Primena GIS-a u analizi intenziteta erozije u slivu reke Mlave

Slabljenje sistema prostornog planiranja u Srbiji - doba prevlasti prostornih planova područja posebne namene (2010-2020)
In the first two decades of the 21st century, the spatial planning system in Serbia underwent a significant transformation following the general trends of change in Serbia. The neoliberal-market model of the economy has directly led to the apparent suppression of social services and of the environmental sector. After 2010, the formerly hierarchical organized system slowly began to marginalize national, regional and local planning. Instead of that, planning of special-purpose areas became dominant and almost ubiquitous. This plan, according to the Law, can cover all types of infrastructure, all types of mining, tourist facilities and areas, energy, protected nature objects and cultural and historical monuments, as well as the so-called Belgrade Waterfront and the National Stadium. The paper analyses the causal relationships that have led to the current state of planning, given the systematization of spatial plans of the special purpose areas so far prepared. Additionally, the paper also discusses the effectiveness of such a partial approach to the field of spatial planning and landscaping in Serbia.U prve dve decenije 21. veka sistem prostornog planiranja u Srbiji doživeo je značajnu transformaciju prateći opšte trendove promena u Srbiji.
Ekonomske performanse tranzicije srednje klase u Srbiji
The analytical focus in the paper has been intentionally dispersed: the paper primarily focuses on the analysis of the income and consumption of the middle class and its three subclasses in three transitional subperiods: (a) pre-crisis (2006-2008), (b) recession (2009-2014), and (c) recovery period (2015-2019), but the analysis also covers the interdependence between the economic growth and middle class and consumer basket and middle class, as well as the trend of inequality throughout the transitional period. The middle class is the generator of growth and development of every economy. A strong middle class encourages inclusive economic growth and enhances and strengthens institutions. In the transitional period, and especially in the post-crisis period, the middle class in Serbia failed to secure the position of a stabilizing factor in society and its cohesive influence declined. The costs of property transformation were mostly borne by the middle class, above all by the working class and peasantry. The structure and position of the middle class significantly changed in the transitional period. Because of its social, developmental, economic, institutional and political influence, the middle class in Serbia faces a number of challenges, the most important issue being the following: Will the middle class in Serbia take responsibility for the poverty, rising inequality and development of stable democratic processes in the future?Analitički fokus u radu je ciljano disperzivan; primarno je usmeren na prihodnu i potrošnu analizu srednje klase i njene tri potklase u tri tranziciona potperioda: (a) pretkrizni (2006-2008), (b) recesioni (2009-2014) i (c) period oporavka (2015-2019), ali je, pored toga, analizom obuhvaćena međuzavisnost privrednog rasta i srednje klase, potrošačke korpe i srednje klase, kao i dimenzija kretanja nejednakosti tokom čitavog tranzicionog perioda. Srednja klasa je generator rasta i razvoja svake ekonomije. Jaka srednja klasa podstiče inkluzivan ekonomski rast, unapređuje i jača institucije.
The analysis of the quality of surface water of Danube in the Republic of Serbia for 2018
Today, the quality of water in the world is changing significantly due to the increasing human impact on the environment. The paper presents an analysis of the surface water quality of the Danube river at five hydrological stations in Serbia for 2018. Using the relevant method - the water quality index, in this case, the Serbian water quality index (SWQI) ten physico-chemical and microbiological parameters (oxygen saturation, Five-Day Biochemical Oxygen Demand or BOD5, ammonium ion concentration, pH value, water) were analyzed Total Nitrogen or WTN, Total Suspended Solids or TSS, orthophosphate concentration, electrical conductivity, temperature and fecal coliform bacteria presence in water). The values obtained are classified in 5 classes depending on the water quality. The lowest (good) water quality was recorded on the Zemun - Smederevo river course, while in Bezdan, Novi Sad and Radujevac, the average annual water quality is very good
An Early Disc Herniation Identification System for Advancement in the Standard Medical Screening Procedure Based on Bayes Theorem
The aim of this research was to analyze objectively the process of disc herniation identification using Bayes Theorem. One of the symptoms of discus hernia is muscle weakness on the foot that is caused by displaced discs in the space of two vertebrae. This fact is used by experts in initial diagnosis of herniated discs and we used it to create non-invasive platform for the same purposes by measuring force values from four sensors placed on both feet (first, second, and fourth metatarsal head as well as the heel). Dataset consisted of several minute force recordings of 56 subjects with discus hernia and 15 healthy individuals during normal standing, standing on forefeet and heels. The subjects were diagnosed by a specialist with either L4/L5 or L5/S1 discus hernia. Collected recordings were processed in several steps including filtering, extraction of forefeet and heel recordings, classification of average values for forefeet, and heel sensors to the groups with or without foot muscle weakness. Application of Bayes Theorem on the attributes of interest showed average 78.3 accuracy with 62.6 sensitivity and 80.9 specificity, while application of naive Bayes Network showed average 83.1 accuracy with 57.6 sensitivity and 88.2 specificity. Very weak or no correlation was observed between gender and disc hernia diagnosis (or obesity type and disc hernia diagnosis). Obtained results show that this method can be used in initial screening of patients and be a supportive tool to doctors to send the same patients for further examination
Connection of Solar Activities and Forest Fires in 2018: Events in the USA (California), Portugal and Greece
The impact of solar activity on environmental processes is difficult to understand and complex for empirical modeling. This study aimed to establish forecast models of the meteorological conditions in the forest fire areas based on the solar activity parameters applying the neural networks approach. During July and August 2018, severe forest fires simultaneously occurred in the State of California (USA), Portugal, and Greece. Air temperature and humidity data together with solar parameters (integral flux of solar protons, differential electron flux and proton flux, solar wind plasma parameters, and solar radio flux at 10.7 cm data) were used in long short-term memory (LSTM) recurrent neural network ensembles. It is found that solar activity mostly affects the humidity for two stations in California and Portugal (an increase in the integral flux of solar protons of > 30 MeV by 10% increases the humidity by 3.25%, 1.65%, and 1.57%, respectively). Furthermore, an increase in air temperature of 10% increases the humidity by 2.55%, 2.01%, and 0.26%, respectively. It is shown that temperature is less sensitive to changes in solar parameters but depends on previous conditions (previous increase of 10% increases the current temperature by 0.75%, 0.34%, and 0.33%, respectively). Humidity in Greece is mostly impacted by solar flux F10.7 cm and previous values of humidity. An increase in these factors by 10% will lead to a decrease in the humidity of 3.89% or an increase of 1.31%, while air temperature mostly depends on ion temperature. If this factor increases by 10%, it will lead to air temperature rising by 0.42%
Analysis of air temperature trends: City of Podgorica (Montenegro)
This paper presents the results of the analyzed trends for three categories of parameters: average annual air temperature (YT), average maximum air temperature (YTx) and average minimum air temperature (YTn) for the Podgorica Meteorological Station in the Republic of Montenegro. The aim of this paper is to present possible climate changes based on the results obtained from the analyzed air temperature trends. The methodology is based on the application of: a) linear trend equations, b) trend magnitudes and c) Mann-Kendall trend test. The data from the respectable meteorological station in Podgorica for the period from 1947 to 2018 were used in order to estimate the trend. The obtained results indicate a statistically significant positive trend for all analyzed time series. Analyzing the trend test hypotheses, it was concluded that in all three cases the Ha hypothesis prevails. Average annual air temperature in Podgorica increased by 1.4°C, average maximum air temperature increased by 2.5°C and average minimum air temperature increased by 0.6°C. In accordance with the trends analyzed, the increase in air temperature is dominant in the capital of the Republic of Montenegro
