    Ubrzanje algoritama veštačke inteligencije sa primenom u prostornom planiranju korišćenjem Huawei ASCEND 310 arhitekture

    Kada je reč o veštačkoj inteligenciji (VI) i prostornom planiranju, Huawei Ascend 310 procesor može biti korišćen za ubrzavanje različitih aspekata procesa prostornog planiranja. Korišćenjem VI algoritama, moguće je identifi kovati obrasce, prepoznati objekte, izvršiti klasifi kaciju terena i analizirati prostorne karakteristike.Veštačka inteligencija može se koristiti za predviđanje kretanja i modeliranje različitih elemenata u prostoru. Na primer, može se primeniti za predviđanje saobraćajnog toka, kretanja ljudi ili identifi kaciju potencijalnih lokacija za izgradnju infrastrukture. Ascend 310 procesor pruža mogućnost ubrzane obrade ovih algoritama, čime se omogućava brže i efi kasnije planiranje. U prostornom planiranju, VI može se koristiti za optimizaciju korišćenja resursa poput vode, energije ili zemljišta. Huawei Ascend 310 procesor može ubrzati analizu i optimizaciju resursa, što omogućava bolje upravljanje i racionalno korišćenje prostornih resursa. VI može biti korisna i za simulaciju scenarija i vizualizaciju planiranih prostornih intervencija. Korišćenjem Ascend 310 procesora za ubrzavanje obrade simulacija i vizualizacija, može se dobiti realističan prikaz predloženih planova, što pomaže donosiocima odluka da bolje razumeju i procene implikacije planiranih intervencija. Huawei Ascend 310 je specijalizovani procesor (ASIC) za ubrzanje veštačke inteligencije koji je razvijen od strane kompanije Huawei.     Značaj Dževonsovog paradoksa i povratnog efekta u saobraćaju

    Dževonsov paradoks, poznati princip u ekonomiji životne sredine, odnosi se na podizanje energetske efi kasnosti proisteklo iz tehnološkog napretka koje za posledicu ima povećanje (umesto smanjenja) potrošnje energije. Razlozi za ovakve krajnje efekte su, prvenstveno, ekonomske prirode. Potpuno razumevanje ove veze leži u osnovi koncepta održivog razvoja s obzirom da Dževonsov paradoks, ukoliko se ne koriguje određenim politikama zaštite životne sredine, može izazvati dugoročne posledice po iscrpljivanje neobnovljivih energetskih potencijala i izmenu globalne klime. U ovom kontekstu od posebnog interesa je analiza njegove uloge i značaja u oblasti saobraćaja, naročito drumskog. Kroz istoriju, u pokušaju da se smanji potrošnja energije (kao i drugi negativni ekološki efekti) u saobraćaju akcenat je često bio na implementaciji novih saobraćajnih tehnologija i/ili poboljšanju već postojećih. U pitanju su mere kojima se poboljšava efi kasnost samih vozila i goriva. Međutim, ovakvi pokušaji da se unapređenjem energetske efi kasnosti smanji ukupna potrošnja energije u saobraćaju su imali ograničen domet. Ostvarene uštede često su vodile ka većoj tražnji za saobraćajem i većem broju pređenih kilometara. Stoga, fokus treba usmeriti na instrumente koje sa baziraju na podsticajima (i koji podižu cenu), prvenstveno na različite vrste poreza na posedovanje i (posebno) korišćenje automobila.Urednici: Dejan Filipović, Velimir Šećerov, Dejan S.     D1.5 ‐ Data Management Plan

    The Working Package 1 'Project Management and Coordination", Task 1.3 "Data Management Plan (DMP), open science practices and Research Data Management" of the GreenFORCE project comprises the Deliverable 1.5 – Data Management Plan (DMP). This document is the first Version of the DMP, which, as per the Grant Agreement, is to be submitted within the 6th month of the GreenFORCE Project, more precisely, within 31/12/2022. In case needed, an updated second version of the DMP shall be shared in the 18th month of the project duration. The DMP produced in the framework of the GreenFORCE Project is a living document that describes how to research information (research documents and data) will be managed during and after the project duration (the data life cycle). The document is prepared based on the Horizon DMP Template1 and reflects the Grant Agreement and Consortium Agreement requirements. Furthermore, the DMP describes the data that will be generated/created/used, how the generated/created/used data will be shared and preserved in the short and long term, and what restrictions (if any) will be applied. The approach for the DMP preparation evolved in steps. Preliminarily, all partners in the GreenFORCE Project provided information regarding data management policy and practices in respective institutions through a structured questionnaire. Part of the information provided has been embedded in the current version of the DMP. In a second step, the draft DMP was shared with all partners, providing information regarding research documents and data used/produced in the framework of the GreenFORCE Project. Once all comments were addressed, the DMP was submitted to the Ethics Advisor for clearance. Finally, the DMP was finalised and uploaded into the system on 31/12/2022. In its first Version (V1), the DMP provides the general approach and policy to the data management of the GreenFORCE Project. It is expected that during the GreenFORCE Project implementation, the DMP will be updated regularly and accordingly, gaining precision and substance

