    Get PDF
This study was conducted at the Muara Dua Sub-District Office in Prabumulih City using a quantitative approach. The research population consisted of 28 employees, and a saturated sampling technique was employed. The variables examined were Communication (X₁), Work Enthusiasm (X₂), and Work Performance (Y). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS software. The results indicate that partially, communication has a significant effect on work performance (t_calculated > t_table). Similarly, work enthusiasm also shows a significant influence on employee performance. Simultaneously, both variables have a strong effect on work performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of [insert value, e.g., 0.65 or 65%]. This finding suggests that improving communication quality and maintaining employees’ work enthusiasm are key factors in optimizing public service performance at the sub-district administrative level

    Get PDF
This research investigates the effectiveness of the 5E Learning Cycle instructional model in improving students’ learning outcomes and academic engagement motivation in Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung. The research was conducted in response to preliminary findings indicating low levels of student motivation, particularly in intrinsic learning drive, which reached only 18%. A quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design was employed, involving two randomly selected Grade VII classes: an experimental group taught using the Learning Cycle 5E model and a control group receiving conventional instruction. The research instrument was a structured learning motivation questionnaire initially consisting of 15 items. Following the validity analysis, 10 items met the required criteria and were retained for further analysis. The reliability test conducted on these valid items yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.704, indicating an acceptable level of internal consistency. Accordingly, this reliability coefficient is consistently reported throughout the manuscript to ensure methodological clarity and avoid interpretative bias. Data were analyzed using tests of normality, homogeneity, and an independent sample t-test. The results revealed a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05), indicating that the Learning Cycle 5E model effectively improved students’ learning motivation. Notable improvements were observed in enthusiasm, responsibility, independence, and active engagement. This research provides empirical evidence supporting the effectiveness of the 5E instructional model in enhancing the quality of the learning process and improving students’ academic engagement Islamic Religious Education beyond science-based instruction

    Get PDF
This study examines the use of mind mapping in a collaborative learning model to strengthen Link-and-Match (8+i) partnerships in a Center of Excellence vocational school. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving school leaders and productive teachers in the Light Vehicle Engineering program at SMK Bhakti Loa Janan, Kutai Kartanegara, Indonesia. The findings show that mind mapping functions as an analytical and collaborative tool to visualize key partnership components, including curriculum alignment, guest teachers, internships (PKL), competency certification, teaching factory, and graduate absorption. The mapped analysis reveals that while partnerships with industry are established through MoUs and several programs have been implemented, gaps remain in the consistent application of project-based learning (PjBL), teaching factory utilization, technology updates, and teacher capacity building. Mind mapping supports stakeholders in identifying implementation gaps and prioritizing improvements to enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of industry collaboration in vocational education

    Get PDF
This study aims to map and analyze the development of scientific literature on organisational communication in Pencak Silat organizations using a bibliometric mapping approach based on a systematic literature review. Data were retrieved from the Crossref database through the Publish or Perish application using predefined keywords related to organizational communication and Pencak Silat for the period 2020–2025. The retrieved publications were analyzed using VOSviewer to identify publication trends, thematic clusters, and the intellectual structure of the research field. The findings indicate that existing studies are dominated by themes of leadership, organisational culture, and athlete performance, while research explicitly examining internal and leadership communication within Pencak Silat organizations remains limited. These results highlight important research gaps and provide directions for future organisational communication studies within the context of culturally rooted martial arts organizations

    Get PDF
This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic educational values in Surah Luqman verses 12–19 among millennial Muslim families in Kasihan District and to identify the challenges faced in the internalization process. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations with six families. The findings indicate that the values of aqidah, morality, and worship are implemented through prayer routines, respect toward parents, communal prayer, and explanations of worship meanings. However, families face challenges such as technological influence, shifting communication patterns between parents and children, and limited religious knowledge. These factors affect the consistency of Islamic value habituation in daily life. The study concludes that while the values of Surah Luqman have been applied positively, optimal implementation requires strengthened religious literacy, proper technology management, and broader community support

This study discusses the paradigm of deep ecology in environmental philosophy and its implications for sustainable development in Indonesia. The main problems faced by Indonesia are massive exploitation of natural resources, deforestation, pollution, and loss of biodiversity, which are triggered by an anthropocentric development model that focuses on economic growth. The objective of this study is to analyze how the principles of Deep Ecology can offer a more holistic and non-anthropocentric ethical framework to address the environmental crisis in Indonesia. The method used is a narrative literature review, analyzing various sources to explore the concept of deep ecology and its relevance in the Indonesian context. The main findings show that the application of deep ecology principles can encourage a paradigm shift in Indonesia's development policies, from exploitation to harmonious coexistence with nature. The implications of this research include the integration of ecocentric values in development planning and increased environmental awareness in society

Marriage in Islam is a mitsaqan ghalizhan grounded in honesty and transparency. However, some husbands fraudulently claim to be “single” to conceal an existing marriage, facilitate siri marriages, or evade responsibilities. This study examines the legal construction of such fraud through the concepts of dharar and dhirar, and its implications for a wife’s divorce claim under the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). Using normative legal research with statutory and conceptual approaches, the study analyzes relevant legal norms and Islamic legal principles through a literature review. The findings indicate that false single-status claims are not merely administrative violations, but constitute dharar ma‘nawi (psychological and moral harm) that undermines marital integrity and violates the wife’s rights. In Islamic legal reasoning, this conduct falls under the maxim la dharar wa la dhirar. Juridically, it supports divorce claims through an expanded interpretation of Article 116 (f) and 116 (g) KHI
