Effect of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza and Fly Ash Amendment in Red Lateritic Soil to Compare the Chilli Growth
Application of fly ash with soil may act as a source of readily available micro and macronutrients to the plants and improve physico-chemical and biological properties of the soil. In contrast lateriticsoil is low fertile, deficient in available phosphorus and other nutrients to the plants. In the experimentCapsicum annuum (chilli) were grown as test crops planted in lateritic soil and fly ash separately, and in thecombined mixture of them, with inoculation of the arbuscular mycorrhiza, Acaulospora delicata. Parameterswere compared for AM spore count, root colonization, growth and productivity of chilli in term of height, leafnumber, leaf area, root collar dimeter, number of flowers and fruits, fresh weight and dry weight. Among allsoil samples the growth of chilli showed maximum in combined mixture of lateritic soil and fly ashinoculated with the AM. Also the combined treatment of AM inoculated lateritic soil and fly ash showedbetter mycorrhization than others. Hence application of AM inoculated low fertile soil with fly ash maypresent better productivity. 
Development and Nutritional Evaluation of Healthy Pangasius Soup Powder Incorporated with Locally Available Vegetables in VietNam
This study carried out to develop some soup formulas from Pangasius and locally vegetables in Viet Nam. Four formulaswere prepared by adding different ratios of dried fish, soybean, moringa leaf and other ingredients (full cream powder, nondairy creamer, potato starch and some kinds of vegetables). The Pangasius were dried using oven/freeze-drying attemperatures ranging from 60 to 80oC (for oven drying) and 12 to 60 hours (for freeze drying). The results showed thatPangasius quality is best achieved when dried by freeze-drying method, with freezing time of about 24 hours, condensationtemperature of -80oC and pressure of 0.001 mBar in 48 hours of freeze-drying. The healthy fish vegetables soup mixturecontaining 30% freeze-dried fish, 5% moringa powder and other ingredients (2.4% full cream powder, 12% non-dairycreamer, 21% potato starch, 22.7% of vegetable powder, 5.1% seasoning and 1.8% sugar) was the best sensory quality. Thewater activity, moisture, protein, carbohydrate, lipid and ash content of this formula were 0.245, 5.54%, 27.34%, 49.82%,8.74% and 6.35%, respectively. The total energy of this product was 387.3 kcal/100 g with the acceptable macronutrientdistribution ranges for protein (28.84%), carbohydrates (51.45%) and lipid (20.31%). The highest sensory value of soupmix was recorded at 4 minutes of cooking. The final product quality was maintained in the aluminum bag with zipper, alittle change in moisture content and low water activity (<0.3) during four months of storage
Development of Low Glycaemic Index Products
The traditional foods were modified by incorporating low glycemic index foodstuffs and products were developed. These products were evaluated for sensory attributes,nutrient content and microbial count. The cost of each product was calculated. The clinicalimplication of these products was carried out on 10 healthy female subjects belonging to agegroup >18 years and the glycemic index of the developed products was determined. From theresults it was observed that all the products are highly acceptable for all the organolepticparameters .BMI of all the subjects was in normal range. Intake of all nutrients by the selectedsubjects was slightly less than Recommended Dietary Allowances. All the products under thestudy were found to be of low glycemic index category with GI value <55. The developedproducts are low glycemic index and suitable for diabetic subjects
Response of Wheat Varieties (Triticum aestivum L., var Darulaman-7 & Drukhshan-8) with FYM Application under Kandahar Semiarid Condition
A field experiment was conducted at the research farm of Agriculture Faculty, Kandahar University, Afghanistan, on Dec2017 until May 2018 to study the effect of FYM on Bread wheat (Triticum aestivum. L.) two varieties such as Darulaman7 (V) & Drukhshan-8 (V). The determinate experiment was laid out in the randomized complete block design (RCBD)with four levels of FYM (0, 8, 10 and 12 tons per hectare) in three replications. DAP fertilizer at 150. Kg (P2O5) ha-1doseapplied to all treatments equally. With the increase, in the use of FYM application, there was an important rise in wheatyield levels, as well as a significant change was seen between the two wheat varieties. Ultimately the FYM applicationoffered a high dose as well as the recommendation to cultivate Drukhshan-08 variety. 
