Proces urbanizacije i masovnog
konflikta u očuvanju prirodnog biodiverziteta i njegovog razvoja.
jačanja potencijala turističkog i drugog oblika razvoja ovog područja. U osnovi ovog rada
Visual integration of geodata in thematic cartography
Contemporary cartographic production requires working with databases, of various topographic and thematic structures, which must be standardized and with the possibility of converting values from one data type to another. In order to better map out the reality, in the modeling process, the geodata are systematized within the databases, graphically integrated in regard to thematic significance (primary and secondary). Cartographic methods of geo-visualization offer numerous solutions for interactive visual representation of thematic content. Adjusting the graphic representation and ways of interaction while using the cartographic models allow the visualization of the "hidden" content provided by geodata. By integrating standardized data, in the framework of a database (classification, standardization ...), besides the basic cartographic representation, the interconnected and conditioned additional and supplementary, synchronized graphical representations of the cartographic issues can be realized. Synchronized representations can originate from the same database as the basic map or they can be made by combining data from multiple different databases (with the ability to manipulate within the same formats, classifications, standardizations ...). In doing so, the interactive capabilities in manipulating the maps must be well thought out and evaluated. The approach, ways and limits of database manipulation, as well as the offered cartographic visualization solutions, should provide users with highlighting of the most important aspects of the representation. The coordination of different, but synchronized representations is enabled by visual integration of geodata, in order to create a geo-visual environment in the context of understanding large amounts of data (content, space and time). A complex structure of geodata can be cartographically integrated and presented if it is adapted and based on the principles of cartographic generalization and cartographic design. The content generalization on a model can be the following: taxonomical, spatial, attributive and graphical. The content generalization and symbolization of the thematic maps are key procedures for geo-visualization. The degree of generalization (geometric and semantic) influences the degree of data integration that are graphically represented
Uporedna analiza životne sredine grada Čačak i grada Mostar
Cilj rada je analiza kvaliteta životne sredine i uslova života u dva grada, Čačku
i Mostaru.
upravljanja otpadom, komunalnu delatnost, saobraćajnu infrastrukturu, kvalitet, razvoj i
unapređenje životne sredine, kao i izveštaji nadležnih institucija o stanju u ovim sektorima.
Uporednu analizu ovih urbanih sredina je moguće izvršiti zbog sličnosti geomorfoloških i
klimatskih uslova, ali i različitosti u funkcionisanju njihovih gradskih službi i različitosti u
stanju kvaliteta i mera zaštite životne sredine. Posebnu predeonu vrednost gradovima Čačak
i Mostar daju doline reka Zapadne Morave i Neretve. Uporedno su analizirani podaci o
radu gradskih komunalnih službi u zimskom i letnjem periodu, kao i podaci o razvijenosti i
stanju saobraćajne infrastrukture svih vidova saobraćaja unutar grada i u okviru regiona.
industrijsku i parkovsku zonu.
Izdvajanje sličnosti i

Comfort level classification during patients transport
Passenger comfort is affected by many factors. Patient comfort is even more specific due to its mental and physical health condition. Developing a system for monitoring patient transport conditions with the comfort level classification, which is affected by the patient parameters. Smartphone with the developed Android application was installed in an EMS to monitor patient transport between medical institutions. As a result, 10 calculated parameters are generated in addition to the GPS data and the subjective comfort level. Three classifiers are used to classify the transportation. At the end, the adjustment of classified comfort levels is performed based on the patient's medical condition, age and gender.
