Metode Tanya Jawab dan Penguatan Akidah Siswa SMP: Studi Kasus Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

This study explores the implementation of the question-and-answer method and its contribution to strengthening akidah among junior high school students in Islamic Religious Education. Recent discussions on dialogic pedagogy emphasize that structured classroom dialogue and intentional questioning can foster deeper meaning-making and reflective reasoning. This research employed a qualitative case study design conducted in two Grade Eight classes at a junior high school in West Java. Data were collected through classroom observations across six learning sessions, semi-structured interviews with the teacher, focus group discussions with students, and analysis of instructional documents and student reflections. The data were analysed using reflexive thematic analysis involving familiarisation, coding, theme development, and interpretative synthesis. The findings reveal that the question-and-answer method contributed to the strengthening of students’ akidah through three interrelated mechanisms: dialogic openness for clarification, reasoning-based questioning that supports meaning construction, and corrective feedback that maintains doctrinal accuracy while encouraging participation. Observable developments included clearer articulation of the pillars of faith, more coherent reasoning when linking belief to daily decisions, and emerging reflective tendencies in written responses. The study concludes that dialogically structured questioning, when combined with supportive classroom climate and clear doctrinal anchoring, can serve as an effective pedagogical approach to fostering both conceptual understanding and reflective engagement in akidah education

Implementasi Gamifikasi dalam Sektor Publik: Tinjauan Sistematis Berdasarkan Kerangka SPICE

Bureaucratic reform in Indonesia is frequently hindered by procedural rigidity and information asymmetry. This study evaluates the effectiveness of gamification as an intervention strategy to address these challenges. Using a Systematic Literature Review based on the SPICE framework, this research analyzes selected literature from the last decade. The results identify two impact clusters: externally, gamification simplifies abstract regulations into interactive simulations, effectively reducing information asymmetry for citizens. However, there are several factors that influence the effectiveness of gamification, some of which are digital literacy and age. Internally, it enhances Civil Servants' engagement in technical training and mitigates rigid work cultures. The study concludes that gamification serves as a strategic policy instrument rather than mere entertainment. It simplifies bureaucratic complexity and bridges public communication through an adaptive psychological approach. These findings imply that integrating game elements into public services significantly improves voluntary compliance and organizational agility, offering a viable solution for modernizing public administration

Interpretation of The Setan Card in Tarot Nusantara: A Semiotic Study Based on Roland Barthes

Tarot cards contain complex symbolic systems, including The Setan (the Devil) card in Tarot Nusantara. This complexity makes Barthes’ semiotics relevant for uncovering deeper meanings through denotation, connotation, and myth. This qualitative descriptive study aims to identify the similarities, differences, strengths, and weaknesses between the researcher’s interpretation (based on Barthes’ semiotic framework) and a tarot practitioner’s interpretation of the Setan card in Tarot Nusantara. The data were analyzed using a commensurate method, a comparative analytical approach used to examine relationships between interpretations. The analysis involved identifying and classifying the key symbolic elements of the card, followed by systematic comparisons to determine similarities, differences, and core meanings between the researcher’s interpretation and that of the tarot practitioner. Both interpretations associate the card with human powerlessness driven by lust and desire, representing the darker aspects of human nature. However, the semiotic analysis reveals that the card also conveys a symbolic message of self-awareness and the potential for liberation from psychological and spiritual attachment. The analysis shows that the researcher’s interpretation focuses on psychological dimensions and the potential for self-transformation, while the practitioner’s interpretation emphasizes external negative consequences and immediate risks

Pemanfaatan Media Puzzle terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Kognitif pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

This research is motivated by the low cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at TK Nurun Alanur Makassar, caused by the use of less varied learning media. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze holistically how the use of puzzle media can contribute to improving children's cognitive abilities, specifically in aspects of logical thinking, problem-solving, concentration, and visual-spatial skills. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that the implementation of puzzle media is carried out through three systematic stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the theoretical foundations of Piaget, Vygotsky, and Bruner, it was found that the use of puzzles significantly optimizes logical thinking skills through the assimilation-accommodation process and enhances problem-solving strategies through scaffolding support within the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD). In conclusion, puzzle media is effective in facilitating children's cognitive development through active and enjoyable direct learning experiences

From Policy to Practice: How Teachers Interpret Curriculum Levels in Indonesian TEFL Contexts

This paper synthesizes findings from prior studies that investigate English teachers’ perceptions and practices in implementing English curriculum policies for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in Indonesian classrooms. A total of 25 national and international research articles published between 2013 and 2025 were reviewed to describe how teachers understand curriculum policy, respond to curriculum change, and engage in continuous professional development. The review also explores challenges teachers face and strategies they employ when translating curriculum documents into classroom practices. The analysis identifies four recurring themes: (1) varied perceptions of curriculum policy documents, (2) gaps between conceptual understanding and classroom implementation, (3) the influence of teacher competence on curriculum enactment, and (4) forms of resistance and constraints that limit teachers’ awareness and adoption of curriculum guidelines. Overall, the findings highlight the critical role of teacher knowledge, competence, and institutional support in shaping curriculum implementation across classroom contexts, and suggest the need for more sustained professional development aligned with actual teaching realities