VERMI COMPOSTING: A ‘DO ECOLOGY’ APPROACH: THE SUCCESS OF A ‘FARMER INTEREST GROUP’
The present research article is the success story of a Farmer Interest Group (FIG) of vermicompost from Sushoot village in district Leh of Union territory of Ladakh. A group of eight farmers four maleand four female has been successfully turning all their farm waste into farm wealth making a case of sustainableagriculture. The group is growing wheat and vegetables using the vermi compos produced by recycling of waste.This has also reduced their cost of cultivation of wheat by rupees 3328 per hectare as the group does not needs tospent amount on chemical fertilizers. Some members of the group are also selling this vermi compost therebyaugmenting their income. 
PHYSICO-CHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF SELECTED AGRICULTURAL SOIL SAMPLES IN JUNNAR TEHSIL OF PUNE DISTRICT, MAHARASHTRA
An experiment was undertaken at College of Agriculture Business Management, NarayangaonMaharashtra to investigate the physico- chemical properties of Onion and Tomato soil at ten different sitesof Junnar tehsil of Pune District during February 2018 to May 2019. The soil parameters like soil pH, EC,Organic Carbon, Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorous content were analyzed. It was found that there wasa marked variation in nutrients and parameters of various sample point in different farmers field. The resultsof the study show the low levels of Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium in both sites. Also the organicmatter is low during the study area.

Parthenium hysterophorus L. is an invasive weed in many countries, due to aggressive supremacy of this weedis threatening biodiversity and crop production is extremely affected because of its allelopathic effect. For decades,activities like burning, biological control, and chemical herbicide application had succeeded but still, the management ofparthenium is a big challenge. Recent studies revealed that as harmful effects it also has many beneficial aspects likehigh nutritious compost, biocontrol, for bioremediation of heavy metals like Cd and Ni, for the eradication of aquaticweeds and as an additive in cattle manure for biogas production. ADOPTION OF POST HARVEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES AMONG ONION GROWERS IN GHAZIPUR DISTRICT OF UTTAR PRADESH
Post-harvest management has the potential to create rural industries in developingcountries like India, where 70 per cent of the people live in villages and 65 per cent of them dependon agriculture. Onion being of semi-perishable nature i.e. low storage life, it’s marketing andstorage has great significance for obtaining higher net returns. The present study was conductedduring 2019-20 in purposively selected area Ghazipur district covering 06 villages and a sample of120 onion growers were selected through proportionate random sampling method. The studyrevealed the association between the socio-economic characters with that of the adoption behaviourtowards improved production practices. 
Knowledge of the SHG Members Towards Self-Help Group- Bank Linkage Program in Loisingha Block of Balangir District, Odisha
There has been an imperative need to support the development of farm sector throughprovision of credit and empowerment of rural poor households, especially women. The active participationof the rural women in income generating activities under rural set-up is very low. With the goal ofpromoting sustainability and growth of rural economy through credit support, other financial services andnew innovative programmes, NABARD started Self Help Group - Bank Linkage Programme in India in1992. The present study was undertaken to find out the socio-economic profile and to determine the level ofknowledge of the members towards SHG- Bank Linkage Program in Loisingha Block of Balangir district,Odisha. Descriptive research design was followed for the present study. One hundred twenty respondentswere selected randomly from ten villages of Loisingha block, Balangir district, which was selectedpurposely. The study revealed that 37.5% of respondents had low level of knowledge, followed by mediumlevel of knowledge (35%) and 27.5% of respondents had high level of knowledge. There was a positive andsignificant relationship between age, education, annual income, extension contact, source of informationand progressiveness with the level of knowledge of the respondents. Land holding had a non-significantrelationship with the level of knowledge of the respondents

ack gram (Vigna mungo) is a pulse crop belongs to family leguminacea. The study was conductedduring 2019-20 to assess the socio-economic characteristics with the knowledge level of respondents‟orientation in Yemmiganur block of Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. Total 120 respondents wereselected randomly from 6 villages and results revealed that improved production practices of blackgram were medium. The analysis showed that majority of the respondents had medium level of agegroup; possess education at primary school, medium land size holders, only farming as an occupation,medium annual incomers with small family size, medium extension contact, medium mass mediaexposure, medium market and risk orientation