    The Heritage Climate Index (HERCI): Development, Assessment and Application for Tourism Purposes in Geoheritage and Cultural Heritage Sites

    The development of climate indices and their application can influence the preferences of tourists and the time frame for visiting the locality. This study develops a new Heritage Climate Index (HERCI) that finds its application in assessing climate comfort for visiting geoheritage and cultural heritage objects. The study analyzed the geoheritage site in Western Serbia (Stopića Cave) and the cultural heritage site in Eastern Serbia (Golubac Fortress). The index was developed to represent climatic comfort on a monthly basis and consisted of five climatic elements. The values of the HERCI index were obtained based on the multi-criteria decision-making model—the Best–Worst method (BWM). The results were classified into five classes, depending on the degree of conformity. After a comparative analysis of the index results for four localities and their attendance for the period 2012–2021 and 2019–2022, it was determined that there is a very high level of correlation (>0.9). This is the first study to use the BWM to develop and analyze a climate index. From the aspect of tourism policy, this study significantly contributes to tourism organizations and tourists in better understanding climate comfort and making decisions about the organization’s time frame and realization of the travel

    Рестриктивни репродуктивни модел у Источној Србији који се појавио у условима прединдустријског сеоског друштва и без довољаног развојог по тенцијала који би водио ка редефинисању етичких, и општих друштвених норми, по много чему је био сличан оном у већ индустријализованим и урбанизованим друштвима. Експанзивно ширење рестриктивног модела репродукције је било атипичано у односу на верме, место и услове у којима се појавило, и изван свих теоријских постулата демографске транзиције. Зато је у раду анализирна динамика промена обе компоненете природног кретања становништва крајем XIX и почетком XX века и размотрен етно демографски, етокултуролошки и социоекономски контекст наталитета и морталитета из чијег међуодноса се препознаје етапност демографске транзиције. И поред објективних проблема у вези са квалитетом података тадашње статистике, ргионалнодемографска диференцијација промене наталитета и морталитета указује на извесну корелацију између интен зитета опадања рађања и етничке структуре становништва

    Impact of the War in Croatia (1991–1995) on the Differentiation of Age Structure between Serbs and Croats: A Case Study of the Banija Region

    Aging is the subject of various studies by the scientific community and monitoring by responsible institutions. The intensity of aging and the proportion of age groups among various communities differ due to different socio-economic conditions and characteristics. This article researches the impact of the war in Croatia 1991–1995 and postwar living conditions on the divergence of population aging in the ethnically heterogeneous Banija region. The first postwar census in 2001 recorded population decline by 44.9% compared to the 1991 census. We analyze the effects of the war on changes in ethnic and age structure, as well as their interrelations. The quantitative and qualitative magnitude of these demographic changes in the inter-census period had a decisive influence on the correlation of age and ethnic structure. The article examines whether the relative share of Serbs or Croats in the total population of a settlement affects the average age of the settlement. The results confirmed that the Serbs are older than the Croats, as well as the Serbs are in the phase of the most advanced demographic age. These changes raise the question of the demographic future and the biological viability of the Serbs, who were the majority in the region before the war

    Urban Sustainability in Serbia: Sustainable for whom?

    The issue of urban sustainability and sustainable management of cities has become an important topic. On the one hand, urbanization and the expansion of larger metropolitan areas are expected to increase in the future, while other regions and cities are simultaneously shrinking. For the first time in Serbia, the “Program for Sustainable Urban Development until 2030” is adopted with the requirements for sustainable urban planning. The main issues of urban development focus on sustainable economic development, urban settlement planning, social well-being, environmental quality and urban development management. However, the complex spatial-demographic and socioeconomic changes during the post-socialist transition have determined the demographic development of urban settlements in Serbia towards shrinkage. At the beginning of the 21st century, the total population of cities in Serbia has slightly increased, but disproportions in population development between urban settlements have deepened, leading to urban polarization. As a result, more than 80% of urban settlements are shrinking. None of the key problems identified in the program address urban shrinkage as a main trend. In this study, we conducted an analysis of the development of the total population trends and age structure in 167 urban settlements in Serbia in the period 2011-2022. The aim of this study is to show the demographic dimension of urban development and its importance for the sustainability of the city.     Modelling of Wildfire Susceptibility in Different Climate Zones in Montenegro Using GIS-MCDA