This study designs and tests the feasibility of a local history-based Social Studies (IPS) module on anti-colonial struggles in Aceh Besar Regency. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the module was developed through the Dick and Carey instructional design model adapted into a modified Borg and Gall procedure (problem identification, design-development, and dissemination). The study involved fifth-grade elementary students in Ingin Jaya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar, with trials conducted in four selected schools. Data were collected through expert validation (content, language, and presentation/design), practitioner assessments, student activity observation, and achievement tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques with percentage and rating-scale interpretation. The module achieved high feasibility, indicated by expert validation results of 86% (language), 88% (content), and 98% (presentation), while practitioner scores ranged from 86% to 97%. The overall feasibility mean was 90.14%, confirming that the module is valid and suitable for classroom implementation

Barang Bekas Menjadi Idola: Analisis Faktor Pengaruh Perceived Value pada Perilaku Thrifting

This study aims to identify the factors that affect Perceived Value (PV) among thrifting behavior. PV is understood as the consumer’s perception of product benefits compared to the sacrifices made, including price, time, and potential risk. The population in this study comprised all consumers who made purchases within the last six months, totaling 1,426 transactions. From this population, 201 respondents were selected using an accidental sampling technique. The analysis method used in this study is exploratory factor analysis with Principal Component Analysis extraction method. The findings revealed six main factors that affect PV based on extraction value, namely personal value (0.701), service value (0.655), shopping experience (0.627), image value (0.619), price (0.571), and perceived risk (0.520). Results indicate that consumers’ PV is more strongly shaped by psychological aspects, shopping experiences, and service quality rather than the physical attributes of products. These findings strengthen the understanding that consumer behavior in thrift stores is not only driven by price, but also by social identity, emotional satisfaction, and positive store image, which can serve as a basis for more targeted marketing strategies

Pengaruh Pengawasan terhadap Ketertiban Lalu Lintas Angkutan Umum di Kota Ambon

This study examines the effect of supervision on public transportation traffic order in Ambon City. Public transportation plays a crucial role in urban mobility, where traffic order is essential to ensure safety and service quality. This research employs a quantitative approach using survey data collected from public transport drivers and relevant stakeholders. Data were analyzed using statistical methods, including a partial t-test and coefficient of determination. The results indicate that supervision has a positive and statistically significant effect on traffic order (t = 3.726; p < 0.001). However, the coefficient of determination shows a very low explanatory power, with an R Square value of 0.001, indicating that supervision explains only 0.1% of the variation in traffic order. This suggests that traffic order is largely influenced by other factors beyond supervision, such as driver awareness, traffic culture, and supporting infrastructure. Despite its limited contribution, supervision remains a significant instrument in encouraging compliance and reducing traffic violations. Strengthening supervisory practices is therefore necessary to support more orderly public transportation management in Ambon City

Mental health issues in Indonesia have become an increasingly critical public health concern, with approximately one in five individuals experiencing mental disorders. This study aims to redesign the interior of Marzoeki Mahdi Mental Hospital in Bogor using a salutogenic approach, focusing on health promotion and well-being rather than illness-centered treatment. Salutogenesis is based on the Sense of Coherence (SOC), consisting of comprehensibility, manageability, and meaningfulness as determinants of a supportive healing environment. This study applies a qualitative design method through field surveys, direct observation, and literature review, structured using the Rosemary Kilmer design process (analysis and synthesis stages). The redesign focuses on five functional spaces: registration area, doctor’s room, psychiatric consultation room, inpatient room, and group therapy room, with a minimum design area of 500 m². The proposed design optimizes natural lighting and ventilation, access to green open spaces, privacy management, ergonomic layouts, and calming materials and colors. The redesign creates a more humane, safe, and emotionally supportive environment, reducing stigma and fostering holistic recovery

Pergeseran Paradigma Moral dalam KUHP Nasional: Analisis Filosofis dan Implikasi Yuridis

The shift in moral paradigms within the Indonesian National Criminal Code (KUHP) represents a fundamental transformation in the orientation of criminal law reform. Departing from the colonial legal-positivistic framework, the 2023 KUHP increasingly incorporates public morality and communitarian values as bases for criminalization. Through a philosophical and juridical normative analysis, this study demonstrates that the most critical implication of this shift is the erosion of the principle of legality (lex certa), particularly in morality-based offenses whose vague formulations grant broad interpretative discretion to law enforcement authorities. The findings reveal that several decency-related provisions extend state intervention into the private sphere without a clear demonstration of concrete harm, thereby increasing the risk of overcriminalization and inconsistent legal enforcement. While the new KUHP seeks to harmonize local moral values with constitutional principles and human rights, this study argues that the absence of precise normative boundaries weakens legal certainty and threatens the protection of individual rights. The article emphasizes the need for a balanced integration of public morality, legal certainty, and human rights in the ongoing implementation of the National Criminal Code
