Effect of Integrated Nutrient Management on Growth, Yield Attributes and Yield of Wheat
A field experiment was conducted during 2017-18 and 2018-19 at Agronomy Research Area, CCS HAU Hisar to study the effect of integrated nutrient management on growth, yield attributes and yields of wheat. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with three replication and ten treatments viz. T1.Control, T2.100% RDN (recommended dose of nitrogen)+25% N through FYM, T3.100% RDN+25% N through vermicompost, T4.75% RDN+25% N through FYM, T5.75% RDN+ 25% N through vermicompost, T6.50% RDN+50% N through FYM, T7. 50% RDN+50% N through vermicompost, T8.25% RDN+75% N through FYM T9.25% RDN+75% N through vermicompost and T10. 100% RDN. The highest yield attributes and yield of wheat was produced with application of 100 percent recommended dose of nitrogen (RDN)+25 percent nitrogen through vermicompost during both the consecutive years, but it did not differ significantly with application of 100 percent recommended dose of nitrogen (RDN)+25 percent nitrogen through FYM and the treatment where 100 percent of recommended dose of nitrogen was applied. On the basis of two years pooled data, T3 produced 94.96 percent higher number effective tillers, 34.14 percent taller spike length, 25.47 percent more test weight, 165.21 percent higher grain yield and 157.13 percent higher straw yield of wheat over control.  
KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF RURAL PEOPLE TOWARDS NATIONAL RURAL LIVELIHOOD MISSION (NRLM) UNDER MOKOKCHUNG DISTRICT, NAGALAND
Human society has been facing a lot problems and challenges so as to sustain themselves of which poverty seems to be the crucial artefact. India being one of the largest democratic country in the world is facing such hurdle for inclusive growth with poverty as one of its main cause. A large percentage of the Indian population still belongs under Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. It is evident from many research studies that the rural society is suffering a lot. Therefore, a need to eradicate poverty and elevate the livelihoods of the rural poor has been one of the major concerns of the Indian Govt. Welcoming the issues and problems of the rural poor, different schemes have been implemented of which one is the National Rural Livelihood Mission. It was implemented by the Govt. of India with the aim to uplift the lives of the rural poor. It has become the world’s largest poverty alleviation scheme. Hence, to visualise and measure the practical implication on the lives of the rural poor, a study has been conducted to find out the knowledge level and its implication on the socio economic profile of the rural people of Kubolong Block of Mokokchung district, Nagaland. The study revealed that most of the respondents (65.83%) percent had medium knowledge level followed by (20.83%) percent of respondents belonged to high knowledge level and (13.33%) percent had low knowledge level. 
PARTICIPATION OF TRIBAL WOMEN IN DIFFERENT FARM ACTIVITIES IN KISHANGANJ DISTRICT OF BIHAR
The present study was conducted in Kishanganj District of Bihar to find out the participation of tribal women in various farm activities. A total of 124 respondents were selected randomly for the present study. The data were collected through a pre-structured interview schedule and later appropriate statistical analysis was done to find out the meaningful result. The results showed that the tribal women were engaged in almost all the farming activities like preparation of field, sowing of seeds, transplantation, weeding, manureing, harvesting, threshing, winnowing, storage of grains ,marketing, disposal of farm produce etc. however, they were actively participating in farm activities like, transplantation, weeding, raising of nurseries, preparation of field, storage of grains , cleaning and grading etc but they were having less participation in farm activities like, threshing, plant protection measures, fertilizer and pesticide application, marketing etc. The maximum extent of their participation found in transplanting having mean score 2.88 (rank Ⅰ), followed by harvesting having mean score 2.87 (rank Ⅱ). 
Socio-Economic Characteristics of Gram Panchayat Members at Hanumanganj Block of Ballia District of Uttar Pradesh
Introduction of Panchayat Raj was hailed as one of the most important political innovations in Independent India. It was also considered as a revolutionary step. Panchayat Raj is a system of local self-government wherein the people take upon themselves the responsibility for development. The Gram Panchayat has occupied an important place in taking people’s political, economic, social, patriotic aspirations and emotions to the government in order to build a strongest nation ever. The study was based on both Primary and Secondary data. Descriptive research design has been used in the present study. The study revealed that majority of respondents were middle age people, having education up to junior high school and mostly dependent on farming for their income. A large sum of the respondents had very high annual income while few of the respondents had low annual income. It is concluded that the majority of the respondents belonged to the middle socio-economic status. Social participation of Gram Panchayat members were significant in Gram Panchayat activities. Majority of respondents daily use newspaper as a means of mass media exposure. 
