Dynamic Geomorphology of the Amu Darya Basin in Afghanistan: A Study of Physiography, Basin Erosion, and Channel Development
The morphological dynamics of rivers are motivated by way of a number of things, including floodplain sedimentation, channel migration, sediment transport, and hydrodynamics. A considerable information of the complicated dynamics of river structures is important to layout river initiatives which can be sustainable and environmentally conscious. Implementing thorough river control plans that include hydraulic infrastructure and ecological restoration projects is important to overcoming these boundaries. This solution will effectively manipulate competing needs for water resources whilst ensuring the preservation of the location's herbal heritage. In the cease, this study affords essential new understandings of the complex interactions between hydrological patterns, human hobby, and geological procedures within the Amu Darya Basin. The application of sustainable land control and water useful resource making plans in Afghanistan might be appreciably impacted with the aid of those findings. Afghanistan has a lot of freshwaters because the Hindu Kush Mountains receive a significant quantity of precipitation. An estimated 75 billion cubic meters of potential water resources, consisting of 57 billion cubic meters of surface water and 18 billion cubic meters of groundwater, are found in Afghanistan. The Amu Darya, Northern River Basin, Helmand River Basin, Harirud-Marghab River Basin, and Kabul River Basin make up the Indus River Basin, which provides around two-thirds of Afghanistan's freshwater resources. All of Afghanistan's rivers, with the exception of the Northern River, flow across international borders into neighboring countries. The distribution of water from the Amu Darya River was subject to limitations imposed by the USSR, which was previously known as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The majority of the water is used mostly for farming. Protocol 566, formally ratified by the former USSR, allowed the transfer of water from the Amu Darya River to the four Central Asian Republics (CARs) of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic. By investigating the bodily functions of the basin, which includes land erosion and channel development, this looks at seeks to enhance our understanding of the landscape evolution of the basin. Our intention is to improve our information of the landforms, tectonic activity history, and the consequences of climate change inside the region by utilizing geological studies and facts from faraway sensing

Hybridity and Cultural Duality in E.M Forster’s Character Dr. Aziz: A Post-Colonial Analysis
The study examines the impact of British influence on Indian culture and its people, leading to a dualism in their personalities, as conceptualized by Homi K. Bhabha's notion of hybridity. The analysis of Forster’s novel and the character of Dr. Aziz using Bhabha’s concepts of hybridity and ambivalence reveals that British culture poses a significant threat to the native culture, eroding the ancient histories of Indian cultures in the younger native generation. This qualitative research, based on the findings of this study, also opens up a new dimension for researchers in the same field or those interested in hybridity, or A Passage to India. This research is qualitative in nature, and the data was collected from the novel A Passage to India. The research also identifies that Dr. Aziz appears to be influenced by the English lifestyle and attempts to emulate English behavior on multiple occasions, seeking friendship with English people and even organizing and leading a trip for them to demonstrate his honor and responsibility. However, after facing accusations, he refrains from accepting the friendship of the English until they cease to rule India, displaying dual and hybrid behavior. The study also uncovers the influence of the English language and cultural values on Indians. Considering that Forster wrote the novel A Passage to India during his visits to India, it is evident that he witnessed the scenario during the British Raj, lending credibility and trustworthiness to the events described in the novel. This provides a satisfying validation of the research results

State crafting, failure and, collapse is an interesting area of social science research, which has been remotely examined by comparative political scientists. The paper comprehensively examines the crafting and failure of South Sudanese state. It conceptualizes state, state-crafting, state failure and collapse. It surveys the role of political parties in understanding state-crafting and failure in South Sudan. Empirically, the paper argues that South Sudanese political parties particularly, Sudan People’ Liberation Movement (SPLM) have contributed in South Sudanese failure than crafting and prosperity. This is demonstrated through ethnicization of politics and politicization of ethnicity and through ethnic divisions. Using empirical literature, the paper discusses state crafting, failure and dissects the role of political parties in which SPLM has a big hand in the state failure of South Sudan. In its methodology, the paper deploys primary and secondary sources in tapping the understanding of the role of South Sudanese political parties in state-crafting and failure. Primary data include the use of questionnaires and interviews in comprehending state formation and in particular, the role played by South Sudanese political parties in nascent state-crafting and failure. Secondary sources include the use of literature review in understanding political parties and their role in South Sudanese state failure. The study uses a sample size of 200 respondents with sample types of persuasives and cluster sampling combined. The study also combines case study and process tracing methods to contextualize and validate causal chains and empirical casual processes of South Sudan state formation and role of political parties in state-crafting and failure. The results of the study indicate that SPLM as a main ruling party has a huge contribution in South Sudanese state failure. While other 28 registered political parties are ethnic-based given that because they don’t have national programmes across South Sudan, their contributed to South Sudanese state failure cannot be equated with SPLM. These 28 parties have their presence in the bomas, payams and counties only and have endeavored to promote ethnic divisions and violence in South Sudan. Finally, the paper draws conclusions on the need for civic role of political parties in state-crafting and democratization of South Sudan.
