    Get PDF
This study examines how non-conventional communicative performances construct perceived authenticity in TikTok endorsement content. Using Krippendorff’s qualitative content analysis, the study analyzes verbal and non-verbal communication strategies in high-engagement endorsement videos produced by the Indonesian influencer Tante Lala. Findings indicate that regional dialects, heightened vocal intensity, and theatrical kinesics function as symbolic resources that negotiate authenticity and intimacy with audiences. These communicative performances blur the boundaries between commercial persuasion and interpersonal interaction, generating parasocial relationships that enhance persuasive effectiveness. The study contributes to symbolic interactionism by demonstrating how authenticity in influencer marketing is socially constructed through continuous symbolic negotiation in digital environments

This study examines the relationship between swift guanxi and customer engagement in live streaming commerce and customer trust. The focus of this study is the trust in broadcasters, community members, and products on Indonesian platforms such as Shopee Live, TikTok Live, Lazada Live, and Tokopedia Play. An online survey was used to gather quantitative data from 270 active users, and Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used for analysis. This study offers a thorough model, indicating that trust in broadcasters and community members significantly enhances customer engagement, while trust in product does not directly influence engagement but positively impacts swift guanxi. Furthermore, the PLS-SEM results prove that trust in broadcasters as the central anchor in the live streaming ecosystem greatly transfers trust to both community members and products. Ultimately, swift guanxi plays a pivotal role in driving customer engagement

This study analyzes the implementation of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning methods at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Banjarmasin and the factors influencing their effectiveness. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research involved the head of the madrasah, SKI teachers, and 40 students, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that SKI learning remains dominated by the lecture method with limited media use, resulting in low student motivation and participation. Contributing factors include short class time, non-linear teacher backgrounds, limited pedagogical competence, inadequate media utilization, and less effective classroom management. Students expressed higher interest in interactive approaches such as discussion, role playing, and multimedia. The study suggests diversifying methods, integrating technology-based media, and enhancing teacher competence to foster engagement and align SKI learning with the Merdeka Curriculum

Pendidikan Kesetaraan Gender dalam Perspektif Al-Qur’an

    Get PDF
This article explores gender equality education through a Qur’anic perspective as a response to the ongoing reality of gender inequality in Muslim societies and Islamic educational settings. The study focuses on understanding how gender equality is framed in social discussions, how the Qur’an conveys principles of equality in its verses, and how these principles can be applied within Islamic education. Using a qualitative library-based approach, the research examines relevant Qur’anic passages, interpretations from both classical and contemporary scholars, as well as recent academic literature. The findings indicate that the Qur’an upholds equal human dignity, moral accountability, and spiritual worth for men and women alike, placing faith and righteous conduct above gender as the measure of merit. The persistence of gender inequality is largely rooted in patriarchal cultural norms and partial interpretations, rather than in the core teachings of the Qur’an. In this context, Islamic education holds a crucial role in promoting gender justice by incorporating inclusive interpretations and reinforcing Qur’anic values of equality, justice, and social responsibility

Humanisme sebagai Etika Politik: Relasi Negara dan Agama dalam Pemikiran Abdurrahman Wahid

    Get PDF
This study examines Abdurrahman Wahid’s (Gus Dur) thought on humanism as a foundation of political ethics in the relationship between the state and religion. The aim of this research is to explain how humanism in Gus Dur’s intellectual framework functions as a moral principle that both limits state power and prevents religion from being instrumentalized as a source of political legitimacy. Employing a qualitative approach, this study applies textual analysis to Gus Dur’s major works, particularly “Tuhan Tidak Perlu Dibela” and “Islamku, Islam Anda, Islam Kita”, supplemented by secondary literature. The findings indicate that Gus Dur conceives the state as a worldly institution whose primary responsibility is to safeguard human dignity, social justice, and freedom of religion, without intervening in the domain of theological truth. In this framework, religion serves as a source of ethical values rather than as a state ideology. The novelty of this study lies in articulating Gus Dur’s theistic humanism as a political-ethical framework that rejects both religious formalism and extreme secularism, thereby offering a mediating perspective for governing public life in a plural society. This study underscores the continued relevance of Gus Dur’s thought for strengthening inclusive political ethics in contemporary Indonesia

Analisis Wacana Kritis atas Opini Publik terhadap Kinerja Pemerintah dalam Survei Kawula17 2025

Public opinion surveys are widely used as indicators of governmental legitimacy. However, quantitative approaches often fail to capture the complex meanings embedded in public responses. This study highlights the importance of discourse analysis in interpreting survey data, particularly amid declining public trust in the Indonesian government during Q2 2025. This research applies Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) to secondary data from the Kawula17 Q2 2025 Survey. The analysis follows three dimensions: textual, discursive practice, and social practice, focusing on issues of corruption, economy, and gender legislation (RUU PPRT). Public opinion emerges as a discursive construction marked by ambivalence, symbolic resistance, and critique of power relations. Expressions like “death penalty for corruptors” and “the little people are suffering” reflect tensions between state narratives and citizens’ lived realities. Public opinion is not neutral; it is shaped by social structures and dominant ideologies. CDA offers a critical lens to reinterpret political surveys as socially embedded texts

Gaya Hidup, Literasi Keuangan Syariah, dan Pembelian Impulsif Konsumen Muslim Deli Serdang

This study examines the role of lifestyle and Islamic financial literacy in shaping impulsive buying behavior among Muslim consumers in Deli Serdang. The rapid growth of digital commerce has intensified unplanned purchases that potentially contradict Islamic consumption ethics. A quantitative explanatory design was employed with a survey of 200 Muslim consumers selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after passing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. This study extends previous research by examining Muslim consumers in an urban–semi urban community rather than student samples commonly used in earlier studies. The findings reveal that lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying, while Islamic financial literacy has a negative and significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly explain impulsive buying behavior with a moderate coefficient of determination. The study implies that strengthening Islamic financial literacy and promoting moderate lifestyles are essential to develop responsible Muslim consumer behavior in the digital economy

Fondasi Etis dan Strategi Epistemik dalam Pembelajaran Islam: Analisis Isi terhadap Kitab al-Ilm karya Muhammad bin Shalih Al-Utsaimin

    Get PDF
This qualitative library research examines the ethical foundations and learning strategies for seekers of knowledge as articulated by Muhammad bin Ṣāliḥ Al-Utsaimin in Kitab al-Ilm. Using content analysis, the study systematically codes thematic units related to intention, discipline, reverence for scholars, epistemic verification, and pedagogical method. The findings reveal twelve interconnected ethical principles that function not merely as moral guidance but as an integrated epistemic framework. These include sincerity of intention, commitment to acting upon knowledge, respect for scholarly authority, patience in learning, intellectual humility, and verification of information. Complementing these ethical foundations are practical strategies such as prioritizing foundational knowledge, structured study routines, memorization and revision (murāja’ah), guided mentorship (mulāzamah), and selective academic companionship. The study argues that Al-Utsaimin’s framework represents a holistic model of Islamic pedagogy in which ethics and methodology are inseparable. In contemporary digital learning environments characterized by information overload and academic shortcuts, this framework offers a morally grounded and methodologically rigorous alternative capable of strengthening academic integrity and character formation among Generation Z learners