A Study on Relationship between Body Condition Score (BCS) and Milk Yield, Fat and Solids-Not-Fat Percent in Murrah Graded Buffaloes under Field Conditions
The present experiment was a study on the relationship of Body Condition Score with milk yield, fat and solids-not-fat percent in murrah graded buffaloes under field conditions. In this murrah graded buffaloes from different commercial farms of Guntur and Krishna districts were selected. Total of 150 murrah graded buffaloes of different parities (1 st to 6 th parities) were selected. Various parameters like BCS, related to average milk yield, fat per cent, SNF per cent was taken into consideration for the present study and a correlated study of BCS and the milk yield was studied. The selected animals were divided into four groups based on BCS as 2.5-2.99, 3.0-3.49, 3.5-3.99, 4.0-4.49. The mean BCS values of 2.5-2.99, 3.0-3.49, 3.5-3.99, 4.0-4.49 were 2.62, 3.25, 3.56 and 4.25 respectively. Highest milk yield was recorded in second month of lactation and lowest in first month of lactation with 9.445±0.15 and 6.18±0.08 kg per day, respectively. The buffaloes with BCS 4.0-4.49 yielded higher milk yield when compared to other groups. Highest fat and SNF percent was observed in the animals with BCS 4.0-4.49 when compared with others. The BCS had showed high positive correlation with SNF (0.44) and milk yield (0.41). 
Association between Knowledge, Adoption and Socio-Economic Profile of Maize Growers regarding Improved Maize Production Practices in Begusarai District of Bihar
The present study on socio-economic profile of the respondents and determine the level of knowledge and adoption in improved maize cultivation practices as enterprises. Begusarai district of Bihar is selected purposively for the present study, because there were large number of maize farmers in the district and also the researcher knows about the area and well conversant with language, geographical, agricultural and other aspect of the area. There are 18 blocks in the selected district out of that Teghra block is selected purposively for present study because there are large number of farmers. From that seven villages were randomly selected and a total of 120 maize farmers were selected using proportionate random sampling method. a comprehensive structured interview schedule covering all aspects of the improved maize production practices was prepared. The items included in the interview schedule were structured questions and objective type questions which were suitable to all categories of respondents. The data was collected from them, analyzed using MS-excel and the finding of the study has been given below. Majority of the respondents possessed middle level of innovativeness and economic motivation and high level of decision making ability and risk orientation. The overall knowledge an adoption level of the maize farmers was found under medium level. The local extension officials along with scientists should take appropriate knowledge promotional strategies such as training, demonstrations, exhibitions, etc., to impart cent per cent knowledge level and to increase the extent of adoption among the respondents
PRESENT STATUS OF AGRICULTURAL MECHANIZATION: A STUDY ON THREE UPAZILAS OF PANCHAGARH DISTRICT IN BANGLADESH
Nowadays in Bangladesh, farm mechanization is one of the major cause of change in agricultural sector. Due to labor shortage and high wage rate of labor, farmers are compelled to accept farm mechanization. The purpose of the study was to assess the modern agricultural technologies used in Panchagarh district and develop statistical information. The study period was from August 2019 to October 2019. For this study, three places such as Panchagarh Sadar, Boda and Debiganj were selected. Present status was analyzed based on irrigation management system, tillage practices, insect control practices, harvesting and post-harvesting operation, drying and storage facilities for rice production. A structured questionnaire was used to collect the information’s of machinery used in selected places. The study revealed that irrigation, land preparation and crop protection was almost mechanized, but mechanization is still lacking in harvesting operation. There were no transplanter, seed drill and fertilizer applicator found in the study areas used by farmers. Crops were still dried through sun drying storage was done by the traditional storage technologies. It is a fact that mechanization is in progress in these areas but need more extension work with modern machineries. The government should develop proper planning by investigating present status of mechanization and improve the present condition by increasing machinery utilization
A Study on Economics of Marketing and Production of Aonla in District Pratapgarh (U.P.)