Modified SVM classifier provided the best overall classification results with the precision of 90.8%. Furthermore, a model that represents patient sensitivity to transport vibration, based on the patient's medical condition, is proposed and the final classification results are presented. The Android application is mobile, simple to install and use. According to the obtained results, SVM and Naive Bayes classifier gave satisfying results while KNN should be avoided. The developed model takes transport comfort and the patient's medical condition into consideration, so it is suitable for the patient transport comfort classification
Chemometrics based on the mineral content as a tool for the assessment of the pollution of top soils
This is the first research of this type which includes the wider area of Kosovo taking into account the mineral wealth. The concentrations of 20 elements: Al, As, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Se, Si, V, and Zn were determined using ICP-OES. The ranges of concentrations of toxic elements are lead (Pb) 0.044-14.98 g/kg, arsenic (As) 0.007-0.33 g/kg, cadmium (Cd) 0.004-0.044 g/kg, and chromium (Cr) 0.053-0.245 g/kg. The spatial distribution of toxic elements was described using distribution maps. Principal component and cluster analyses were performed to reveal grouping of samples
Rural area population health ware as key factor of Serbian village development
Health of the rural area population depends on many environment conditions. Researches on health allows us to determine differences between population health and its needs and to identify potential risks of rural area. There are many factors affecting both individual and commune health of the living area. Therefore, the subject of this article are the factors affecting rural population health and they will be defined. These factors consider income, social relations, access and usage of fundamental communal services, such as water pipeline, sewage system, the quality of available health services, personal responsibility and environment
Mother tongue as a determinant of ethnic identity in population censuses of Serbia
Information about linguistic affiliation was always collected according to the notion of mother tongue. Although in demography, mother tongue is seen as a more objective component of ethno-national affiliation, research results suggest significant disparities that are correlated with changes in ethno-statistical nomenclature and flotant behaviour of particular ethnic groups. The divergence between language and nationality in Serbia's population censuses unambiguously indicate that several ethnic communities can simultaneously declare the same mother tongue, but also that members of the same ethnic group can declare different mother tongues. The oscillations that occur in changes of the size of the population of certain ethno-linguistic modalities are milder than the variability of ethno-national modalities. The most expressive statistical imbalances were recorded in ethnic groups which were introduced into statistical nomenclature due to the targeted ethno-national stratification of the existing nations. Ethnic dissolution of the existing people simultaneously caused the process of linguistic stratification, by the principle of joining >> affiliate& mother tongue, most often of dialectical diversity of existing languages. Changes in the statistical nomenclature of languages that were adjusted with the initiation of new ethno-national modalities during the XX and the beginning of the XXI century serve as a statistical verification of the linguistic stratification of existing languages according to the principle of domination of the subjective understanding of the national identity. In terms of census statistics, this means that the processes of national homogenization, which were based on the language as a factor of integration during the nineteenth century, were replaced by modern processes of linguistic (primarily dialectical) homogenization based on an unstable and statistically unreliable trait of ethnicity, which makes it a peculiar absurdity, both in theory and in practice
Sustainable urban development and determinants of urban transport energy consumption: a theoretical and empirical analysis
Although economic theory has for a long time focused exclusively on manufactured and human capital (since it was thought that natural capital was readily available), at a time of exponential growth of populations and rapid economic development, this role is being taken over by natural capital. The minimum (mandatory) prerequisite for sustainable growth nowadays is the conservation of natural capital. In no other area is the sharp clash between the goals of sustainable and economic development more evident than in the sphere of the depletion of non-renewable energy sources. The entire global expenditure of energy in the last four decades has more than doubled. Besides this, not only is global energy consumption growing from year to year, but, most alarmingly, rapid increases in energy consumption are predicted in the decades to come. Energy consumption in transport is experiencing the most growth and has almost trebled in the past forty years. Crude oil, as an energy source, is losing its primacy in all sectors except transport, which almost exclusively depends on this energy source. Despite some prognoses that technological progress and globalization can render meaningless the further development of cities, we are experiencing precisely the opposite process, the spatial aspect of this phenomenon being the most important. The agglomeration economies are not diminishing, but, on the contrary, encouraging spatial concentration. It is expected that the rapid process of urbanization will by the mid-21st century lead to two-thirds of the world’s population living in cities. In recent decades, more and more attention is being paid to urban transport. Total global mobility has been steadily rising as a result of the increase in living standards and level of motorization. The conducted theoretical analysis and literature review in this field show that there is a pronounced interdependence between the numerous determinants of energy consumption in urban transport.
Landscape evaluation for the purposes of ecotourism - case study of Burgenland
The objective of this paper is the landscape evaluation of Burgenland (federal state of Austria) for the purposes of ecotourism, based on the Quantitative method of diversity (V-Wert method), where the natural elements of landscape (forests, water surfaces, relief, climate) and land use of considered area are taken as the main criteria for the evaluation. The research was carried out using modern mapping methods and GIS software. By applying this method, more or less favorable surfaces are determinated for the given purposes, with the aim of identifying landscape units which have a high degree of convenience for the development of different types of sustainable and ecotourism, where the main motives of tourist activity are natural heritage and natural touristic values, which are making that landscape more exclusive and more attractive among tourists and visitors. The results of geospatial analysis and landscape evaluation of considered spatial entity in this paper could greatly contribute to an additional tourist valorization of Burgenland.Editor: Snežana Šerbul
