    Analisis kebijakan pendidikan Islam pada Sekolah Umum di SMA/SMK

    This research aims to explore more deeply the Islamic education policy in public schools, especially at the SMA / SMK level where the implementation of Islamic Religious Education in public schools is based on curriculum and lesson plans and focuses on learning outcomes. This research uses the literature study method. Data collection techniques were obtained from the library in the form of books, journals, and relevant conference proceedings, especially those related to Islamic education policies in public schools, especially at the senior high school/ vocational high school level. The research concludes that Islamic education policy in high school/vocational schools in Indonesia needs to focus on the integration of Islamic values in a curriculum that is balanced with general education. This can be done by strengthening the learning of morals, fiqh, and Islamic history, as well as providing space for students to develop critical and creative skills. In addition, teacher training in pedagogical approaches that are inclusive and based on Islamic values is essential to create a conducive learning environment

    This paper aims to explore the strategic role of political education in fostering an inclusive and participatory civil society in Indonesia. Political education is one of the important instruments to develop civic awareness, increase active citizen participation, and strengthen civil society as a democratic foundation. Through literature analysis and library research, it highlights the political education's role in shaping an autonomous, critical and contributive society towards sustainable democratic development. However, political education in Indonesia remains exposed to various challenges, such as limited participatory curricula, limited educational access, and pedagogical barriers. Consequently, innovative strategies and government policy support are needed to strengthen the effectiveness of political education as an effort to empower civil society in Indonesia. In doing so, the study proposes practical recommendations for policy makers, educational institutions and civil society organizations to strengthen citizens as agents of social change and enhance democracy

    Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan ChatGPT dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berfikir kritis

    This study investigates university students’ perceptions of the use of ChatGPT in developing critical thinking skills through a descriptive phenomenological approach. Data were gathered via in-depth interviews with eight students from various disciplines at Institut Az Zuhra Pekanbaru and analyzed using Colaizzi’s method. The results show that ChatGPT serves as a supportive tool for understanding concepts, constructing arguments, and engaging in critical comparison of ideas. Participants also reported increased motivation, curiosity, and reflective thinking. However, some concerns were noted, including dependency on the tool, diminished active thinking, and risks of academic dishonesty. The study highlights the dual role of AI in education—both as a catalyst for learning and as a potential source of ethical challenges. It emphasizes the importance of responsible and guided use of AI tools like ChatGPT in higher education to maximize their benefits while minimizing negative impacts

    This study analyzes the influence of regional fiscal capacity on the performance of the Civil Registration and Population Service (Disdukcapil) of Maluku Province in achieving national administrative targets. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through interviews, document reviews, and field observations. The results show that fiscal capacity significantly supports operational activities, service infrastructure, and outreach programs, particularly for remote island communities. Nevertheless, fiscal capacity alone does not determine performance outcomes. Leadership, coordination, and service innovation also play crucial roles. Despite fiscal limitations, Disdukcapil has adopted adaptive strategies to sustain service delivery, though disparities in access persist. Strengthening fiscal policy, optimizing transfer funds, and improving governance capacity are essential for sustainable and equitable population services. This study contributes to the understanding of fiscal dynamics and public service performance in geographically dispersed regions

    The advancement of digital technology has significantly changed communication patterns and career development through professional social media, particularly LinkedIn. This study aims to analyze the strategies of alumni of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program (KPI), Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, UIN Raden Intan Lampung, in optimizing LinkedIn as a medium for career development and improving professional competence. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that alumni implemented various strategies, including profile optimization, personal branding management, utilization of professional networks, and active engagement with educational content through accessing and sharing information. The intensity of use was grouped into three patterns: monthly passive use, weekly use, and active use two to four times per week focused on personal branding and networking. Differences in intensity of use affect the benefits obtained, including increased professional competence, network expansion, and increased access to career related information and opportunities

    This study examines the historical development of scientific thinking in the West and its relevance to Islamic education through a qualitative library research design combined with a systematic literature review. The review covered studies published between 2014–2024 and collected through major databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, Google Scholar, and Moraref, resulting in a synthesis of 72 relevant publications. The analysis identifies significant epistemological shifts from classical rationalism to contemporary pluralism and evaluates their implications for Islamic education. The study formulates an operational framework of reason–revelation integration that can be applied in curriculum design, particularly in strengthening critical inquiry, ethical reasoning, and spiritual orientation. The findings highlight the potential of epistemological integration to enrich Islamic education and address the challenges posed by modern scientific paradigms

    This study aims to construct the ethics of public accountants from the perspective of Islamic spirituality. Using a spiritualist paradigm and a spiritualist research design, the study seeks to develop an ethical concept grounded in Islamic spirituality. Through zikr (remembrance of God), prayer, and contemplation methods, the researcher attained balance of intellect, justice, honesty, and love as instruments for data analysis. The findings reveal that the balance of intellect, justice, honesty, and love—reflected in the personality of public accountants—guides them toward humanistic values, fulfilling their role as khalifah (vicegerents) on earth. Ethical public accountants not only uphold professional trust but also spread love toward humanity and nature while nurturing spiritual awareness—an awareness of obedience to the will of God. For humankind, spiritual awareness is a divine instrument used to connect, unite, and return to God—this being the ultimate purpose of human life

    Students’ learning activeness in studying Islamic religious education: How does it relate to their learning independence?

    This study investigates the correlation between learning independence and active participation among students in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Preliminary observations showed that only 15% of students demonstrated adequate self-confidence in independent learning, while responsiveness to questions reached merely 12%, indicating reduced engagement and growing reliance on AI during learning activities. Using a quantitative correlational design with an ex-post facto approach, the study involved 160 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The findings show a significant positive relationship between learning independence particularly students’ self-confidence and their responsiveness in classroom learning. These results underscore the importance of strengthening students’ confidence in autonomous learning as a primary strategy to enhance classroom responsiveness. Educators are encouraged to implement approaches that intentionally build self-confidence to improve active participation in IRE learning

    Mathematics communication skills are an essential aspect of math pedagogy, notably in the context of scientific learning. This study aims to describe students' performance in conveying math concepts in writing within the scientific learning context by focusing on three groups of students according to their level of mathematical communication skills: high, medium, and low. Based on the results, it is suggested to conduct further in-depth studies, including a more detailed analysis of the factors that influence students' mathematical communication skills in scientific learning. Furthermore, more effective learning strategies should also be developed to improve the students' mathematics communication skills, both oral and written. This further study could provide a deeper insight and be valuable for curriculum development and mathematics learning activities

    Eufemisme Bahasa Gaul di Group WhatsApp Dosen Segawon Reborn dalam Spektrum Pendidikan Islam

    This article aims to describe colloquial euphemisms in the WhatsApp Group “Segawon Reborn” among lecturers within the context of the Islamic education spectrum. This descriptive-qualitative research employed reading-recording techniques and interviews with the subjects of lecturers at Universitas Sains Al-Qur’an Wonosobo, which were analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model. It showed that slang euphemisms are used in daily conversations with the choice of elegant language to avoid inappropriate expressions. Lecturers still preserve good communication in the spectrum of Islamic education for politeness and comfort, avoiding disaster, disguising meaning, reducing shame, and carrying out religious orders. Using slang euphemisms could reduce the impact of conflict due to misunderstanding. The study recommends that lecturers refrain from using slang euphemisms without losing communication ethics
