Ticks in Cattle: Their Importance and Chemical and Treatment Control
Ticks transfer diseases to animals and humans. Ticks create major financial losses to livestock and have a variation of adverse special effects on cattle hosts. Tick working as possible vectors for helminth parasites and haemoprotozoa cause blood loss directly. Large numbers of tick’s drinking red blood induce anaemia and decreased living weight in cattle animals, even though their bites can damage the skins. Ticks, are answerable for important financial losses due to their potential to transmit rickettsial, viral infections and protozoan to cattles. Here are a variety of ticks-control tactics available, but then again each has its own set of problems. The importance of ticks and their control are the topic of this review. Ticks have controlled by the help of vaccine and spray or chemicals compounds etc
An Interface of Classroom Examination Practices and the Success for Licensure Examination for Teachers
To be of significance to nation building, a prospective teacher needs to pass the licensure examination for teachers, as prescribed by law under the “Philippine Professionalization Act of 1994.” In line with this, the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology is undertaking efforts in delivering quality education by requiring its faculty to comply with the highest standards of educational qualification as it recognizes the role of teachers in facilitating students’ learning.
A self-constructed questionnaire was used to gather data consisting of open-ended question form enquiring how students prepare themselves for the examinations and the practices of the teachers before, during and after the examinations. To clarify answers not clearly stated, interviews were conducted. The 68 third year Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) for the SY 2018-2019 were chosen as respondents. Data gathered were analysed using the thematic analysis approach.
Findings show that the respondents prepare themselves spiritually, physically and mentally for the examinations. Teachers make necessary class preparations before the examinations except those who included items in the test not covered in class, which may affect students’ test attitudes ultimately result to unfavorable performance in the LET.
It is recommended that teachers create test questions that follow the LET format so that students become familiar with the setup. This may also develop the students’ test-taking skills while studying to ensure better performance in the LET
An Efficient Framework for Classifying Novel Corona Cases based on Machine Learning and Data Mining Techniques
Hospitals with the disease of coronavirus (COVID) are always at risk of dying. COVID hospitalized patients may benefit from the application of machine learning and data mining techniques to predict their death. Therefore, the purpose of this paper was to evaluate many machine learning and data mining algorithms to COVID mortality prediction utilizing patient data at the time of first admission and select the algorithm that performs best as a decision-making tool. Its signs and symptoms resemble those of the regular flu consisting fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, and muscle pain. This paper proposed running the most important algorithms from data mining and machine learning such as naïve bayes, models of decision tree (ID3 and C4.5), support vector machine, and logistic regression to classify corona cases. To test the proposed framework, the confusion matrix has been used. From the confusion matrix the important performance measures have been computed such as accuracy, recall, precision, balance accuracy, and AUC. The experimental findings of this paper supported the notion that the supported vector machine algorithm had good performance and high accuracy in classifying corona disease

Enhancing the Teaching Style of Faculty and Learning Preferences of Teacher Education Students: The Way Forward
This study aimed to determine the different teaching style of faculty and to determine the type of learners the College of Teacher Education students are according to their learning style preferences and strategies.
This study used the descriptive-survey type of research. The teaching styles of faculty were determined utilizing the Teaching Style Inventory by Rita Dunn and Kenneth Dunn (1999) which consists of six categories namely: 1) instructional planning, 2) teaching methods, 3) teaching environment which includes student groupings and room design, 4) evaluation techniques, 5) teaching characteristics, and, 6) educational philosophy. The Learning Style and Strategies Inventory of Felder and Solomon (2003) was used.
The faculty respondents were the 23 full time faculty of the college and a total enumeration of the 671 BEED and BSED students in all year levels. Results show that the faculty are transitional in all the six categories. Nobody is found traditional, but the group hasn’t reached the most ideal teaching style – the individualized. The students are found moderate active learners but extremely sensing learners. They are well-balanced as visual/verbal learners and as sequential/global learners.
The following are concluded: Faculty is not yet fully academically equipped with skills and competencies for an individualized teaching style. Students favor a learning environment provided with activities, visual aids, concrete examples, and a clear step by step explanation of lessons.
It is recommended that the faculty should attend in-service trainings to enhance their capability in preparing syllabi that favor the learning preferences and strategies of students

Traffic Participants Detection and Classification Using YOLO Neural Network
One of the most important requirements for the next generation of traffic monitoring systems, autonomous driving technology and Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) is the detection and classification of traffic participants. Although in the areas of object detection and classification research, tremendous progress has been made, we focused on a specific task of detecting and classifying traffic participants from traffic scenarios. In our work, we have chosen a Deep Convolutional Neural Networks – YOLOv4 (You Only Look Once Version 4), a object detection algorithm to detect and classify traffic participants accurately with fast speed. The main contribution of our work included: firstly, we generate a custom image dataset of traffic participants (Car, Bus, Truck, Pedestrian, Traffic light, Traffic sign, Vehicle registration plate, Motorcycle, Ambulance, Bicycle wheel). After that, we run K-means clustering on the dataset to design an anchor box that is utilized to adapt to various small and medium scale. Finally, we train the network for the mentioned objects and test it in several driving conditions (including daylight, low light, high traffic, foggy, rainy environment). The results showed cutting-edge performance with a mean Average Precision (mAP) of up to 65.95% and a speed of about 54 ms
Analysis Of Sensors Used to Make Smart Homes
One of the most widely used Internet of Things applications is home automation. There has been a huge shift in the way humans live their lives, making it easier and more beautiful. It aids in the discovery of easy answers to a wide range of difficult problems. Every application of home automation is linked to the others through the Internet. All of these applications are interconnected through sensors. These sensors can be used to operate a variety of devices, including doors, fans, lights, gas, televisions, refrigerators, and air conditioning. As a result, there is no requirement for human intervention. Our homes have become exceedingly safe thanks to the use of sensors. So that if there is an accident, we will be able to detect it from a long distance without difficulty. It is also capable of preventing unintended mishaps with the use of this technology. The most important thing to understand is which sensors will be used to create this smart house. Aspects such as finances are taken into consideration so that we can use the sensors to build smart houses as needed. This paper describes a technique for smart home automation that is low-cost and wireless, and it makes use of several types of sensors and the Internet of Things to accomplish this. Following extensive investigation, we develop a viable prototype. Specifically, we are interested in suggestions about what types of sensors are utilized to create a smart house, how much they cost, and a thorough understanding of how the sensors are used for various purposes