The study was conducted, in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Random sampling technique was used for the selection of blocks, villages and proportionate random sampling for selection of growers. From the list, 200 growers were selected, using proportionate sampling method i.e. 90 small, 70 medium and 40 large farmers respectively. The primary data were collected from the respondents by using interview schedule, while secondary data were collected from the official records, published data, magazines etc. The marketable surplus for Aonla in the area was found to be 140, 160 and 180 quintals per farm which constituting (99.10%), (99.48%) and (99.48%) to their total Aonla production. Channel-I, Marketing cost when producers sold their produce to consumer in the market was Rs.90/quintal. Net price received by the producer is 410/quintal. Producer share in consumer price was 82 per cent. Price spread is Rs 90. Marketing efficiency was 5.55 per cent. Channel-II, Marketing cost when producers sold their produce to retailers was Rs.105/quintal. Among these cost transportation charges was most important which accounted for Rs.15/quintal, followed by loading and unloading cost Rs.10/quintal, market cost Rs.10/quintal, labour cost was Rs.10/quintal and miscellaneous cost Rs.50/quintal respectively. Sale price of the producer to retailer was Rs.500/quintals inn different farms size group. Channel-III, this is identified as the longest channel. The producer sells his produce to the commission agents, who in turn sell it to retailer in the market. Finally, the produce reaches to the consumer after collecting margin. Average marketing cost when producer sold their produce to commission agents, in the market was Rs.165. Among these grading, cleaning etc. was Rs. 10 and 10 per Qts. loading and unloading cost Rs. 10 per Qtl. Transportation cost Rs. 20per Qts, Miscellaneous charges Rs. 25/qts, respectively. 
Socio-Economic Characterization of Farmers Based on Content and Frequency of Messages Being Disseminated Through ICT Tools
Socio-economic profile of farmers based on content and frequency of messages being disseminated through ICT tools was studied. ICT plays an important role among the farmers in the village of Pusa block as a source of keeping them updated and connected. The data has been collected from 120 farmers using ICT tools through face to face interview. Descriptive research design was followed for the study. The selection of block and villages was done purposively and randomly as per the ICT users. The study concludes that role of ICTs in agriculture development was influenced by content of information and the respondents age, caste, education, size of family, family type, social participation, family annual income, sources of information and size of land holding, high and medium level of knowledge about agricultural activities among farmers through ICT tools 
Influence of Vermiwash, Panchagavya and Weed Extract on Growth, Yield and Seed Quality Parameters of Cluster Bean (Cyamopsistetragonoloba (L).)
Cluster bean (Cyamopsistetragonoloba L.) popularly known as guar is a drought tolerant, deep-rooted, annual legume is grown for Vegetable, Food, Fodder, Green manure, Gum and as a seed. The fortification of seeds for better Growth and Yield has become important and emphasized. The study was conducted to determine the ― Effect of Vermiwash, Panchagavya and Weed Extract on Growth, Yield and Seed Quality Parameters of Cluster bean (Cyamopsistetragonoloba (L).).The experiment was carried out at Field Experimentation Centre of the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences. Prayagraj (UP) during Kharif-2019. The experiment was laid out in Randomised Blocked Design and comprised of 13 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were T0 (Control),T1 – vermiwash 5% @ 12hrs, T2 - vermin wash 10% @ 12hrs, T3 - vermiwash 15% @ 12hrs, T4 - vermiwash 20% @ 12hrs, T5 – panchagavya 5% @ 12hrs, T6 - panchagavya 10% @ 12hrs, T7 - panchagavya 15% @ 12hrs, T8 - panchagavya 20% @ 12hrs, T9 – weed seed extract 5% @ 12 hrs, T10 - weed seed extract 10% @ 12 hrs, T11 – weed seed extract 15% @ 12 hrs, T12 - weed seed extract 20% @ 12 hrs.
