Pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) dan Sales Promotion terhadap Impulsive Buying Robux dengan Emosi Positif sebagai Mediator Parsial

    Get PDF
This study aims to examine the role of positive emotions in mediating the effects of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and sales promotion on impulsive Robux purchasing in the Roblox application. This research employed a quantitative approach using path analysis. Data were collected from 251 Roblox users. The t-test results indicate that FOMO, sales promotion, and positive emotions each have a positive and significant partial effect on impulsive buying. Simultaneously, these three variables explain 75.8% of the variance in impulsive buying. The path analysis findings reveal that the direct effects of FOMO and sales promotion are stronger than their indirect effects through positive emotions. Thus, while positive emotions significantly mediate the relationship between the independent variables and impulsive buying, their role is not dominant. Impulsive purchasing among Roblox users is primarily driven by direct impulses stemming from the fear of missing out on trends and the attractiveness of sales promotions

The development of national education requires Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers who are not only legally and academically competent but also ethically and spiritually grounded. This study analyzes the concept of teacher professionalism through a comparative content analysis between Law No. 14 of 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers and the classical Islamic ethical perspective in Tadzkirah Al-Sami’ wa al-Mutakallim by Badruddin Ibn Jama’ah. Using a library research design with qualitative content analysis, the study identifies two primary dimensions of professionalism: (1) formal-legal competence, encompassing pedagogical, professional, social, and personality standards as mandated by the law; and (2) moral-spiritual integrity, emphasizing sincerity (ikhlas), adab, humility, and ethical responsibility as articulated in the classical text. The analysis results in a dual-dimension professionalism model that integrates legal compliance with ethical internalization, forming a legal-ethical integrative framework for IRE teacher development. This model demonstrates that holistic professionalism requires the alignment of technical competence, regulatory standards, and inner moral formation. The study contributes theoretically by offering a structured synthesis between modern legal frameworks and classical Islamic educational ethics in shaping contemporary IRE teacher professionalism

    Get PDF
This study analyzes the internalization, interpretation, and practice of the Living Hadith “Afdhalul a’māl aṣ-ṣalāh fī waqtihā” (performing prayer on time) among postgraduate students of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and identifies the influencing factors. Using a qualitative approach with a Living Hadith design, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The hadith is understood not merely as ritual duty but as a moral value of discipline and time management, shaping a religious habitus. This appears in practices such as pausing classes for prayer, scheduling studies around prayer times, and using prayer for emotional regulation. Yet, gaps persist between ideals and practice due to overlapping schedules and cultural tendencies to delay prayer. The study concludes that the vitality of Living Hadith depends on both individual awareness and institutional support aligning academic systems with spiritual values

    Get PDF
This paper underscores the necessity of proper morphology and syntax knowledge, thereby improving grammar mastery in English, before undertaking the Specialist Education Program for Doctors (PPDS). ‘Morphology’ refers to the linguistic branch that studies the internal structures of individual words and how they are formed, whereas ‘syntax’ points to the structures of sentences and how they are formed as phrases, clauses, and sentences. Decent mastery of both aspects will significantly improve the scores in English grammar, thereby considerably improving PPDS participants’ opportunity to obtain high scores and paving the way to better performance in their professional careers. The research involved a final sample of 20 participants, who received targeted grammar instruction over four sessions totaling eight hours. Data were collected through a 50-item grammar composition test designed to measure syntactic and structural understanding. Statistical analysis revealed an increase in the mean score from 53.8 (pretest) to 61.8 (posttest). A paired-sample t-test indicated a significant improvement in students’ performance (t = 2.582, df = 19, p < 0.05, approximate). These results suggest that systematic syntax instruction can enhance learners’ grammatical competence in English. Implications for EFL classroom practice and future pedagogical research are discussed

Transformasi ketatanegaraan Islam: Telaah historis terhadap ijtihad politik Umar bin Khattab

    Get PDF
The leadership of Umar ibn al-Khattab marked a pivotal transformation in early Islamic governance, shifting Islam from a spiritual community into a structured political entity. This study examines the administrative reforms and statecraft innovations introduced by Umar, with a focus on his political ijtihad in shaping a functional and inclusive Islamic polity. Using a historical-critical approach and qualitative analysis of classical sources and modern scholarship, the paper explores Umar’s establishment of key institutions such as the Diwan system, separation of powers, judicial independence, public finance, and internal security. His reformist ijtihad, including the abolition of zakat for muallaf, suspension of hudud during famine, and institutionalization of public consultation, reflects a dynamic interpretation of Islamic governance responsive to socio-political realities. The study argues that Umar’s policies laid the foundational framework for Islamic constitutionalism and demonstrate the flexibility of Islamic law in adapting to administrative complexity. These reforms reveal not only Umar’s personal virtues of justice, consultation, and austerity but also a visionary political strategy that integrated religious principles with pragmatic state-building
