact of HfO2 gate oxide on the Electrical Characteristics of Nanowire Junction less Transistor

    This paper proposes hafnium (IV) oxide (HfO2) as gate oxide material of the nanowire junctionless transistor (NJT) to replace conventional silicon dioxide (SiO2). Leakage current usually increased due to an increase of tunneling of electrons in the SiO2 transistor when the thickness oxide (tox) of the gate material is below 2nm. The main advantage of HfO2 is a high dielectric constant k of 20 to 25 which is almost 6 times that of SiO2. Similarly, HfO2 has an energy band gap of 5.3 to 5.7eV. As a result, low leakage current and short channel effects (SCEs) were experienced. An increase in the gate capacitance of the device leads to improving the performance of the device without affecting the enhanced leakage current. All these were achieved by designing and simulating the device using the SDE tools of Sentaurus TCAD. Electrical characteristics were extracted using the Service tools of the software. The performance was significantly increased to approximately 1010 using HfO2 material
