A Study on Effect of Climate Change on Vegetable Production Technology in Ujjain Block of Ujjain District (M.P.)
Climate change is a statistical variation in properties of the climate system that include in global temperature, rainfall, sunlight, precipitation etc. Agriculture production depends on environmental, varietal and management factors. Climate plays a major role as its positive and negative impact immediately influences crop productivity. Improved and sustainable agriculture technology according to forecast based, agro advisories and full information about factor effecting of climate change are more useful to reduce vulnerability and improve adoptability of agriculture to climate change. In Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh major vegetable crops grown are Tomato, Okra, Sponge gourd, Bottle Gourd, Brinjal, Chili, Cucurbits etc. In vegetable growing areas of Ujjain, many factor are available which directly connected with climate change and like average temperature increase, change in rainfall amount and pattern, change in climatic variability. This study conducted in Ujjain District of M.P with 120 vegetable growers. Major finding of the study is maximum percentage (37.50%) of vegetable growers adopted Pulses-Potato-Colocasia vegetable pattern. This vegetable pattern replaced old vegetable pattern of Okra- Garlic- Onion in vegetable production due to climate change. 
Consumer Buying Behavior of Selected Vegetables through Online Purchase – A Case Study
In India organized retail was growing rapidly throughout this era, because of the socio-economic status, so that the e-commerce sector improving fast. Development of technologies and the lifestyles lead to a different dimension of shopping at their doorsteps. Globalization, reach of the internet and smartphones made it positive. Vegetables were purchased through online was developing in metro and some of the non-metro cities in India. The study focuses on the consumer buying behavior towards online purchasing of vegetables and various factors influencing it. The result showed that education, income level, and some other factors were the major driving aspects of the online purchase of vegetables. Majority of the sample respondents were female, middle-aged (20-30), graduated and employed as professional workers and business. Two members were working nuclear families respondents purchasing at a convenient time with monthly expenditure of above 1000 rupees. 
Manipulation of Source – Sink for Higher Yield through Foliar Nutrition in Black Gram (Vigna mungo (l). Hepper)
A field experiment was conducted at Agricultural College and Research Institute, Killikulam during November 2016 – January 2017 to study the effect of foliar nutrition on the alteration of higher yield in black gram (Vigna mungo (L.) Hepper). Blackgram CO6 was used as the test variety. The experiment was laid out in Randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. It consisted of nine treatments in which DAP, Urea, TNAU Pulse Wonder, Borax, Ammonium molybdate, Salicylic acid, Triacontanol and Polyfeed. The results revealed that application of RDF + foliar spray of 1% TNAU Pulse Wonder recorded significantly higher yield attributes viz., number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod and seed test weight and finally the grain yield of 692 kg ha-1. It was followed by by the application of RDF + foliar spray of 2% DAP. The grain yield increases with these two treatments were 22 % and 19 % over the sole application of RDF (449 kg ha-1).1  
INFLUENCE OF INTERCROPS ON INCIDENCE OF SHOOT AND FRUIT BORER, Leucinodes orbonalis Guenee
Studies were taken up to understand the chemical ecology of Leucinodes orbonalis usingintercrops. Studies on Intercrops coriander and cluster bean in brinjal caused reduction of L. orbonalisdamage in the main crop. The mean of shoot damage observed in coriander intercropped plot was 6.19 percent and was 8.05 per cent in cluster bean intercropped plot whereas in sole crop damage reported was 14.48per cent. The Fruit damage observed was 57.52 per cent in sole crop and was only 37.16 per cent in corianderintercropped plot and 50.64 per cent in cluster bean intercropped plot. To identify intercrops as a “pushfactor strategy” in L. orbonalis management, coriander and cluster bean crops were evaluated
Effect of NaCl on Growth and Mineral Nutrition of Laurel (Laurus nobilis L.)
