Simulation of Textile Designs from Durrie Motifs for Varied Applications
: India is a diverse country with varied cultures, art forms and traditions. These bringrichness to the living, life and lifestyle. The textile handicrafts of the country imbibe rich history,aesthetics and exquisite designs, which are reflected through their varied designing. Taking inspirationfrom durrie motifs the present study was conducted on adaptation of durrie motifs for development ofinnovative designs. 146 traditional durrie motifs were collected from various secondary sources. Theidentified motifs were sketched manually and scanned from books, magazines etc. which were furtherrecreated and modified in CorelDRAW X5 and Adobe Photoshop softwares to get the required complexityand elegance. The selected motifs were categorized in three categories viz. geometrical, floral and animals& birds motifs and five top preferred motifs from each category were selected for development of designs.The motifs selected for design development were motif number 24 (WMS 2.66), 26 (WMS 2.60), 2 (WMS2.50), 5 (WMS 2.46) and 6 (WMS 2.33) in geometrical motif category, motif number 7 (WMS 2.83), 9(WMS 2.63), 30 (WMS 2.43), 14 (WMS 2.36) and 21 (WMS 2.33) in floral motifs category, in animal & birdmotifs category the selected motifs were motif number 7 (WMS 2.73), 15 (WMS 2.50) , 2 (WMS 2.43), 1(WMS 2.26) and 30 WMS 2.23). Total forty five designs were prepared using selected fifteen motifs andfifteen top preferred designs were selected for varied application. 
Foliar Application of Water Soluble Fertilizer on Growth and Yield of Rainfed Blackgram (Vigna mungo (L). Hepper)
Field experiment was conducted at The Indian Agriculture college, Radhapuram duringDecember 2019 – February 2020. To evaluate the effect of foliar application of water soluble fertilizeron growth and yield of of blackgram under rainfed conditions. Nine treatments were tested inrandomized block design with three replications. Among the treatments, application of RDF + Foliarspray of 1% 19:19:19 on 15 DAS + Foliar spray of 1% 12: 61:0 30 DAS + Foliar spray of 1%13:0:45 on 45 DAS proved its superiority through highest dry matter production (DMP) of 795, 2517and 4670 kg ha-1 over the other treatments on 30, 45 DAS and harvest respectively. Significantlyhigher grain yield (733 kg ha-1) was recorded in application of RDF + Foliar spray of 1% 19:19:19 on15 DAS + Foliar spray of 1% 12: 61:0 on 30 DAS + Foliar spray of 1% 13:0:45 on 45 DA

Entrepreneurs are responsible for shaping the economy andthey help in creation of new wealth and new jobs by inventing new products, process and services. We allunderstand that economic development of the today’s woman is crucial for economic development of any countryspecially a country like India. The women today have emerged as a key player in economic development of thenations. However this transformation of society is far from over and the women entrepreneurs not only facedifficulties while starting up an enterprise but also during the running phase. Globally, they have become a keyplayer in sustaining both social development and economic growth. There are a number of socio-economichurdles faced by the women while they attempt to venture into setting up and running their own enterprises. Inthis paper, an attempt has been made to study the opportunities and challenges related with entrepreneurship thatthe woman of our country faces in the present times. 
Study on Knowledge of Tribal Women Regarding Poultry Production
The present study was undertaken to assess the knowledge of tribal women regarding poultryproduction entrepreneurial activity. The study was conducted in Southern Rajasthan. Three KVKs viz.Banswara, Dungarpur and Udaipur were selected on the basis of highest concentration of tribalpopulation. 19 tribal women from the each KVK were taken randomly to make a total sample of 57respondents. Questionnaire and interview schedule were used to collect data. Frequency, percentage,mean percent scores, mean weighted scores, paired t test and F-test were used to analyze the data.  
LAND USE LAND COVER ANALYSIS OF DEGRADED AREAS IN MUBI-NORTH AND GOMBI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS OF ADAMAWA STATE: NIGERIA
The research study examines the use of Remote Sensing and GIS in mapping Land use Land cover inMubi/North and Gombi Local government areas between 1986, 1996, 2006 and 2016 so as to detect the changesthat has taken place in this status between these periods. Attempt was made at projecting the Land use Landcover and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) for the past thirty years (30yr) and relating theanalyses to Land degradation. The result of the work showed a rapid growth in built up areas between the year1986 to 2016, while between 1986 to 2006 witness reduction in water surface areas and thus an increase in baresurface areas. The NDVI for same period shows the level of depletion of vegetation cover. Thus land is beingdegraded. Suggestions were therefore made at the end of the study to use the information as contained therein forsustainable Land managemen
MAPPING SOIL DEGRADATION IN MUBI/NORTH AND GOMBI LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AREA IN ADAMAWA STATE, NIGERIA
Soil erosion is an ecological issue of great concern in the Northern part of Adamawa State. Theresearch study adopts a combination of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing as a tool tostudy and map soil degradation in Mubi/North and Gombi local government areas of Adamawa State. For thisresearch study, several datasets that represent climate, soil and anthropogenic factors were employed in mappingand analyzing soil degradation in the study area. Mapping of soil degradation for 1986 and 2016 and theNormalized Difference Vegetation Index for 1986 and 2016 was carried out. The results of the soil degradationmaps of 1986 and 2016 and the NDVI of 1986 and 2016 shows the level of soil degradation and the vegetationdepletion that occurred in the last twenty years (1986-2016). A Study on Knowledge of Beneficiaries about MGNREGA in Bapatla Mandal of Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh
The basic objective of this research is to study beneficiaries’ knowledge about MGNREGA inBapatla Mandal of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. MGNREGA aims to provide a steady source of incomeand livelihood security for the poo, vulnerable and marginalized. Integrated Weed Management in Chickpea
A field investigation was planned during rabi season of 2011-12 and 2012-13 at Research Farm ofDepartment of Agronomy CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar to study the efficacy of differentherbicides integrating with hand weeding in chickpea. Various treatments included were trifluralin 750 g/haPPI (pre plant incorporation), trifluralin 750 g/ha PPI + 1 HW (hand weeding) 45 DAS (days after sowing),trifluralin 1000 g/ha PPI, trifluralin 1250 g/ha PPI, pendimethalin 750 g/ha PPI, pendimethalin 750 g/haPPI + 1 HW 45 DAS, pendimethalin 1000 g/ha PPI, pendimethalin 1250 g/ha PPI, pendimethalin 750 g/haPRE (pre emergence), pendimethalin 750 g/ha PRE + 1 HW 45 DAS, pendimethalin 1000 g/ha PRE,pendimethalin 1250 g/ha PRE, 1HW 30 DAS, 2 HW 30 and 60 DAS, weedy and weed free check. The seedyield and various yield attributes of irrigated chickpea were increased when trifluralin (PPI) orpendimethalin (PPI & PRE), each at 750 g/ha integrated with 1 HW at 45 DAS, and these were comparableto the treatment of 2 HW (30 and 60 DAS) and also to the weed free conditions. In chickpea, the PPIapplication of pendimethalin was superior over PRE application, however there was no significantdifferences in yield. Weeds allowed to grow through the crop season reduced the seed yield of chickpea to theextent of 31.29 and 25.49 % during 2011-12 and 2012-13, respectively