    Montenegro has different influences on the weather and climate; in general, according to Köppen’s classification, there are two climate zones: warm temperate (C) and cold temperate (D). The aim of this study is to determine the susceptibility to wildfires in the Montenegrin coastal municipality of Budva and the northern municipality of Rožaje, which are located in different climatic conditions, using multicriteria GIS decision analysis (GIS-MCDA). Nine natural and anthropogenic criteria were used for the analysis. Open geospatial data were used as input data for all criteria. The assignment of weighting coefficients for the criteria in relation to wildfire susceptibility importance was based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) procedures. The results for the AHP and F-AHP models were obtained using the Weighted Linear Combination (WLC) method. According to the AHP model, the very high and high category covers 80.93% of the total area in Budva and 80.65% in Rožaje. According to the F-AHP model, the very high and high category occupies 80.71% of the total area in Budva and 82.30% in Rožaje. The validation shows that the models of GIS-MCDA perform fair in both climatic zones. The proposed models, especially in the absence of geospatial data, can be a strategic and operational advantage in the development of plans and strategies for protection against wildfires

    Глобални тренд развоја туризма повећава интересовање за картографска дела, посебно референтне и тематске ̶ туристичке и путне карте и атласе. Информациони капацитети карата и атласа о природним, историјским и културним знаменитостима подручја, туристичким објектима, путној мрежи и услужним објектима има велики практични значај у туризму. Карта има суштинску функцију при стицању просторних информација о атрактивности туристичких дестинација и локацији туристичких објеката, избору и планирању путовања, оријентацији и кретању у географском простору. Поред значаја за кориснике туристичких услуга, карта представља извор информација за подршку ефикасном управљању туристичким ресурсима. Области примене топографских и туристичких карата су разноврсне. Основни правци картографске подршке туристичким активностима везују се за: карте намењене туристима и карте намењене планирању и регулисању развоја туристичких активности, којима се обезбеђују прикази потенцијала и перспективе туристичког развоја картираног подручја. Картографска визуелизација реалног и виртуелног географског простора има подстицајни ефекат на развој туризма. Дигитална технологија омогућава креативне начине картографске визуелизације разноврсних туристичких садржаја, јасну и прегледну дистрибуцију просторних, временских и атрибутивних информација великом броју корисника. Примена ГИС-а повећала је аналитички потенцијал картографских модела, а тиме и њихову информативну вредност. Израда интерактивних карата са пратећим мултимедијалним ефекатима, утицај Интернета и коришћење апликација мобилних телефона у туристичке сврхе, омогућава да се интегришу хетерогени извори података у јединствен и занимљив производ. Интерактивност и мултимедија омогућава проширивање, атрактивност приказа и детаљност тема и садржаја туристичких карата. Коришћењем ГИС-а и мултимедијалне технологије интегришу се хетерогени извори података у јединствену целину, која се може имплементирати за различите потребе (публикације, апликације и др.).The global trend of tourism development increases the interest in cartographic works, especially reference and thematic – tourist and road maps and atlases. The information capacities of maps and atlases on natural, historical and cultural sights of the area, tourist facilities, road network and service provision facilities are of great practical importance in tourism. The map has an essential function in obtaining spatial information about the attractiveness of tourist destinations and the location of tourist facilities, the selection and planning of travel, orientation and movement in the geographical area. In addition to being important for users of tourism services, the map is a source of information to support the efficient management of tourism resources. Areas of application of topographic and tourist maps are diverse. The basic directions of cartographic support to tourist activities are related to: maps intended for tourists and maps intended for planning and regulating the development of tourist activities, which provide an overview of the potential and perspectives of tourist development of the mapped area. Cartographic visualization of real and virtual geographical space has a stimulating effect on tourism development. Digital technology facilitates creative modalities of cartographic visualization of various tourist contents, clear and transparent distribution of spatial, temporal and attributive information to a large number of users. The application of GIS has increased the analytical potential of cartographic models, and thus their informative value. The creation of interactive maps with accompanying multimedia effects, the impact of the Internet and the use of mobile phone applications for tourism purposes, allows the integration of heterogeneous data sources into a unique and interesting product. Interactivity and multimedia enable the expansion, attractiveness of the presentation and the detail elaboration of the topics and content of tourist maps.