Laurel, Laurus nobilis L., is a strict endemic species of natural vegetation of theMediterranean region which is known for its medicinal, aromatic, forestry, ornamental and culinaryproperties. This has resulted in the species becoming rare or threatened with risk of extinction inTunisia. Many factors can affect the production of this valuable plant including salinity, whichappears to be most important, mainly in coastal areas. The present work has been carried out to testthis hypothesis. The effect of different concentrations of NaCl (0, 50, 100 and 150 mM) of irrigationwater on growth, SPAD index, chlorophyll fluorescence and mineral content of laurel was studied. Theexperiment was carried out in Tunis, in the year 2013. The results revealed that increasing NaClconcentrations significantly reduced fresh and dry weight of certain organs of the plant, SPAD indexand chlorophyll fluorescence compared with the control. Application of NaCl induced also an increasein Na, Cl, K, P and N contents in leaves while Ca content decreased with increasing salt stress. Basedon the present results, it can be concluded that laurel is an intermediate salt sensitive shrub
GROWTH PERFORMANCE OF EURYCOMA LONGIFOLIA ON TWO DIFFERENT BRIS SOIL SERIES AT SETIU, TERENGGANU
A study was conducted to compare the growth performance of Eurycoma longifolia which wereinterplanted with Acacia manguim, Acacia auriculiformis and Acacia hybrid stands at two different BRIS soilnamely Rhu Tapai and Rhu Dua in Setiu, Terengganu. This is a first agroforestry project where commercialtimber species were intercropped with a valuable herbal plant, Tongkat Ali (E. longifolia) on poor sandy soil. Apromising growth rates were obtained for E. Longifolia grown on both soil types. An average height anddiameter obtained at Rhu Dua were 0.86 m and 14.80 cm respectively while for Rhu Tapai soil types were 0.77m and 14.76 cm respectively. Similarly, the average root length and root dry weight for Rhu Dua were 3.25 mand 11.87 g while at Rhu Tapai soil type were 2.99 m and 11.42 g respectively. The results indicates that there isa potential of exploit and developinging BRIS soils for commercial cultivation of E. longifolia with othercommercial timber species
Effects of Fertilization on the Fatty Acid Content of Oil Flax
The paper presents the results of a two-year experimental research of two varieties of flax oil and population in twolocations (Ćojluk and Ostrožnica, Bosnia and Herzegovina), with the aim of determining the variability of seed yield, oilcontent and fatty acids composition in oil. The experiment was set in field conditions by using random block schedulewith four repetitions. The common technology of flax cultivation is applied, without chemicals, but with differenttreatments of fertilization: T1 - control, T2 - fertilizer, T3 - organic fertilizer, T4 - bacterial fertilizer and T5 - organic +bacterial fertilizer. Two varieties of flax were used for the research: Mikael, Biltstar and population Vrtoče. Wedetermined statistically significant differences in seed yield, oil content, and fatty acid composition, in relation to year ofresearch, location and fertilization treatments. The presence of five most significant fatty acids was processed, C16:0,C18:0, C18:1, C18:2 and C18:3, and whose content and interaction in the seed significantly depend on fertilizationtreatments. 
Contribution of Fisheries to Food Security- A Review
The oceans have historically been considered limitless and thought to harbourenough fish to feed an ever-increasing human population. However, the demands of agrowing population, particularly in poorer countries, now far outstrip the sustainable yield ofthe seas. At the same time that fishing has become more industrialised and wild fish stockshave become increasingly depleted, the production of aquaculture, fish and shellfish farming,has grown rapidly to address the deficiencies in catch fishing. Capture fisheries produce morethan 90 million metric tonnes of fish annually, providing the world's increasing populationwith a crucial source of protein. Due to the particular nutritional characteristics of fish,fisheries represent far more than a source of protein. Vitamins and minerals and omega-3fatty acids are essential micronutrients that are necessary to stop malnutrition and reduce theburden of communicable and non-communicable diseases around the world
Influence of Integrated Nutrient Management Practices on Yield and Nutrient Uptake of Rice under System of Rice Intensification
Field experiment was conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Thirupathisaram during rabi 201718 to study the effect of integrated nutrient management practices on rice under system of rice intensification. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with three replications. Biometrics such as number of panicles m-2, number of grains panicle-1, panicle length, grain yield, straw yield and nutrient uptake were recorded. Integrated Nutrient management significantly influenced the yield and nutrient uptake of rice. Application of 100% RDF + Poultry manure (3 t ha-1) + 3% Panchakavya foliar spray @ AT, PI & 50% flowering significantly influenced the yield and nutrient uptake of rice under system of rice intensification. The lowest yield characters, yield and nutrient uptake were recorded under 75% RDF alone. 
MENTHA PULEGIUM L. VAR. ERECTA - A NEW SPECIES TO THE FLORA OF VIDARBHA, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA
Mentha pulegium L.ar. erecta (Lamiaceae) is reported for the first time from Parsodi village, Bhandara district, Maharashtra state, India. Detailed physiography of the species is discussed in the present paper.
